Newbridge Tandoori in Wolverhampton

The company refused to refund all four naans which were not fully cooked. They said they’d only refund one; such poor service and we will not be buying from there again. Very disappointing.

Had the lamb balti and the chicken butter. Food is delicious. Very well done indeed. If you pick it up you can see the whole kitchen and the place is spotless, very clean.

I placed an order on two occasions where they made a meal without the extra items I'd paid for. After the first time I complained through just eat but nothing got resolved. Tried a similar order again last night and the same happened, I got a meal sent to me incorrectly. They must have read the order ticket on their end and just made the default dish. Rather than complaining again via just eat I popped in today as I walked past, explained the situation, that across two orders I've now paid £4 for nothing. They resolved the issue then and there. Great Customer service. Easily the best curry house in Wolverhampton. It's become my favourite because of the quality of the food and service. Fully recommend.

Just ordered from Uber eats. Ordered a Rogan Josh however it seems to be more of a mash of the left overs. Incredibly spicy for a Rogan - pretty much inedible. I'd give it a minus score if I could. Won't return.

The Food Menu here is brilliant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Particularly enjoy the Chicken Jalfrazi and Keema Naan. Great Service and value for what you get. Highly recommended

I'd read the reviews and was looking forward to great food. However, the Goa Prawn and Garlic Chilli Chicken were definitely lacking flavour, chicken and prawn. The food lacked real depth and marinade flavour, and chicken/prawn.

Beautiful food, reasonably priced, staff are very friendly and if there is any issue they are happy to help, my misses loved the lamb biryani.

Worst curry ever… we’ve avoided the Newbridge Tandoori for quite a while as past experience hasn’t been great however, as this was a couple of years ago we thought we’d give them another shot… BIG MISTAKE!!! The chicken tikka was dry, bland and tasteless, onions weren’t cooked and the sheek kebab was rock hard - I just can’t understand why anyone would rate them. There is no way we’d order from here again as we’re consistently left disappointed!

No pictures because it was too good to wait for it 🤣 Maybe next time, folks! We had the Jalfrezi Vegetable (satisfyingly sharp and tangy), the Lahore Special Vegetable (packed with vegetables and flavour) and the Begun Bhajee (creamy and almost sweet). It was absolutely delicious. Definitely going back for more soon!

Second time ordering takeaway from this place and it was awful. Very oily and not tasty at all. As a comparison I’d say Aldi’s semi cooked curry’s are more tasty then our meals were. Can’t say anything about their Nan bread. Was lucky to order this as it was the only bit from this meal that I ate.

Amazing portions for very reasonable prices. Food is always top notch and service is always polite, courteous, generous and professional. Highly recommended.

By far the best takeaway in the area. Only ever had 1 issue (wrong dish) and they were very helpful and willing to resolve it. And even then it was delicious and the wrong dish is now my wife's favourite!

Used this takeaway over 5 years never been spoke to rude the excact opposite Food always excellent standard Maybe if you do need to wait longer than some takeaways that speaks for itself must be rather busy I always phone couple of hours in advice and give the team time to prepare and cook my food fresh Not pre cooked rubbish like some out there

First time and definitely NOT the last, yes a bit late, however they e mailed to forewarn us. The website is expansive clear and easy to use. The food was fabulous the best takeaway from the local environs in a long long time, thanks to friends for recommendation. The Chicken Tikka Niga was excellent, as was the King Prawn Goan. All lovely.

One of the worst takeaways I've had in a long time. I ordered the butter chicken and there was a thick layer of grease on the top, which I had to tip down the sink. They sent the wrong thing for my daughter and there was no dip with the poppadoms. Over all very poor

Great food good price and they deliver

Decent food (the bits that we actually received, anyway). Very overpriced. Rude customer service. Took 2 hours for delivery. Missed an item on JustEat order - the actual curry. So we were left with rice, bread and fish pakora. They refused to believe the curry was missing (insinuating we were lying), they wouldn’t call the driver as he was ‘now gone’ (he left our house 2 mins before i called the restaurant, strange) and they were unable to deliver missing item as restaurant ‘now closed’ (10.05pm yet open till 11.00pm) Currently arguing with JustEat as this restaurant refuses to refund the order and so do JustEat. Farce. Avoid this place at all costs, complete waste of time.

We ordered last night via the just eat app and the food took over an hour to arrive. When it did arrive the king prawn dishes were missing. However the rest of the food was amazing.

