Had dinner this evening with friends and the food was incredible!! The service and atmosphere was brilliant and the staff were really welcoming! We had lots of different dishes and they were all so tasty! Would highly recommend! :-)

They don't know what's there responsibility when it comes to uber eats and justeats orders. Long waiting time , not aware of the fact that each order needs to be in separate paking or delivery bag .they do it how they fell like it

Food was semi warm - after the driver went around our area for 25mins. He was smiling and saying I was going round in circles. But he was in the few streets in the area round our house. We could see him went around for five times. Disappointed ☹️. But clock house always excellent food

5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review I would just like too leave a review About The clock house pub and restaurant We used the function room upstairs for a party and we would like too highly recommend the place for bookings for birthdays wedding anniversarys or business meetings It's a gem of a room . Big spacious and the owners and staff couldn't do anymore for you . Northing is too much trouble and the manager is on the ball with all requests. They even let you go setup hours in advance save the last minute rush. The food is second too none great chef and always welcome . We were extremely greatful too the clock house for making the event our night . The place upstairs holds around 80 too 100 people however with down stairs being the actual pub you can have as many as you please. . Bar upstairs and down stairs . There is parking on side of the place for those with walking disabilities but a massive car park on the rear . 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Are not given away lightly you have too earn that and these staff and management warrant it. Big shout out too all but especially the cleaner lady in the day who sets it all up . She runs breakfast in the mornings runs the bar and still made time for our night when we was setting our event for the evening making sure it's perfect Well done all Now look no further for bookings !! This is your place of choice

Rude staff or front of house whatever she is. Drinks on the job and just straight up rude. Morning breakfast was decent can’t fault it. Just upsetting that it was ruined by the utter ego of the woman acting like she owns everyone.

Food is nice and a good atmosphere however when watching the TV’s in the corner nearest the doors, they keep turning off so if you’re watching an important footy game for example, don’t bother as you will miss out on lots of moments. Very frustrating. This has been happening for ages now. Will change rating once fixed, if ever!

Came here for 60 birthday party. The bar staff were great, but the food wasn't. The food was not labelled so you didn't know what you were eating, good job because it was yuk. We were up stairs, had a small dance floor enough for us. I would recommend for the venue, but bring your own food.

Delivered super fast arrived piping hot everything was delicious would definitely advise everyone to give this place a try.

The pub looks like a nice quiet place for people who just want to relax and chat, with the option of staying for a bite to eat, but whilst we were waiting for service, we noticed a member of staff with long blonde hair, leaning across the service hatch several times to retrieve plates of food. Her hair was hanging over food and in some instances, she allowed her hair to touch food. She also started to scratch her head which really pit us off. Sadly the waitress didn't look like she'd care to tie her hair back before her shift or even put a hair net on. Sadly my wife and I took one look at each other and decided to just buy a drink and to eat elsewhere. I did mention my observations to the bar staff whilst I pointed out how their colleague was leaning over fresh food with no PPE, scratching her head.. the response I received was "some people could tie their hair back better, I agree." So... not a promising visit for us.

Chicken tikka was sweet and watery small portions were added for the lamb curry and chicken curry then we had a replacement the chicken currys we ordered for a replacement on Tuesday was too spicy purposely added the spice they did never order again from this place

Visited The Clockhouse on a number of occasions , always had great food, great service and a vibrant atmosphere. Great for families with small children as there is a variety of meals for the little ones to choose from. As for the adults, there's always something new which becomes my new favourite each and every time I visit. The manager of the place comes to say hello which is a nice touch and recommends new dishes which always seem to be amazing. During my recent visit, I could see he was extremely busy so he doesn't always get to come round and say Hi, which is also OK, but we were acknowledged. We noticed they have a number of new desserts which look very appealing, however I only tried one which was like a Ferrero Rocher inspired one. The desserts for the kids were fab which they thoroughly enjoyed eating which were called 'Egg Man'. Can't wait to come again. The Clockhouse never fails to deliver a pleasant experience for us.

Really enjoyed the food, decent atmosphere, was surprisingly quiet, considering champions League was on. Some of the TV's are below par, quality wise, but will go again especially for the mixed grill.

Went to a party in the upstairs function room. Great venue for a small/medium size party. The food (a hot buffet looked fantastic) . Will definitely return to try the food as we had already eaten.

