I really enjoy the food from here, its great value and the authenticity of the dishes is almost incomparable to anywhere else locally. No super sweet western style curries here... spicy meaty sauces that genuinely display the flavours of the east. The customer area of the shop could really do with a good clean and some updating. A family member of mine stopped going because they were not happy with the cleanliness of the front of the shop.

Doesn't look much from the outside, tatty & broken signage, but actually another great find via Google Reviews. Very tasty, good value for money Bangladeshi inspired food. I had the meal for one, which was more than enough for me. Would recommend.

Have used Rahman for many many years... Over the last 18 months there has been a really noticeable improvement in the food - excellent in fact. Each dish is flavoured as it should be and the right level of spice/heat - curries are very enjoyable, the vegetable side dishes are amazing! My criticism is the yoghurt dip that you get with the onion salad to accompany the poppudoms, yes I get that these are complimentary, however it is quite tasteless and it would be better to leave it out than put a downer on the meal. I don't think it would take much to improve on this...

Used for many years...tonoght food was poor...curry was nice,samosa's ok chips awful,keema may aswell been plain nann and no mint sauce which made sides very dry and unappeticing

Tried it for the first time even though its been open for years and got say we enjoyed it, delivery was when said it would arrive, well presented in a box. The one big letdown was the mint dip, tasteless like dipping your poppadoms into skimmed milk..

My favourite takeout place ever been a family favourite for years, the staff are so friendly and polite, and the food is just amazing, very good value for money compared to any Balti place.

Been our regular for years now, v.friendly service, always accurate, food always v.good quality particularly the meat quality and always piping hot, plentiful portions aswell. as others said pricing on the upper end of the normal range but for us definitely worth it.

Rahman Balti offers a generally very good delivery service, typically around 30-45 minutes for 2 curries, naan bread and chips. The prices are also around average for a takeaway place of this type. The only problem I find is that the food can be very inconsistent; one week you get a fantastic tasting curry with fresh naan bread and fresh chips, the next week the curry can be ridiculously salty and the naan bread crispy or too hard to enjoy. On the whole I would say they are pretty good though; the food is never terrible, just not as good some times as others.
