The best restaurants serving Indian food in West Midlands

Visited here for the first time last week with a couple of friends, one of whom is Romanian so loves visiting different balti restaurants when he comes over to visit. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. We had various starters, all of which were spot on and really tasty. We all opted for the Naga Chilli Chicken for main. This was awesome. Very hot & spicy hot.. We all really enjoyed it. Plan to visit again in the near future as isn’t far away from me. Cannot fault the service, the food, the beer or the price.

Missing both cans of pop. Food was lovely though.

Exceptional food,service and hospitality. Passing through for one night and can’t afford to miss out on this gem. Tucked away near the station it is a must when in town…… Great menu and the food is amazing and all served up by the best ever staff. The craic was brilliant and we even managed a complimentary quality nightcap. This is up there in my top five of all time, make sure you don’t miss out. Thank you

Ordered from Just Eat, what a joke….. was told 5 minutes ….. 45 minutes later it turned up after chasing several times. Cold, crushed and the popadoms were in a thousand pieces !!! This is council curry at its finest !!!

We go here quite often love the food and the staff are nice but the big thing that let's this place down is the fact that when you go into the garden there are people constantly smoking drugs this should not be allowed. They are obviously aware of what's going on but no one puts a stop to it.

Fabulous evening, exquisite food, attentive staff.. There’s Indian food and there’s INDIAN FOOOOD. This place is truly worth a visit. I highly recommend 👍

Had a lovely meal here for time here with my parents but my dad as been here b4 so lovely pub, food was well lovely so we are stuffed lol definitely be back again...lovely staff aswell! Been again for a lovely meal with my parents 16/02/25!

Had a very tasty meal. We were there at peak time so it seemed a little hectic. We didn't prebook but they still managed to seat us. Food was really good

My food was cold when it came and it was 25 minutes late

Recently the taste of the food has gone very bad. Not sure if the chef's changed. The sambar and chutney they give for dosa and idly was the worst of all despite the shop name being dosa village. I am a native of tamilnadu and I would never visit again for dosa. Couldn't give 0 stars as this was my favourite restaurant earlier. Wouldn't recommend to anyone anymore. Hate to see a good restaurant going downhill. Hope they fix it.

We have eaten in the restaurant numerous times and always enjoyed our meals. Last night we got a takeaway for the first time and sadly it was a real let down. Lamb was chewy and tough, and the sauces for all our (different) curries were bland and tasted the same. This has happened with other restaurants in the area too - great meals in house but poor takeaway.

Always had a good a experience with this place but this time the food quality was not terrible. I have never had a meal which had so much oil. The dish was was litterally swimming in it. I had to throw it away in the end be

El sol está fuera y todo el mundo se siente muy bien, ahora estamos en nuestro decimosexto año y en todos esos años, el Rajastán nunca falla. La comida siempre es excelente, el servicio es insuperable. Reservar con anticipación siempre es una buena idea debido a su popularidad entre los lugareños, también con más lejos, los que intentan siguen regresando. La comida para llevar está al mismo nivel, también es una buena alternativa si tienes prisa. Siempre hay un plato especial para probar cada mes, este mes recomendaría el pollo Lababdar. Recuerde reservar temprano para evitar la decepción.
