We get along really well with the staff here as we often go here for family meals on birthdays. The samtaff are so friendly and accommodating and service always comes with a smile. Food is fantastic as ever!! I would recommend for some good food, and there is an off-licence a few doors down to get your own booze

Times are tough no doubt prices need to rise agreed but why has the food deteriorated ' we are finished with this restaurant time to move on , Abbu is a star a genuine asset to you !

this was probably the nicest curry I've ever had. a huge vegetarian menu selection which is different to what I usually see on other menus. the food was absolutely delicious and tasty. it arrived quickly and the delivery person was really friendly. will definitely be ordering from here again.

Excellent service but poor food, won't be using Masalla Lounge again unfortunately. The poppadom was crushed into tiny pieces, the tiniest offering of mint sauce to go with the starter and the bread was stale, hard and could've been used as a dangerous weapon.

Me and my wife went there on Saturday night for a belated birthday meal. I’m glad we booked ahead as the restaurant was really busy. We had popadoms for our starter which were freshly made with plenty of onion salad and sauces. Our main meals were Chicken Dhansak and Chicken Karahi (pictured). Both were served piping hot and really tasty. Plenty of chicken in both of our dishes, so I can’t see what the other reviewers are complaining about??? We had rice and naan, again served piping hot and really tasty. The staff are friendly and polite and our meal was good value for money (£33.00). The only downside is that the restaurant is not licensed, but there’s an off licence two doors down, so it’s not really an issue. Will definitely be returning, in fact we’ve booked for 17th Feb and already looking forward to the meal. The chef and staff fully deserve 5 star review with one of the best tasting curries I’ve had for a long time!!!!

Visited as a large birthday celebration. Staff and food both fantastic. Such variations on menu made choosing difficult as wanted to try lots of them.

First and last time ordering from here. Food was only just warm enough. Naan breads burnt so werent edible. Deluxe mixed grill had 1 single prawn and the other meats were very dry inside and swimming in grease on the outside so not nice. Most of it went in the bin.

Paid nearly £10 for a few pieces of diced chicken swimming in a bland curry sauce which tasted as though it had just come straight out of a jar and was barely warm a nann bread a few bits if onion with cucumber in a bag and a tiny round container of yogurt tasted awful could not eat it a waste of money would not reccomend this place to my worst enemy

Really poor service. Ordered the stuffed mushroom which is outlined on the menu as a Vegetarian dish. When it arrived, it was filled with meat mince. When we asked the waiter about this, he was aware that the menu states this is a Vegetarian dish and that it was filled with meat. He said several other customers had complained about this and yet nothing had been done to change this on the menu or warn customers who order this. He offered no apology and was prepared to charge us full price until we asked that the charge for the stuffed mushroom be dropped. And even then, only a portion of the cost was removed from the bill.

After hearing and reading good reviews and looking for a new regular Indian takeaway, was disappointed, Biryani sauce tasted bad, off, no other way to describe it. Rice was OK...seekh kebabs rubbery but edible. Positives food was hot, delivery great, poppadom and mint sauce good. Sorry will not be ordering again. Ordered takeaway from just eat and gave 2 stars, but 5 for delivery unbeknown to me foodhub average out the stars so my rating looks higher than a 4 star! So beware looking at just eat reviews moving forward.

Just had our first and last home delivery, food arrived early and hot which was great and the ONLY reason for 2 stars. We both had biryani, lamb for me and chicken for my wife, the rice dish was ok but a little dry, the vegetable sauce smelled off (like rotten vegetables) when we opened the cartons and tasted burned. Sheesh kebab was rubbery and onions and tasted off. The keema naan... Disappointing Honestly the highlight of the meal was the poppadoms and mint sauce. Given the rave reviews I'd been given face to face, I was excited to try this venue as we'd been looking for a new Indian takeaway for a while, we're so disappointed ☹️

Good amount of food but was cold especially the chips, so had to reheat them. I don’t like reheating the curry. Maybe needs a more insulated bag for delivery with colder nights

Food was cold and tasteless! None of us ate it

It’s open late, which is good, but that’s where the positives end. Masala Lounge served me half-cooked chicken in my pathia curry and thought it was acceptable to knock just £2 off the bill after I complained… Also they stare at you whilst you eat so be prepared for that.

Regularly have food from masala lounge with no issues. Food came today in good time as usual however chicken in the curry was fridge temp cold, with hot curry sauce. Not up to normal standard
