A1, no less. Yet again sublime. There’s 2 things negative about this place, but I can’t take a star away for them as they can be easily sorted out, 1, we have a salad with the mixed grill, but it always comes late, and 2, they’re being a bit tight with the chilli chips, (small portion) , if you don’t have chilli chips you’ll be ok, however if you come here and don’t order chilli chips, you really don’t know what you’re missing. They’re amazing, and better than anywhere else. The soho mix grill is a straight 10/10 for us, and the curries are on another scale 😍, the fish on the mixy is mouthwatering, crispy batter and tastes so fresh, the wings have a batter coating and are also superb. As is everything on there. The bar guy (sank) is knowledgeable and very professional, I had a flat pint, he changed it straight away and the next one was perfect. I never think to mention this, but the beer aswell, is well kept, and you really can appreciate a nice cold pint with your food. TBH, I can’t really see me going anywhere else, as me dad always said, don’t fix what ain’t broke. Always over the moon with what we’ve had. See you Wednesday, can’t wait 👍🏻

Kalpana/Naina has been amazing, great customer service on multiple occasions, great customer interaction, food/drinks has always been provided in timely fashion! I have had more interaction with Kalpana, absolutely amazing all round!!

Went to eat in with family service food was amazing musa the server came with my food fast and named each of the dishes so I know exactly what it is and treated everyone very good 10/10 service and food will come again.

Came with a couple friends Grill came smoking fast service server musa was polite and made sure all of us had a good time was very polite and patient with us as we didn’t know what the curries were and who they were for helped us with respect will definitely come again

It was a great experience from the time I stepped my foot in to the restaurant! I was showed to the table by Musa, who looked after us from the start till the end! Food was just right! The overall atmosphere was really good but if I had to say for the service's part then I would say they were fabulous especially a staff named kalpana. She was really enthusiastic and energetic, seemed to care about customers a lot . She was the one who stood out . If I had to remember SOHO I believe she'd pop alongside the restaurant because of the hospitality she provided. Nice place overall . Hope she gets a payrise 😉

Absolutely amazing experience, authentic Indian food and was greeted and served with great Hospitality by staff member Sunil.

Soho oak is the ideal spot for families and friends to dine and drink at. I was greeted and served by by Sunil and Anmol who were very supportive and took my order promptly. The service was top tier and i will definitely be coming back. I cannot recommend this place enough to everyone.

Wow love going to this place and the service you receive is fantastic staff all friendly food cooked to perfection cannot fault it we asked our server what he would recommend and the claypot chicken came highly recommended it's always worth asking the guys in the soho recommendations tried the chilli prawns and wow the flavours are incredible it was all fantastic we loved everything about it thank you guys as always will be back . Lovely family afternoon watching football and celebrating a birthday, lovely food well presented, great atmosphere and all staff are so friendly. 2nd visit in 3 weeks. Will definitely be back.

I love this place, this place has turned itself around, I stopped going here a few years ago as food went really bad, and the guy behind the counter looked like he weren’t exactly the “excited to be there” type. However on returning, the food has been excellent, lamb curries are superb, and the mixed grills really are the best I’ve had for ages, juicy tikka chicken, and lovely crispy wings… and we’re off there in a minute, can’t wait…. One thing I would say is to cut the grass outside, it would improve the place massively for such little effort.THEYVE CUT THE GRASS. 😀👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

One of my favourite mixed grill spots in Birmingham, food is always tasty. Highly recommend the chilli chips, and Soho Grill. The staff are always nice and welcoming especially Sunil who hosted us and provided us with a fast and efficient service! The atmosphere is always great. A great place to visit with both friends and family!

The food was great however from the moment we walked we didnt feel welcome. We were a family of 8 and reserved a table, however not long after the staff moved us to an even smaller table and were very rude! Shall not be going back , customer service skills completely lacking

Always 100% top class food at Soho Oak/Tavern. Went as a family of 4, ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Claypot, Keema Balti and Garlic Naan, and OMG, we were more than satisfied. The place to go for proper desi grub.

Went for late lunch so not many in there, food was great drinks experience just for coke and we wonder why people drink , wouldn't pay that much again but the food was lovely

After seeing a review on facebook and having friends tag themselves here. We thought we’d try it. Myself my wife and two daughters were greeted politely. Shown to our table. Given the menus and time to look through without a rush. Ordered drinks and food at bar and food was recommended food by bartender when I asked. Food was quickly served with efficiency and tasted lovely. Definitely go back and highly recommend

I took a friend for a late lunch , the food was great didn't have to wait long food prices great not so great for the drink prices 2 small cokes was nearly £9, this will definitely stop me going again as I don't drink alcohol and refuse to pay £9 for two small cokes sorry guys

The chilli chips are simply the best. They are flavorful and perfectly spiced, making them a must-try. The veg chicken clay pot is amazing in terms of taste. However, it tends to leave a funny stomach and feels quite heavy. The service at Soho Oak is decent overall. The staff is friendly and attentive. However, the experience is somewhat marred by the roaming waitresses who ask about your food every five minutes. This frequent interruption can be quite intrusive and disrupt the dining experience. Overall, Soho Oak is worth a visit.

Everything about this place is 5 star. From the food, to the venue, to the service. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and so were the toilets which is always a plus point! Service was excellent from the minute we arrived. The food was amazing and enjoyed by all the family. We had: Poppadoms Chicken achari 2 chicken tikka wraps Mushroom fried rice Chilli chips Plain chips Sausage and chips (kids meal) Kids ice cream (punki) Oreo cake Great portion sizes and excellent value for money. Had a really nice atmosphere and would 100% recommend. We will definitely be returning.

Today I went to try out this place I must say I was very impressed the food arrived quickly and we hot nothing was missing. The staff was very pleasant and we even had 2 staff that came and check on us regularly and made sure we was enjoying our experience I believe one was named kal who wore glasses and I didn’t get the other name but she had a pony tail they deserve praise and they definitely made the experience a lot better threw out the night. The venue was really clean and modern and the menu had something for everyone I will definitely be recommending think place and coming here again.

Went to the Soho Tavern for my mum‘s birthday meal I just wanna say 10 out of 10 the decor ambience the staff hundred percent on point the food was absolutely amazing. I had to Punjabi chicken curry🔥🔥🔥 with boiled rice salad and roti and mate I’m still thinking about it now I’ve been here a couple of times and you cannot fault them as their customer service is impeccable. Definitely would recommend this place to friends and family. And I’m now a regular customer keep up the good work guys👏🏽 Nat the girl who lost her perfume 🤭😉

Best Indian grill around..worth the travel

Carpark busy, the food was well cooked and tasty, however the prices have increased a lot and the portion size is small, I would go again but be mindful that the amount of food is not what is expected.

Best family place to eat in west bromwich. I have found the Soho Oak to be the best place to eat, I live in Walsall, and despite other venues in close proximity of me, I always take my family or friends to Soho Oak. I find the food always consistent, on point and tasty, the staff cant do enough for you and the atmosphere is family friendly, the whole process is faultless.

From topping up our pints to giving 110% customer satisfaction !! The food is very hit and miss, sometimes it is Excellent and sometimes it’s very average. Today was average, I think especially at its a Saturday, it felt rushed, and the sauce was not good. Please try and be consistent

Placed order for collection, one of the items was missing but we were still charged. no real apology just asked if we wanted to go back for it. Some family members suffered an upset stomach after the food.
