The meat samosas are disgusting. No flavour, you have given for the burn factor instead. The butter chicken is excessively sweet and the tiny few bits of chicken are like shoe leather. Never again

After years of going here the food was awful. The grill hardly looked grilled and had a weird look and smell to it so went in the bin. I contacted the restaurant who were apologetic however have not issued a refund. Waste of money!!! Never again.

Have been ordering here for years after discovering the place. We have eaten in and had deliveries, food is always spot on and deliveries very quick. Would go as far to say it is the best grill place to go in dudley. Only reason for the 4 star is that having been going here for years I have noticed the price of the food shoot up whilst the quantity decrease. I suppose this may be normal given the times we are in but still.

Best curry I’ve had for a long time fully recommended

I know that curry dishes are personal preference in terms of heat, but Kurma is supposed to be the mildest option and this was most definitely not a Kurma! It was so outrageously spicy that I couldn’t even eat it unfortunately :(

Never leave a review as can't be arsed, but i chose this place from a decent review score? Delivery was bang on time, food id give a good 7.5 / 8............ i put the nan and grilled meat in my ninja for a few mins as i like the food hot my preference, can't expect it hot hot when they do many deliveries and i aint close to oldbury... All in all very pleased and will order again.

I order chicken tikka masala from pretty much every where I go, but never have I had a tikka masala this spicy, I was fine with it but the wife and daughter couldn’t cope with the spice. If you like spice then this place will provide.

Food was too early. Food went cold as soon as served, definitely microwaved. Lamb chops was burnt, couldn’t enjoy it. Everything was soggy and cold. Waste of money. Mix grill and salad was not fresh, only thing that was “ decent” was the cheese naan

The large mixed grill was well cooked, tasty and there was lots of variety and plenty of it. Highly recommend.

Happy with the delivery time, very unhappy with having only 3 pieces of chicken in a whole balti. It was essentially a tub of balti sauce and not my usual experience of ordering here at all. Additionally, I couldn’t report it through the app

Staff are friendly and like to have a joke and the Regulars have got some good taste in music! Major issues with flickering lights in bar and toilets and to the outer buildings. Locks on toilet doors are unusable and hand dryers didn't work.

Lamb chops on a bed of none existent onions was a disappointment. Chops were dry, so not very appetizing

Too much oil in container, I don't like the watery sauce, but chops lovely, needs more salad. It was mainly iceberg with a bit of grated carrot, 1 slither of cucumber and a thin slice of onion (supposed to be on a bed of onions) I'd rather have had 1 tub of cucumber, yougart sauce with it, it would have gone with it better. I'm l glad it came earlier than the eatery had estimated, as I was hungry. Delivery man polite and friendly. Very good service.

I've only ever ordered via UberEats, never been inside, but can say that the food (specifically the paneer makhani) is maybe the best Indian food I've ever had. Whatever the chef is being paid, it's not enough.

Been coming to Phoenix for about 4 years. Mixed grill is superb, wife occasionally has a wrap which is also stacked (maybe abit too much with the carrot). Could not recommend if any more

Wrong item came and the food was very spicy. The korma isn’t meant to be a spicy and I couldn’t eat it. I ordered a lamb Biryani but a chicken one arrived. Not happy at all.

Food ok but if you need to go to toilet don't bother no door locks no hot water all broken and out dated, I spoke to the owner who said over 3 months ago he was going to sort this still nothing done, so I would never eat there because if that's the state of the toilets how does the kitchen look

I had ordered from uber eats, looking at the good reviews I thought I'd give it a go, absolutely nasty mix grill and instantly went to the toilet and flushed it all out and felt sick for the rest of the week, never again.

Cosy environment, delicious meat, chips and dips, a great for an romantic date and the place is calm and quiet, no disturbing like some other loud places. A menu to choose from of variety good and fresh large meals. Nice for an Friday night beer with a smoking shelter.

The sagwala, and naan were pretty good, but the korma was dreadful. It was spiced with generic curry powder, lacked any sense of coconut and was too spicy (it was split between my 7 and 4 year old).

Food is delicious and hot and fresh and staff are lovely. Decor is calming but TV's spoil it... Shame that there wasn't more customers. Worth visiting. Prices are reasonable and kitchen looks clean from where we were sitting. And as somebody who was a chef in the past, cleanliness is very important... But great tasting food.

Very good delivery time for a saturday night. Quality of food was nice albeit smaller portions and bit expensive but worth it for a one off experience.

Ordered chicken tikka masala for family. It was very watery and spicy! Myself and my son could not eat the food as we don’t eat spicy food, hence ordering masala. The naan bread were very thin and chips under cooked. Unfortunately first and last time ordering!!

Food was very late and very cold. Driver called me before arriving at door which I was stood at, saying he was outside. He wasn’t. When I asked what the delay was, he blamed it on Friday night being busy. If that’s the case, staff up or charge less. Usually love food here, but if you can’t cope with demand don’t charge full price.

There is huge sitting family restaurent and separated from bar. Staff is soo nice Must visit Huge parking space Reasonable prices Pool and other games

Don't usually write a review as I've been using this place for a long time now and didn't need to review as I know it's good all the time...But tonight was a different story...Firstly it was late and they're usually early from the time they state...The food came cold and the rice we got wasn't good at all...Everytime I have food here it's piping hot..Not happy with the service I got from this place tonight as a valid regular customer.

Food was beautiful real authentic Indian food absolutely delicious thank you! Bit of trouble finding my house, I think there was a problem with the delivery address and sat nav, however they rang me and soon found us no problems. A bit more pricey then some places but worth it for tasty food!

Always use Phoenix there food is stunning but really disappointed this time around firstly you would expect when you spend nearly £40 they would throw in some popadoms but nothing. We always order a large mix grill and 2 biryanis one for us to share as a family of 4 and 1 to take round my moms a bit later. The mix grill for £17.95 was none existant today. Normally container is bursting and struggle to finish and have leftovers the next day. Today the container wasn't even half full with half a sheesh kebab, 2 chops and remainder consisting of mainly wings. There were 3 fish pakoras which were the size of a good prawn and seemed like they had been cooked twice as really rubbery, again normally these are fresh and a really good size/amount. Our biryani had 3 small chunks of chicken in which i actually had to search for. Not looked in the one for my mom but so far doesnt look good. Really disappointed this time around

Eat Indian food regularly from many restaurants but found this place to be really poor. The nan looked more like a poppadom, it was extremely thin and looked like it had been fried and half was burnt black, also chicken tikka masala was spicy, very odd chef

I cannot recommend The Phoenix Bar and Grill's food enough even down to the fact that they cut the nan bread in 2 halves. I normally have the lamb sagg; the meat is tender and the food is always hot when it arrives. The staff including the driver are very friendly and polite. Well done guys!!!!! keep up the good work, i have recommended you to my friends and family.

Masala chips were average nothing special at all Garlic cheese naan was ok but below my normal high standards Boneless mixed grill was good I have only had fish pakora twice so im not an expert but that was the best one iv had Masala sauce was very nice best sauce iv had so far Probably second in value for money for the ones iv attended Service was bang on, everything arrived on time and correct. Also barmaid and waitress were very pleasant and welcoming Would return 7/10

Food lovely and portion size of the large grill are good when eating in. We ordered the same food as a delivery previously but was nowhere near as large unfortunately. Not sure if this was a one off or not but now because of this only visit in person if we do.

Genuine pride in what they deliver. Food was fresh. Mixed grill was freshly cooked (juices from the meat still flowing) and presentation on point (delivered in plastics containers and tin boxes. Deliver time super... food was ready, they were at my door. That how it's done!
