Good food and good service. Recommended.

Busy Saturday evening. Service was great And food was excellent. Also enjoyed a few pints of Cobra and some good wine.

Whilst visiting friends made an impromptu visit with the wife, what a gem this place is, great service, fantastic decor and atmosphere and exquisite food. As an Asian myself it’s very rare that I find an Indian restaurant that produces food of this quality and just like home made. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Fabulous restaurant, can be a little noisy downstairs when busy but on the whole a great place with excellent food and service. Would definitely dine here again.

My family and I came for the first time and were very impressed by the service. Our waiter called Sal was so kind, respectful and honest. We were in awe of his generosity and kindness. Sal really raised the bar regarding our first impression. The food was so delicious and flavourful. Overall, we would definitely eat there again

First time back since before lockdown. What a disappointment. Firstly and primarily, what is going on with restaurants of this calibre using frozen chicken? Dry as dust and zero taste. Aroma in Bentley Heath did exactly the same. Secondly the new decor makes the place soulless. Thirdly, the staff (or perhaps just our server) was gruff and unfriendly. So different to the numerous visits we’ve had historically to Lloyd’s. I hope they get their act together.

Little hit and miss at this restaurant these days, have been going for years but in recent months food standard not as good. Service is excellent and prompt just not quite what it used to be food wise

Great evening, we had 55 under 13's and their parents from Sils rugby club. We had the whole upstairs and had a great night. Food was spot on & atmosphere & general feel was exactly what we wanted. Thank you Lloyds for looking after us so well. 🙏

Ordered a delivery which took 1.5 hours to arrive, and when it did, one of the curries was really oily despite asking for less oil. I rang up after an hour of waiting to be told the driver had left, but was late due to the rain. Seemed like they were dealing with too many orders as it was New Years Day

Absolutely fabulous in every way. The superb menu is reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. Decor is luxurious and the hospitality warm and welcoming making the dining experience feel very special. Definitely the one to visit again and again.

Spectacular curries. They give you the right amount of portions as well. Wide range of starters and mains. Good atmosphere as well inside, the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome, me and my friends often come here if we want to go out for a curry and we will continue to do so.

Visited on the 23rd of December 2022 for a Christmas Eve Eve curry with my partner. Called to book, the staff had excellent telephone manners. I've been to quite a few curry houses/ restaurants and grills across the country and the staff were magic! Well dressed, polite and well mannered. Great selection of dishes to choose from which was great! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks You!

In a group of 68 I still had excellent food.

Really enjoyed my visit as a guest of a larger group, which added to the atmosphere. Altho' my meal was part of the group choice, the menu looked interesting and attractive.

Just had a meal here with some friends. The evening was very pleasant with some very good service and the food was great. We weren't rushed and were made to feel very welcome . It was our first time at this particular restaurant and I think we'll be heading back there over the coming months.

Exceptionally great tasting Indian cuisine 😋

Don't be late! Myself & two others in my party were admittedly a little late for our reservation (15 minutes if I recall correctly, most establishments will hold the table for that amount of time). We were seated in the bar area for about 10 minutes, we were called to be seated & one of the party had apologised as we didn't realise we were approached to be seated & were then greeted with the attitude "well you were late!" apparently when that staff member was called out for being what I feel is rude, to be told they were 'joking', not sure myself or my party found it funny. The other alternative proposed by another member of staff is that we could sit upstairs & not deal with him! Personally that was not the answer for me, needless to say we left and found an alternative establishment with great service & food. I would opt for to dine in the other Indian restaurants in this area.

Had a lovely meal. Well cooked and tasty dishes. Enjoyed my lamb with squash. The veg biryani was excellent. Good service from the staff.

Good food, nice surroundings and attentive service.

First time visiting last night, we got a reservation last minute which was great for us. Staff were really attentive all night and all the food was lovely. We felt so welcome and the atmosphere was great. This has now become our local and we will definitely visit again soon!

We booked a table for 4 on Saturday night and we were greeted warmly as we arrived. We experienced efficient service, the wine we ordered by the glass was from a freshly opened bottle and the starters arrived promptly. Shortly after we finished the starters, the mains arrived. All four of us loved the food. At the end of the evening, a young man came up smiling asking us if we were happy and offered complimentary drinks. This is a place I would be very happy to revisit and to recommend.

The term Lloyds is, in my humble opinion, synonymous with quality. I was treated with professionalism when I banked with Lloyds Bank and treated with humbleness when I went a visitor to this restaurant with the same name. The last time our family visited was back on Sunday, 15 March 2009. It's still around and from the looks of the reviews still serving with British Indian Class.

Best Indian in Knowle (and Bentley Heath and Dorridge) by a mile. Rich, quality food and prices aren’t inflated. Staff are very friendly and they always keep a good bottle of scotch behind the bar.

Great food, great service and a great night

The place and staff were great. Food was ok but it was very loud when we went not sure why. It was like people on other tables were shouting at each other to see who could be loudest table. Maybe there was a competition that night (it was a Friday)

Service and friendliness is brilliant but Unfortunately I have to place a bad review regarding the food I have tried to call the restaurant and sent two emails but no reply. The manager unavailable Having ordered and collected our take outs last week ( Sunday) king Prawn Patia was one dish. The prawns were not king prawns. The prawns I had were chewey rubbery the sauce was not sweet I ate 1/4 of it 4 hours later I was very very sick this lasted through the night and the next day .

All our meals were different and equally delicious. We had a selection of mains and sides with rice and nan breads. Service was great, lovely atmosphere. This was our 3rd visit and we will definitely return.
