The Lloyds Indian Restaurant in Solihull

Went there last night for my partners birthday and was terrible service, constantly getting our orders wrong and didn't evan make an effort for any of us very poor we won't be returning in a hurry and the food was very basic

Fabulous in all respects, must be applauded for presenting some new unusual delicious dishes on there menu, we will be back. xx

Had a great experience last night. The staff are friendly and very much present. The curries were incredible and you could really taste all the spices. I'm gutted that I'm only in Knowle for business as this would definitely be my favourite curry spot.

Almost there! delivery was quick and friendly on a Tuesday. Everything had a lovely taste. Could tell everything had good ingredients and meat was tender. Unfortunately, what would stop me from buying again is that the curry was quite watery and I got a korma. I’m used to it being very creamy/buttery so this one reminded me a little of a shop bought meal. It might be a preference thing so I wouldn’t discourage others trying it for themselves.

Very friendly, great quick service with lots of smiles. They couldn’t do enough for us.

Myself and my fiance came for a meal to celebrate my birthday. The food was stunning, one of the best curries we’ve had! We were served by Shuhel who was wonderful, couldn’t have been kinder. Overall a brilliant experience, would definitely reccomend!!

We don’t have a takeaway often, but this is the only place we will now order from, quality and taste second to none. Thank you.

Fantastic service from start to finish great food staff are very knowledgeable about the dishes and confirmed spice levels and if we wanted hotter. Couldn't fault a thing would definitely return

First time here in many years, we weren’t disappointed, the food and service was excellent, the best Bhuna I’ve had. Would have scored 5 stars but the room itself was a bit stark an too bright with neon green and red lights, and quite noisy but we’d def go back for the food

Fair play. This was a tasty curry . Last time I came 15 years ago it was average, but they’ve clearly upped their game. The chicken makhani was particularly tasty. Definitely recommend eating here 🙌

I ordered and paid for poppadoms and we didn't receive any. We had the dips but no poppadoms which was a shame.

Not as nice previous orders, really salty. Delivery been so late was awful.

I know it was a Saturday night but the food was 1hr and 20 minutes after the order. We literally live 2 minutes drive from restaurant. Food was cold and the chicken on one meal was awful. We will not be ordering again.

when ever I fancy an Indian I always go for Lloyd's, food is amazing, good portions, food always tastes nice and comes hot still. delivery people are well mannered as well always got a smile on their face and tells you to enjoy your meal.

Whilst visiting friends made an impromptu visit with the wife, what a gem this place is, great service, fantastic decor and atmosphere and exquisite food. As an Asian myself it’s very rare that I find an Indian restaurant that produces food of this quality and just like home made. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

My family and I came for the first time and were very impressed by the service. Our waiter called Sal was so kind, respectful and honest. We were in awe of his generosity and kindness. First time back since before lockdown. What a disappointment. Firstly and primarily, what is going on with restaurants of this calibre using frozen chicken? Dry as dust and zero taste. Aroma in Bentley Heath did exactly the same. Secondly the new decor makes the place soulless. Thirdly, the staff (or perhaps just our server) was gruff and unfriendly. So different to the numerous visits we’ve had historically to Lloyd’s. I hope they get their act together.
