I had my mehendi ceremony at Udays and it was perfect! The staff were super helpful and catered to all of our needs. The food was spectacular! Everyone enjoyed it and had a great time! If anyone is looking for a smaller party space, I definitely recommend contacting udays for this!

If you're looking for reliable Indian food, this is not the place. It's honestly nothing special, I can get Indian food that tastes better for cheaper at a pub, or pay the same price elsewhere and get nicer food. Cocktails and drinks were enjoyable, but not exactly accurate (I ordered a Manhattan, their twist on it was fine but just not a Manhattan) Service was okay considering it was a very busy night (mother's day), but definitely waited a long time to be sat (we had reserved too). Overall, not somewhere I'd recommend, you'd be better off eating elsewhere.

Food was subpar and still highly priced service was quite slow but that could be due to it being a busy night but even then it left a lot to be desired. Given the price point of the food it's not anywhere near good enough and I'd much rather spend my money in a pub or a takeaway for better food for less

Very good but not best in the world

VEGETARIANS DO NOT COME ! ordered a soya chicken and they ended up giving me REAL chicken, i’ve been a vegetarian for 30+ years now, this is the third review i’ve come across after realising i had ate the chicken, cannot describe how terrible this restaurant really is, making sure you don’t confuse real chicken with soya is very important. Please be aware..

Food was excellent and we had soo much fun today apart from this i really love the welcoming gesture of one of those employee his name is krish and the way he's talking that was great i really appreciate his gesture and his hospitality towards us. Recommended: spl. Grilled platter

Just had a brunch there it was an awesome experience. They had some changes in the menu and added new dishes. I tried it and it was mindblowing and super delicious. Will recommend to everyone and will visit soon

Service was slow. Could have been much more friendlier and explained how one pot of tea is half full for one person, and full to the top for 2 people. In other restaurants, typically one pot of tea/ person. Gentleman wasn’t kindly explaining the way they do tea!

Ordered vegetarian, vegan and found one piece of chicken. Never again.

Beware vegetarians. We have been ordering from and eating here since opening. However we ordered the soya pieces this evening we found a piece of chicken. The manager said send the photos, so I did. Then he messaged me back to say not chicken. He called me and I explained we used to eat chicken, we know the taste and how it looks. He sniggered and said not chicken. We have been happy customers for years, why would we make it up? I've lost all faith and don't trust the business anymore more. Making a formal complaint and speaking to Food Standards.

Brilliant food and service. I have had their chaats on a number of times and they are delicious! Highly recommended.

Very good North Indian food… we enjoyed their North Indian Thali for lunch…good portion sizes and nice ambience.

We had a superbly made, high quality, beautifully cooked & presented meal here. The food, decor, ambience & service were all outstanding & 100% excellent. I would highly recommend this lovely place to anybody. There is plenty to choose from in food and drink offerings. Thank you so much for a truly lovely dinner & drinks.

the curries were very chilly and too much oil no salt in some of the curries l wouldn't order again

Ordered Chicken Noodles with Veg Manchurian. Noodles were good. Manchurian gravy was hot but manchurian was cold from inside.

I’ve Visited with family. Place was nyc and food was delicious. Staff is very polite. Staff member priya’s nature was very nyc. I will recommend you to visit.

Literally travel from London to Birmingham just for this spot - it’s that good. The seafood platter is a must (especially the prawns and the Amritsari fish). The dal makhani and lamb are to die for. Get those with the cheesy garlic naan and you won’t be disappointed. My friends and I come here all the time because it’s that good. The staff are very accommodating and kind. Already looking g forward to my next visit

Had a fab experience for my 1st visit. 14 of us enjoyed a lovely works meal. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The food was gorgeous and I even took leftovers home as the portion was large. I’ll definitely be returning.

very bad experience with the driver who delivered our food. He used rough words of his own language to deal with the customer which is very unprofessional. poor service horrible experience. Never going to be order from here again. It was my first horrible experience with just eat. I recommend everyone to not order from this restaurant who deal with these kind of drivers. Khushpreet was our waitress today and did and excellent job of catering to our every need. Food was excellent and the hot drinks were perfectly made and looked very presentable. Overall, the atmosphere was great and we had a great dining experience and will definitely be coming back with family and friends for future events. Big thank you to the Udhays staff for making our evening so enjoyable.

Absolutely delicious food , so tasty and definitely not the same as other takeaways,food arrived hot and best rice ever. Friendly delivery guy. Would give a 10/10. Looking forward to trying something different on the menu next time

Krish and Khushpreet were looking after us tonight, were very welcoming and attentive. Service was exceptional and quick. Staff were very understanding for our needs and were always asking how the food was. Food was outstanding and great on the spice level. They also do ask you for your spice level which is a nice touch to the service. We also had told them that it was my grandmothers birthday they had surprised us with a cake which was a nice touch to the end of the night. Would come again and would highly recommend Udays!

Visited Udays 30th October 2024, superb food, really enjoyed the Lamb starters and chicken mains, best cheese & keema naans ever! Great service. Would recommend for great Indian food

We really enjoyed our evening at Udays, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. They had lots of vegan options, including ways to make some non vegan meals vegan so my husband had a lot more choice than he is used to. We will definitely be visiting again, and would consider visiting for a special occasion like a birthday because of how nice the food was and how lovely the staff.

Really bad customer service. The manager was very rude and can't deal with customers in a polite way, and doesn't understand English well. I won't come back here again.

Had a lovely birthday meal for the whole family to celebrate a special birthday. Food was delicious, Bahesh and his team looked after us beautifully. Catered for vegan and gluten free guests. Highly recommend

First visit to Uday's and it was fab. We went for a family occasion and there were about 40 of us. We had a three course meal. Starters were lovely and the fish pakora were the best I've ever tasted!! Main was just as good as the starters every fish came out piping hot. All the food was served at the same time for every table so noone was waiting. They accommodated vegetarian and vegan with some lovely fishes. Customer Service was brilliant - professional and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend it!!!

Superb birthday celebration lunch on a busy Saturday. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was delicious. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and is very clean.

I use to love ordering from this restaurant but the last 2 orders have not been great, this last order I totally was sent wrong curry I wonder if they are under new management it's ashame as I did look forward to order from them wil now have to find new place.

Went here for Indian afternoon tea. 2 for £30 - excellent value for money. Mixture of Indian food, sandwiches and sweet treats. Great service. Free flowing chai tea or cappuccino. The cappuccino machine went out of service whilst we were there but was offered a cold drink instead as I don't drink tea, which was good. Booked online, but they do call for a deposit to be paid in advance. Nice atmosphere and well decorated inside.

Customer service is very Bad. Mannager is worst person to deal with. We have ordered wrong drink by mistake and we kindly asked them to change the drink and they said they can’t change it. We have also returned the drink because taste was bad. And they still charged for the drink and didn’t bother afterwards.
