I recently tried this place for the first time, as we are new to the area, and I have to say, the food was delicious. I’m excited to come back and try more dishes! The only issue we encountered was the ordering process. We waited at our table for 30 minutes before realizing we needed to go to the bar to place our order. It’s not a problem that they don’t take table orders, but I wish they had informed us right away to avoid the wait. Overall, great food.

Being a regular customer here for a long time and it’s always fantastic food. I love the mixed grill and chicken tikka masala which are really tasty and also generous portions too. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was a bit spicier. But it tasted very good. You order and pay at the counter. Food will then be brought over. Since we were sitting in the entrance area, I deducted a star for the ambience. The staff is friendly.

The tandoori roti was uncooked very bad to be honest

The food is delicious, but there is no permission to sit here for more than 2 hours, so whoever wants to go here, should eat the food and leave from here...

A1, no less. Yet again sublime. There’s 2 things negative about this place, but I can’t take a star away for them as they can be easily sorted out, 1, we have a salad with the mixed grill, but it always comes late, and 2, they’re being a bit tight with the chilli chips, (small portion) , if you don’t have chilli chips you’ll be ok, however if you come here and don’t order chilli chips, you really don’t know what you’re missing. They’re amazing, and better than anywhere else. The soho mix grill is a straight 10/10 for us, and the curries are on another scale 😍, the fish on the mixy is mouthwatering, crispy batter and tastes so fresh, the wings have a batter coating and are also superb. As is everything on there. The bar guy (sank) is knowledgeable and very professional, I had a flat pint, he changed it straight away and the next one was perfect. I never think to mention this, but the beer aswell, is well kept, and you really can appreciate a nice cold pint with your food. TBH, I can’t really see me going anywhere else, as me dad always said, don’t fix what ain’t broke. Always over the moon with what we’ve had. See you Wednesday, can’t wait 👍🏻

Been here a few times and the food has been great. The last time we went the food wasn't all that and was bland with no flavour. The last visit I've noticed that the portions are a lot smaller now.

Kalpna staff lady is very nice person and helped us out and the food was world class

Me and my family recently went to the Soho Oak the atmosphere, the service the staff were absolutely amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and tasty and we were served very quickly and promptly. Ms Susma and Ms Kalpana looked after me and my family, they were very kind, polite & very professional. I would highly recommend to all friends and family.

Food is good but my god this is West Brom not London Close on £12 for chicken curry without rice it a bit of a rip off There are other curries even dearer £5.25 for chilli chips ? £3.25 for fried rice ? Over £26 for mixed grill ? Are you serious ? We gone elsewhere (9 of us) and had chicken curry for close on £8 You are outpricing yourself out of the WB market Sort out your pricing structure otherwise you are only to go one way Speed for greed will be your downfall I’m afraid Shame 😩

Went here following seeing The Food Review Club on YouTube visit. Place certainly lived up to their glowing review of it. The food was hot and fresh, the service was closed to fantastic and the atmosphere was what you would expect for the quiet period on a Friday teatime. Really enjoyed the platter and masala chips and will be going again soon.

Food was okay, lots of things tasted quite similar. The vegan kebab was quite good though, I think maybe I picked the wrong options. The masala chips were also quite dry. Lots of good vegetarian options available though! I'd be open to visiting again but would try different dishes instead. The portion sizes were also quite large considering the price, so I'd say that's a good bonus!

Food was amazing. One of the best mixed grills I've ever had. This is definitely more of a pub with food. There is lots of people drinking and having a good time and you do have to order food at the bar. This is not a criticism but do not expect a sit down waitered service

Me and my wife found this restaurant yesterday after 1 of her friends had checked in on Facebook, I ordered the boneless mixed grill and my wife ordered the chicken tikka, will definitely go again, amazing surroundings aswell.

I want to start by giving a big kudos to all members of staff in this establishment they were all exceptional. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left service, ambience and most importantly food + drinks were brilliant! We had spent a long day in the city and we was hungry and not disappointed by the food and drinks! The Soho Mixed Grill is awesome as were the chilli chips + we loved the sauces on the table. It's nice food and for service kalpana was good.

My favourite place for a mix grill without a doubt, veggie or meat is bang on. I feel shrinkflation has hit some of the dishes...(Not feeling the chilli chips on a little tray)... But overall it's still my number one place for a grill!!

I attended this place about a week ago, the food was good I had the mixed grill which was fresh and grilled nicely, I met a women called kalpana her service was amazing she was very polite and talkative, made sure I was okay anf very friendly throughout my whole time there, great service.

The Soho Oak offered fast service, and Kriti and Romi were incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The curries were delicious, standing out as the best dishes we tried. Overall, a great experience with attentive staff and quick service!

We had a great time at this pub, thanks to Kalpana and Asmita. Their service was outstanding and they took care of everything. The Soho Grill was delicious and the highlight of our meal. Other dishes were decent. Highly recommend for the great service and the Soho Grill!