Made an order on just eat. It stated no min for delivery. Then the restaurant told me £15 minimum order, so I cancelled the order. When I asked the receptionist when do I get my refund back, she mumbled something, with thankyou at the end and then put the phone down on me.. If they treat customers this appallingly, I'd hate to think how they treat customers food.

Accidentally clicked on collection. Called restaurant & they stated it was £15 min order for delivery. I pointed out it didn't state that on app & it was no minimum order, and they continue to argue with me so I cancelled my order. I asked when do I receive my refund, the receptionist mumbled something with an added thankyou and then put the phone down on me.

Asked for butter chicken curry it was to hot In spicy more like a very hot curry so daughter couldn’t eat it I would like a refund

Took our elderly dad here for lunch. No fuss just moved chair for wheelchair. Good price for lunch and good variety. All staff were helpful. Blonde young lady very helpful and valerie was very cheerful and accommodating.

We threw a surprise 60th party here in the upstairs room recently. The staff and owner were brilliant. It’s all just been decorated too so everything is nice, new and modern. Nothing was too much trouble. The bar was well stocked and drinks reasonably priced. We’ve already booked up for our next event in a few months.

Sport on 3 or 4 screens and an excellent curry menu. Good prices. Pool table as well. A bit of an American-diner style layout. If you want beer (or cocktails) and good Indian food whilst watching the game.... this is the place

Perfect for the family, lovely atmosphere, clean and very friendly bar staff. The owner of the bar makes an effort to come and say hello to customers, which is a nice touch as everyone seemed to be very friendly with him (Dal Sahota). There's a nice vibe about this bar. Highly recommend visiting as the cuisine is also very nice. Not really too sure what the review from ramneek82 is about as she sounds like she's talking about a totally different restaurant to the one I visited. Sounds a little insecure too if I might add that he/she is scared to take her partner out because bar staff and owner are "trying it on with her"...she must be a right hottie 😉. Anyhow, the food was fresh and I personally would reccomend the Pizza Naan, Lollipop chicken, Manchurian and the Mixed Grill...yum.

I visited the clock house on the 8/10/2022 I had a tikka masala and my husband had a Madras with rice and chips and the BEST GARLIC BREAD I've had both meals so nice and so much I couldn't eat all of it. I spoken to chef as food so nice best ever . I think could do even better in places as I spoken to mgr so nice people

Live in a block of flats - they gave my food to a random person outside then said they came to the 4th floor where I live. Staff members were rude when raising a concern/complaint. Will Never order from them again!

Being regular customers we received our usual warm welcome as we came into the bar. Ordered food and drinks at the bar then went and sat in one of the booths. Food came after 10mins, we enjoyed it, flavourful as usual. The kids were happy with the food too especially my younger one who requested her pizza made a specific way which the chef prepared. Will be going back.

None of the staff paid any attention to us because the owners family or friends were taking up half the place and were given all the attention. Manager was incredibly rude and even the bar staff were complaining about him to us! Noodles were just pure ginger with no other taste. passionfruit martinis were vile. Took an hour for the food to come out and it wasn't worth the waittt......go soho oak instead guys

The food was really good. The Lamb dishes are very tender and the service from all staff was friendly. We didn’t feel rushed and were allowed to sit and relax after our meal.

Put a note to the restaurant for the food to be mild. Completely ignored the note. My daughter couldn’t eat her food. Called the restaurant was told the manager was to busy to take my call and will call me back and he never did

This was the worst food I have ever had, I ordered 3 tikka wrap and 3 chilli chips. The wraps were cold, soggy and dripping of grease. The salad was just wet and soggy it was that bad all 3 wraps didn’t get eaten. The chips when the container was tipped just poured grease. We ended up throwing all the food away as it was un eatable.I ordered popadoms also and they tasted like fat so couldn’t eat them. Left a nasty taste in my mouth. I am so disappointed with this order, I only chose this place a it was rated 5, I will never order again. I don’t know how you could serve that to people, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Can I just say when my son bit into the wrap it just dripped out from the bottom. I can’t really say much more other than totally disgusted that someone would serve food like this!!

