Been there a few times now, the food is always top notch and the atmosphere is great with TV's all around so you can watch whatever you want in any seat.

The grills gone smaller and 2 small bits off fish very disappointing more onion and wings One veggie grill was Small to but the Pricesses gone up

Wouldn't allow me and my wife a table, as they said it is membership only restaurant, which I have never heard such thing of before and when I asked to have and get a membership, he said they are not accepting anymore members. No excuse apart from RACIST!

This is a great pub! My food was amazing! I had a Regular mixed platter and it was humongous! Well worth it and cooked to perfection! I really enjoyed it very much!!

Very good food, friendly service, you must try the chicken tikka balti and crispy wings, I recommend it. It's worth going inside and eating something.

We heard the food is good and it was correct Yes the decor is a bit basic but the food makes up for it Your order the drinks from the bar like normal but in the far left corner is where you place your orders for your food waiting time was good and the food was great I forgot to take any photos but the food was great Parking is round the rear yes there is off street parking but may have to park on the road I would go again or even have a takeaway This is good for a quick dinner but not a special date if you know what I mean don’t need to dress up ! It has loads of tv screen showing sport and a nice pool table

The food is amazing! We have been a couple of times now and will definitely return. It is very loud busy and the location could be better but overall a nice place to go for a meal and a drink.

Just been for a mixed grill and a curry with my wife and child The claypot curry is the best curry I’ve ever had and that’s hands down its unreal I’ve been to all the good Indian places round here and none compete with this Never had a bad meal here Only bad thing I can say is I couldn’t finish it

On arrival we didn't get given any menus, just taken to our table. When we ask for menus and order we had to wait 1 hour 30 minutes for it to arrive. The food was lovely, but not worth the wait even if it was busy. Toilets weren't checked regularly as they were full of paper and there wasn't any soap at the sink or any alternative for cleaning hands. They weren't enforcing track and trace.

Lovely place, lovely staff and excellent food

Yes, my children and I really enjoyed the family mixed grill this evening. Very tasty and fresh. We would have liked more king prawns, masala fish, sheekh kebab and less chicken which would have scored you a 5. But overall, it was a great meal and we will definitely will come again.

Over 15 years since I have been in here a BIG improvement. Nice atmosphere good friendly staff . Never had any food but looked good nobody complaining about it ...

Really nice pub, refurbished to a very good standard. Lots of screens all round showing all the sporting events. Food is excellent with an open kitchen. 5 star will be very happy to return again.

All food tasted the same! They must use the same base. Too many large chilliest and salad was just mainly onions. Over priced for what you get. Chilli fries are literally too hot to eat. Midlands pool bar do much better chilli fries. Wouldn’t eat from here again.

Good food and beer, friendly helpful staff.

Ordered 8 curries takeaway- firstly the customer service on the phone was rubbish .Then they don’t offer free popperdoms or salad , you have to pay extra. Considering ordered so many curries you think they would provide this. Then we get the curries and they all taste the same. All tangy and its was like they just added same sauce. And we asked for them less spicy except one they all come spicy . Won’t be eating here again.

Have been coming here over the past 4 years and always been nice.I must say the food is the best curry in Wolverhampton and I make a mean curry myself, so that's saying something !!All the meats are cooked to perfection and everything tastes different as they don't use the same base spices for every dish, which a lot of Indian restaurants do.Highly recommended. A VERY happy customer.

Must admit I’m a bit of a stuck up eater and when I went in here for the first time over a month ago I Was surprisingly impressed. Drinks are a little expensive for the area but the food !! Mmmm it’s so good!! Honestly have to say I’ve had a few mixed grills and theirs is really good!!! Their fish pakora is always cooked to perfection, chilli chicken is a little too spicy but it’s chilli chicken after all. Had lamb curry and that was so tender it was really good. When you drive by you may think “I’m not going in there” but honestly it’s seriously worth a visit. I’ve been there 3 times now and haven’t been disappointed once!! The owner is always so polite when serving drinks and is forever cleaning up which in my eyes is a great thing!!

went here for the 4th time not very happy £15 for family slizzer so small hardly nothing on it so wouldn't like to see the small or the size up from large for £2 extra what on earth would you get then food came out cold! £2 for rice your ment to share! just enough rice for 1! only thing hot were chips! .staff are nice but your not getting what you pay for cold food and hyped up prices from when I first went don't think in returning it's a shame I really like it there :-(

Rather unassuming on the main Bilston / Wolverhampton Road. Inside, the original lounge has been hugely extended to make an impressive bar / restaurant area with the usual abundance of televisionsThe Fish Pakora was fine. In fact, it was very good - light, crisp batter and good flavour. Lamb chops were big and juicy buy seemed to have no spices whatever, just mint leaves. It was like eating English Sunday lunch.For the main courses, all were quite mild even though we asked for “Madras” hot but worse than that, every dish contained large pieces of green and red peppers mixed into it which tainted the natural flavours of the spices. I really don’t know why they did this. It’s not in any recognised recipe for dishes like Keema Curry and we have never seen it before. The dominant flavour of the peppers spoilt the dishes completely and it’s the first time we have never taken the remaining food with us. All in all, rather disappointing.

