Great service and excellent value for money.

Disappointed with the salad served with the onion barjees, lettuce was discoloured pink as though it was going off so we didn't eat it. Sadly no onion salad with poppadoms either. Ordered two different curries both with chicken and found in both that the chicken was very dry, seemed as though it had been cooked from frozen or reheated rather than using fresh chicken. Some odd looking vegetables with a strange texture in the biryani sauce too so had to fish those out. Korma sauce was better.

Food arrived on time, piping hot and well packaged. Partner quite fussy with food but even he enjoyed the biryani. Highly recommend.

Didn't get free item that was on offer with just eat, poppadoms were stale, food needed to go in the microwave . So this time around wasn't impressed.

So sorry to say as it is usually so good, but order was wrong, no heat in curry and not much taste to it! And fries were cold and hard! The good thing were poppadoms and naan. Quite sad writing this as all orders in the past has been lovely

They didn’t even start cooking the food intill I rang to ask about it. the food don’t taste the best it was mostly burnt and under cooked tastes like they put most of the bottle of spice in it so it don’t even taste that nice and taste like washing up soap with the chicken

Didn’t send the correct amount of popadoms but sent extra sauces and onion. Chips were greasy and needed more cooking. Curry was just warm, very disappointing.

Amazing quality and even better they delivered on time and with a polite smile and attitude. Very nice food never had any problems with chutney express.

My order didn’t come waited 1 hour an 30 they already delayed my order which is fine but then delayed it again then after waiting 1 hour 30 I rang an they siad not even been sent out yet even though it said delivered on just eat it’ll be another 20 minutes. Tben I was also told why don’t you collect it it be ready in 10 minutes disappointed an disgusted ordering from here for years an now I’m waiting on a just eat response as I didn’t receive any food and waiting on a refund !

Beautiful curry and naan. I’ve lived in Birmingham nearly 4 years now and it’s the nicest curry I’ve had. Bit expensive but absolutely worth it. I loved it and would definitely order again!

Absolutely brilliant! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so nice. Everyone was well mannered, service was also very fast (considering everything was freshly cooked) and when I had a problem with something they immediately responded. 10/10 customer service. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to try some fine Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine. Will 100% come back soon! One more thing, I love the open plan kitchen it’s brilliant and the fragrances that linger in the air are impeccable.

We have been going to Chutney Express every Friday for a long time now and they never disappoint. Food is always spot on, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Not a bad thing to say.

Absolutely 11/10 score on food , it’s what every curry house should be about , we only have delivery food and it’s always hot and still well presented. We can taste every herb and spice and the meal always tastes fresh , very generous portions and the taste and service has always been 100% …. I can’t recommend this place enough A+++++

I asked for green chillis and mushrooms in my biryani because I do not like biryani without mushrooms and I like bit of a kick with the chillis. Also, I asked for the sauce to be madras hot. But they ignored all this. Maybe because they did not want to give it for free? So why not allow the customer to pay for it by putting it as an add on like other places do? Or you could have called me and told me I need to pay extra for the extras I requested.. like I’ve had other places call me and I’ve been fine with that cos who expects anything for free these days anyway? Plus how much does a couple of green chillis and 2/3 mushrooms even cost? Let’s just say, the biryani left me with a bad taste in my mouth.. will not be ordering from here again!

I ordered a chicken byriani, it was just awful completely inedible just tasted of salt with spicy heat no flavours. I was so disappointed with this meal . I have never had a bad meal until now. Just disgusting.
