The time of delivery was within the time quoted. however an hour and a half for a Wednesday seems a lot.

Very greasy chips and rice , curry not great

Called their phone number at 11.20pm (closing time 12) and asked for delivery. Told no as no drivers going that way. I then ordered via just eat (the same order I wanted cost £10 more on that app) and they accepted the order instantly to deliver to me. I then called to tell them that was bang out of order and they basically robbed me of an extra £10. They only care about making more money, not the customer. They’ve lost a long time customer here. Il be going to lime pickle down the road instead from now on.

The food is excellent but 2 hours waiting for a delivery is discusting not even apology or any freebies .think need find somewhere new that delivers in decent time .this was pre ordered before opening so not even busy .discusting service

I always order from here with my partner over the phone so this is my first time ordering from just eat. We’ve never had a problem before but we had the one of the curry’s wrong, the 2nd curry’s didn’t taste right. And also missing our kebab starter. Very disappointed

I ordered from here and it's the best curry house I have been able to find. Every time is superb and they are super consistent.Every curry I have tried was fresh,you can taste all the differences between each curry, lots of different fresh spices used and they are very affordable. Lovely delivery drivers who are polite and always on time. If you try a curry from here I don't think you can be dissatisfied at all. Try them people they are awesome.

The ingredients are good but if you like a well cooked curry this is not the place for a Balti….the curry was not melting in my mouth but rather crunchy..never had or cooked a curry like that….i have taken it home added 2 pints of water and cooked it down for an hour and a 1/2 now that’s a curry

I ordered a meal for take out for 5 peolle everone realy enjoyed it and commented on how tasty and flavors and warm food was and they do spicy and no spicy food brillenty from balti to vandals. Excellent and fair price for good quantity. Going back soon.

Disappointed with the salad served with the onion barjees, lettuce was discoloured pink as though it was going off so we didn't eat it. Sadly no onion salad with poppadoms either. Ordered two different curries both with chicken and found in both that the chicken was very dry, seemed as though it had been cooked from frozen or reheated rather than using fresh chicken. Some odd looking vegetables with a strange texture in the biryani sauce too so had to fish those out. Korma sauce was better.

Food arrived on time, piping hot and well packaged. Partner quite fussy with food but even he enjoyed the biryani. Highly recommend.

Didn't get free item that was on offer with just eat, poppadoms were stale, food needed to go in the microwave . So this time around wasn't impressed.

So sorry to say as it is usually so good, but order was wrong, no heat in curry and not much taste to it! And fries were cold and hard! The good thing were poppadoms and naan. Quite sad writing this as all orders in the past has been lovely

They didn’t even start cooking the food intill I rang to ask about it. the food don’t taste the best it was mostly burnt and under cooked tastes like they put most of the bottle of spice in it so it don’t even taste that nice and taste like washing up soap with the chicken

Didn’t send the correct amount of popadoms but sent extra sauces and onion. Chips were greasy and needed more cooking. Curry was just warm, very disappointing.

My order didn’t come waited 1 hour an 30 they already delayed my order which is fine but then delayed it again then after waiting 1 hour 30 I rang an they siad not even been sent out yet even though it said delivered on just eat it’ll be another 20 minutes. Tben I was also told why don’t you collect it it be ready in 10 minutes disappointed an disgusted ordering from here for years an now I’m waiting on a just eat response as I didn’t receive any food and waiting on a refund !

Beautiful curry and naan. I’ve lived in Birmingham nearly 4 years now and it’s the nicest curry I’ve had. Bit expensive but absolutely worth it. I loved it and would definitely order again!

Been ordering from CE for a couple of years at least 2 a month. Always spot on. Today, we accidentally missed out our rice (most likely my fault tbf) it was at my door before I finished my starter. Love this place, love the food and love the service

Went with my friends to try out Chutney Express as they cater bangladeshi/indian food which we live off daily. Have to say the quality of the food is 10/10 we get to see our food get prepared infront of our eyes. Had it bangladeshi style with the spice and chillies. I think we could have just ordered a meal each and shared it. Curry portions enough for 2!! Will be back with family next time!! Keep it up guys

Absolutely brilliant! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so nice. Everyone was well mannered, service was also very fast (considering everything was freshly cooked) and when I had a problem with something they immediately responded. 10/10 customer service. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to try some fine Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine. Will 100% come back soon! One more thing, I love the open plan kitchen it’s brilliant and the fragrances that linger in the air are impeccable.