Brilliant food. Especially the fish pokora. Go here at least once a week.

I have visited this bar and grill on many occasions and it is a much nicer place to visit since the refurbishment,a well stocked bar and up to date tv screens.my last visit was to get a takeaway meal,The mixed grill is plentiful and really tasty, but my favourite has to be the chicken balti curry it beats any Indian curry I have eaten in any of the restaurants in Wolverhampton I would really recommend you try this gem of a place where you can eat in or enjoy a drink whilst watching your food be prepared in the open kitchen

Pub is very clean and nice inside Food is amazing! Open kitchen so you can see what is going on. Food is faultless. We’ve been a few times now with family and friends. Staff are friendly too.

Second time visting prices have gone up and they have stopped the icecream you used to get free icecream if you spent over £20 So kids were disappointed the rice is not enough for 2 people so buy extra! but the food is stunning try the pineapple shandy and Apple shandy gorgeous will return because it's a tasty treat

Reserved table very welcoming food is fantastic tasty hot i can say its the best indain food ive had drinks are a decent price had my first pinapple and larger shandy really tasty ;-)

Omg it was beyond vile i hid my madras under the nan bread it was that bab, it was nothing more than a micro nan and i have had better currys from asda...the mixed grill was like rubber the knife and forks were dirty and the plates had chips in them.. we are big bar & grill fans but this is a no no.

Terrible, awful and not going again. Having been a few times before this place was good. Food was lovely and great tasting. However after our visit on 12th July we noticed the food had gone down 90%. The chicken curry was boiled chicken thrown into a watery sauce. The mattar and peas was bland and revolting. The palak paneer had uncooked onions and it was all bland no taste. The daal was all watery and the onions floating. Awful tastless food. Last but not least the tandoori rotis were brown and tasted like pitta bread!

Love this place, food is great. It's a simple ordering system, you goto the counter and order/pay then help yourself to plates and cutlery and sit wherever you want. Your given a device which flashes when food is ready then go back to counter to collect. The food is freshly made and very tasty, and very reasonable indeed. If you want a simple place to eat with no fuss or frills, but good quality cooking then this is the place for you.

I visit The Angel Inn Bar & Grill regularly and always have a pleasant experience. The Staff are great and always make time to have a coversation. The food speaks for itself and is definitely one of the best in Wolverhampton.

Great 'Desi' style BBQ/Curry food with a big selection of foods. We had the large mixed grill between two and bought a good portion of it home. Refreshing that the food isn't face meltingly hot like many local places - a pleasant amount of spice without needing to put the TP in the freezer! Lovely fresh naan bread, masala chips and a reasonable selection of branded beers and other drinks. We'll certainly be revising soon!

Food was great, good value for money. Definitely one to try on evening out drinks not badly priced too.

This has been our 2nd visit to this pub. We went with our family and little baby today on the 7th of October. We were treated with great respect and courtesy. Food is delicious and great prices. Overall ambience is fantastic. Bar staff are great.

The food was very cheap and tasty. We were the only ones ordering food and it didn't take too long to become ready. You have to order at a hatch and they call your number out and you have to go and collect your own food.The kitchen is visible and looks relatively clean.

Regularly eat & drink at The Angel. It was always good but after substantial investment in the last 12 months good has just got better. There's a new kitchen, new chefs, refurbished toilets & a new layout and furnishings throughout. Always very clean. Drinks a bit on the pricey side but I always prefer quality over price. I take my wife and two adult children here and they feel very comfortable & enjoy the food. Plenty of TV's + all of the channels for sports addicts. An excellent choice of draught beverages and an exceptional choice of spirits.The food, cutting to the chase we love it all, with exception of only one thing! The sheesh kebab, given how good everything else is, it is below standard. It's not all meat, there's something added to it that just detracts from the flavour. Sheesh kebab at other nearby Bar & Grill's head and shoulders above. Daughter is a vegetarian & very satisfied with the choices she has.However, give it a go, you won't be disappointed! Portion sizes are enough to fill the hungriest of man and it really won't break the bank. Miss the old chefs Chilli Chicken (extra hot) but the pub has moved on so Onwards & Upwards The Angel Inn, keep up the good work

Just been to the Angel for food and drink I had chicken Balti and what was supposed to be egg fried rice the Baltonsborough wasn't too bad but the rice was definitely not egg fried rice was more like onion rice and my partner had chicken tikka, chips and keema naan the chicken was cold and the keema naan wasn't a keema naan it tasted like kebab but putting the poor food aside the service was terrible we had to go and fetch our food it wasn't brought to you and when I asked for a doggy bag I was brought a carton and a carrier bag and had to do it myself if I had wanted to do it myself I would of stayed at home with a takeaway I always liked the food and service but since the makeover it's not as good I won't be going back
