The best restaurants serving Indian food in West Midlands

Delivery order was placed at 18:35 (31st Dec) and a total of £42.25 was taken from my debit card. The following is a copy of the text message I received at 18:37 'Order status #B1098032 has been Accepted. Redditch Spic comment: Estimated time 100 minutes . for delivery' Given it is New Year's Eve I accepted that around 100 minutes was reasonable even though the website and various apps were stating 45 - 60 minutes for delivery. At 20:38 (121 minutes from order placed) I called the restaurant to ask for an update. I was advised they were waiting for a driver but expected it to be approx. 10-15 mins then the driver would be on his way. At 21:00 (143 minutes from order placed) I made a further call. I was advised that the order had left the restaurant but the driver had multiple deliveries. At 21:34 (177 minutes from order placed) I contacted the restaurant again. I advised I was not happy as the food would likely be cold and although it's New Year's Eve, I didn't expect to wait just short of 3 hours for my order. Whilst on the phone the driver arrived with the food. The food was lukewarm and we didn't enjoy it given we had waited so long. I'm prepared to accept delays on New Year's Eve but there was a complete lack of transparency in the delivery times given and the restaurants responses upon contact. If the volume of orders taken cannot be fulfilled in a timely manner this should be communicated to customers upon ordering. I've been trying to contact the Restaurant to complain and was sent to their booking support who have pushed me back to the Restaurant. First time using Redditch Spice after receiving positive comments from friends but it'll sadly be the last time we order or visit.

Ordered food online through Uber Eats Yesterday, They called me and said that they have some issue in their kitchen and my order will take 2 hours to get prepared. They told that they can cancel my order if I am not ready to wait that long for which I replied, please cancel my order. They cancelled the order but informed Uber that they have started preparing food because of which I was charged full amount for the order placed. This restaurant should not keep themselves available when they have problems in their kitchen and cannot deliver the order in time.

I ordered plan and mild chicken curry with naan what i got was chicken curry with vegetables in and way too spice

I been few days ago with family for iftaar. Food was tasty not much big selection but everything cooked perfectly i liked lsmb karahi personally spacious sitting area nice and quite atmosphere.

We went to eat here after some very disappointing food at the Shrewsbury Hotel. The good at Cafe Saffron was really tasty. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We started with poppadoms and onion bhaji, which were fantastic. The starter had three onion bhaji and salad along with sauce. I then had a tawa in a sizzling skillet and my wife had chicken tikka balti. Again, both were very tasty. We finished our meal with floater coffees. Overall a very nice meal and we'd definitely go there again next time we are in Shrewsbury.

This is the worst Indian I have ever ever had!!! I am Bangladeshi! I have just wasted £42 on water!!! All the curries tastes the exact same!!! He/she clearly used the same sauce in all the curries!! I’m absolutely livid I spent this much money on bland tasteless food!! No salt on butter chicken curry !! Food was late aswell! But if the food was edible the latest could have been by passed!!

Was an issue with our order but they were fantastic sorting. Food is amazing

Best curry in Rugbyonly scored 3*on atmosphere as we only ever get a takeaway from here, but the place seems good.

The food here is excellent for flavour and freshness. Great choice of drinks. Service is great, very friendly and attentive.

Good curry house in the centre of Stoke. Never disappoints, with good food and friendly service.