I certainly will be avoiding this place in the future, i placed an order online 3 hours later food still hadn't arrived i called the restaurant to be told by a very rude man he had no idea when the food would be arriving, when it did finally arrive half of it was missing and the other half was stone cold and inedible

A round of applause 👏 👏 for the absolutely MIND-BLOWING takeaway we had from Newbridge Tandoori. This is by far the only Indian restaurant in Wolverhampton that can do proper Indian food (and we have tried everywhere from 5 star restaurants to pubs for the actual taste). I am so pleased that they offer better than 5 star restaurant taste even as a takeaway. We ordered a tandoori Mixed grill main and two sides thinking me and my husband could easily finish it- we were still having the sides as mains for breakfast!! Their portions are worth the price you pay and we even got free popadoms. I believe when food is cooked with proper skill and time only then can you achieve the exquisite taste we experienced. The driver was on time and extremely polite. We are sure to become regulars at Newbridge Tandoori! Well done 👍

The customer service is fantastic. Telephone orders can be taken. Delivery is available through Uber Eats. The food is freshly prepared and of the highest standard. The range of dishes available is extensive. Vegetarians are well catered for. Ask if you would something not on the menu and they will prepare it if they have the ingredients. There is ample car parking towards the back of the take away. There is off licence and co op in the vicinity to pick up a bottle of wine or some beers. This is one of my favourite curry take aways in Wolverhampton. It is well worth a visit to support a local business

Always excellent food and prompt service

We order takeaway from here at least once a month and have done so for the past three years. Never had a bad meal. Service is efficient and friendly: deliveries are usually on time ( they always ask if 10 mins either side of time will be ok). I advise you to ring in advance on Fridays and Saturdays as this place is popular. A recent family party of 7 all enjoyed starters, mains with additional sides and accompaniments. Food arrived on time, v hot, clearly labelled with free poppadoms. Extra yoghurt sauce, as we find the red chilli sauce v spicy. I usually ask for some meals less spicy, as on occasion the mild meals such as korma for two members of our party have been a tad spicy. Food is generally excellent, super value and we keep using Newbridge despite having a number of other takeaway Indian on the doorstep. Portions are very generous :) Highly recommended ! The photo on the Newbridge trip adviser site does not reflect the food that we regularly enjoy - we have never received burnt poppadoms or naans. 9/10

I love newbridge tandoori...so much that its the only place i order indian cuisine now..iv found the perfect takeaway...the staff members are used to me now....if you go to the justeat website you will see all the possitive reviews i have left for this number 1 takeaway...i order a lot from here..believe me..the food is 100% to perfection..very tasty..always delivered on time or earlier..food is always hot upon delivery...upon collecting you can see your food being prepared and the staff are very polite..lovely people..they invite you to newbridge tandoori with a friendly smile and although the name on this review is not my usual alias on just eat..im sure the staff will know who iam when i say its thier number 1 customer..'natasha'...i always have the rogan josh and my partner always has vindaloo....best food ever... please all do give newbridge tandoori a try..im very confident you will love the food as much as i do...i used to try different indian takeaway places until i came across newbridge tandoori...now..i dont go anywere else...this place is indian cuisine at its finest...the best in my opinion...but try it yoursef and im sure 100% you will agree with what ive said...ill attatch a few review pics to this review next time i order..to show you the deliciousness...thank you newbridge tandoori..keep up the fab work 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😊👍

I ordered takeaway from here a few months ago, it was terrible, this was our go to takeaway however our pathia tasted of nothing but tinned tomatoes like someone had forgotten the spice completely the rogan josh was no better the naans were not edible. I left a just eat review to which the owner replied and asked me to get in touch however this was obviously for show as several emails and unanswered phone calls later they haven't bothered to address any issues. The meal ended up in the bin and our once favourite takeaway is no longer somewhere we would order from. Waste of money and gone down hill.

The food we received was spot on, I would recommend that you check your order very carefully before accepting it,as we did not receive the complete order.

When I fancy a curry this is usually my go to even though I have to travel for it. Always satisfied and big portions.

Basic Indian food, curry is very runny. Visited here for a takeaway as friend had recommended... big mistake, never again.

An exceptional restaurant with food that always tastes fresh and delicious. Add to that a friendly atmosphere and you have easily the best Indian restaurant in Wolverhampton. Head and shoulders above everyone else!

We ordered a take away from here last night. We ordered 4 poppadoms, 2 were in a separate bag and okay, just normal. We also received a bag of what I can only describe as burnt crumbs. It looked like they had tried to reheat the Pre-packaged ones that you can get from most supermarkets. They were black and smelt like fire. ( they ended up in the bin-picture attached ) My husbands lamb chops starter was a plate of bones, they had very little meat on them and were incredibly chewy. Our main dishes were also inedible, as they were just too hot. We both like a hot Balti but this was extreme. Again this ended up in the bin. Complete waste of money. We won’t be going back. Will be using Indigo in future!

Have ordered from this resrurant for a while and they have always delivered in the past. I called today for takeaway for the person on the phone to be very rude and deny ever delivering to my address and then using all sorts of excuses not to deliver. !

Was going to order here but didn't even bother!! Menu isn't as expected

We live 40 miles away, but if we're anywhere near this Indian, we order their chicken pakoras and onion bahjees, as they are the best you can buy. The sauces that come with them are amazing too. Honestly, we all say if this Indian was anywhere near where we live, we would never go anywhere else

Visit here regularly for a takeaway,in fact it's the only place I order Indian takeaway from. Food is always of an extremely high standard and very tasty. Can recommend the tandoori murgh masala. The staff are all friendly too.
