Momtaj Bangladeshi & Indian Takeaway in Sandwell

This restaurant is fantastic with a great variety of Bengali-Indian cuisine. We've mainly get takeaway. This time we ordered for our marriage anniversary/ birthday. We ordered King Prawn Byriani, Tarka Dhal, King Prawn Bhuna with extras, Mushroom Fried Rice, Tandoori Chicken Masala, Popadams etc and a Variety of Nans. Compliments of the restaurant we were given Bombay Potatoes and various sundries. All the dishes were made to excellence and we recommend all of them as you will not be disappointed. If you want authentic food, then I can assure you these chefs know how to cook and will not take any short cuts. They cook each dish as it has originated and all the sauces will be different, unlike some restaurant who claim they are cooking Bengali-Indian food. Try and see what you think!

Have been a regular with these for some time now n always had a very good curry n service but just lately its been late n cold don't think b using them again time to move on I think

Naan solid as a brick and tasteless, dry chicken and a curry with absolutely no flavour but chilli (powder?) to blow your head off. Won't be using again.

This is now the only choice for take away curry. Menu choices are great, dishes arrive piping hot & full of flavour. Unlike some take away's the dishes are packed with meat not just a token few pieces swimming in sauce. Convenient to order via just eat & delivery time they give is usually spot on.

Excellent food!! speedy delivery !! Can't fault it. We order once a week. Sometimes they are late especially Friday night and Saturday nights. They always let you know though if running late.

Had a takeaway from here, very friendly staff & the food was very nice, we will be going back for seconds

I love this takeaway. The Butter Chicken is the best I've ever had. Value for money. Scrumptious food. A must try!

Elegí este llevar al azar en comer solo fue hace un mes y la comida fantástica, así que decidimos pedir de nuevo al regresar de vacaciones una vez más excelentes. La calidad de la comida es excelente lleno de sabores frescos y repletos de carne. El menú es muy extenso que realmente son mimados. Entrega gratuita es una verdadera ventaja y muy rápido. Ahora es sustituir una toma de distancia que hemos utilizado durante más de 20 años. Bien vale la pena para cualquiera.

had a takeaway from the momtaj today had there £9.99 takeaway meal for two. poppadoms salad dip. two mains rice and naan. brilliant value tasty and hot. great sevice quick s well . will be going back regulary fantastic value cant fault it. well done