I checked this place out on Google, food looked nice cocktails too, so I decided to book a table for two. Although there was a few bad reviews I still booked. When arrived there was no greeting guest which normally happens when you go out to eat, I went to the bar 2 ordered drinks. Which the guy told me he will being over to my table. I seen my table as I arrived so the guest I brought sat down. Drinks looked great but took a while considering it wasn't very busy there was people there but appeared to look like family or friends of the people running the venue as one was helping himself to drinks and going back and forth from bar, table with guests and on pool table. I sat at my table for ages no1 came over to the table i then went up to bar and asked have I got to order food at the bar, well they said yess which was rather odd considering I've booked a table. Drinks was brought over to the table, I then paid for them straight away When at the bar and ordered food I paid for that straight away. So no table service atall yano where you dine out and then pay the bill. Eventually food came out which was great looked amazing Looked like the chef had brought the food out as there is no waiter service. Food tasted great I can't fault the food Cocktails great 2 for £10 Double spirts good pricing too Good value for money I ordered more drinks the lady who served me seemed okay Me and my guests eyes was bigger than our belly so was lots of food still left. The lady who served me drinks previously was walking around the venue she came by my table I said excuse me... no response so I just said can I get this to take away please. Well if looks could kill with the terrible fake lashes she was wearing that looked like there was living mities on loooooool there wasnt of course but they are terribly done and she thought she looked amazing... Her attitude was very poor customer service she has zero skills... none, zilch, nilqwa people skills and should not work in hospitality industry. And way she trotted off into the kitchen area, a few moments later a different lady came out with takeaway boxes, I made a pretty terrible joke at the time but lady look like she's being used for slave labour as her skills was poor too. No interaction with paying customer. Unless she was just copying in house behaviour. From an outsiders point of view this looks like a cover. If you get what I mean use the business to launder money. Hahaha Football was on the TVs when we arrived. we wasn't impressed with but let it slide until the rest of the service was poor. I've never been out to eat and football is on the TV not nice atall to be honest. This should be listed as a sports bar that sales Indian food, Not cocktail bar. Due to atmosphere we did not bother to stay for more drinks. I would NEVER dine here every again based on the customer service, customer service a very important part of many roles hospitality being on of the top 5. They should no about customer service when running a business. No customer service from any of staff Very disappointing it lets the place down drastically as this could be a really nice place.. best to just stick to getting take out from here. If you want restaurant service I suggest you go elsewhere as you won't get any of that in here. As a Google guide this is the review I've enjoyed doing the most.

I recently booked the function room for a wake. This was during the Christmas period so very difficult to find a venue who was prepared to book something other than what was for Christmas. I must say I can not rate the staff and Dal highly enough for their professional approach and their fantastic communication at a very difficult time. The function room was a perfect space, it was an attractive room with great facilities such as private bar, private bathrooms, separate entrance and a kitchen area which allowed outside catering. I thank both Dal and your team for providing me with such an excellent service at a very difficult and emotional time.. Kind regards Yvonne.

A delightful place with great food and atmosphere. The bar staff are friendly and there’s an ‘upmarket’ feel to the place. The lollipop chicken is easily one of the best starters and highly recommended with a wide variety of drinks available. Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again!

Visited the clock house with a group of friends on Monday. It’s a lovely set up with a great selection of beers. Prices were reasonable and the staff were great. The owner even took his time to go through the menu with us, he helped make selections to suit the whole group. The lollipop chicken is a must try. It’s amazing. The food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be returning.

My friend and I went to the clock House last night. When we arrived we asked for the cocktail menu I asked for one cosmopolitan and one long island iced tea ...it stated 2 for 10 pound The woman behind the bar said to get the deal you have to buy the same and not different cocktails So I said okay we will have two of each 20 pound paid We asked about food ...she said take the menu and u will be over to take your order. We took our seats and waited for the cocktails We waited for a long period of time And watched the two bar staff reading a recipe for the cocktails The staff looked traumatised. They eventually made them They were the wrong colour Should have been brown for long tea,and vibrant red for cosmopolitan. We tasted them and omg they tasted vile 😩 No taste of alcohol at all. I took them back and politely that they were not right and did not taste like they should. The bar woman said well I followed the recipe I then said well they taste revoting ...she shrugged her shoulders. I then sat back down to take a minute I then went back to the bar and said that we were not prepared to drink them. I asked to speak to the manager She said he was not in until 9 ish I said that I will be contacting him. I then said I would like a bottle of wine in place if the cocktails She gave me a bottle of £6 wine in place of the 20 quid cocktails. If that wasn't bad enough she then got some of the other customers to try out the cocktails that we had sent back After about 3 other customers tried them She emptied them down the sink We feel that they should not offer cicktails in the week days when it was quite obvious that they had no idea how to make a cocktail or speak to customers I can not believe that they get other people in the bar to try them out. We will not be returning to this unprofessional establishment any time soon
