I recently dined at iso and I had a fantastic experience. The sushi was top- notch with fresh ingredients and beautifully crafted rolls that delighted the taste Buds . Each bite was bursting with flavour making it clear that chef takes pride in their work . The staff at iso were equally impressive . They were friendly attentive and made my dining experience enjoyable. Their excellent service truly enhanced the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. If you're in the mood of trying delicious Japanese authentic cuisine and a welcoming staff. I highly recommend visiting iso !♥️

Never order delivery from this place, they take your order then don't deliver, refuse to answer the phone or put the phone down without talking when you call to complain

Food here is 10/10 . The katsu curry taste great , I usually avoid katsu curry in other places but this place is amazing , comes with hot rice and crunchy chicken with gravy all over it. The squid and bao buns were absolutely delicious. The place has plenty of seats and it tends to have lots of deliveries. Definitely recommend this place everything was full of flavor and it wasn’t too pricey either. Staff are helpful too and welcoming.

One of the best Japanese restaurant in Wolverhampton without a doubt . I ordered a lot of items including sushi, noodles, and ramen soup, baobuns. The sushi is highly recommended and the soup was delicious 😋. I had a wonderful dining experience at this Japanese restaurant. The sushi rolls are fresh and flavourful, with the perfect balance of sauces. The service was amazing . I was so happy I got to know this place . Will be coming back for sure ! Could give them 10 stars 🌟

What an absolute gem! I have driven past this restaurant more times than I could count and I am so glad my wife found it. The food was outstanding, the service was attentive, with the order taken at your table and served to you. Our food was freshly prepared and the portion size was unbelievable. Our order consisted of Chicken Ramen, Chicken Teriyaki and a 20 piece sushi box (which we took home). My wife was pleasantly overwhelmed by the size of his Ramen, so much so he couldn’t finish it. Not a problem as the restaurant packed it up for him to take home. Our order came to £30!! Which in our opinion was an absolute bargain. We ate at lunch time, and we didn’t eat dinner that evening as we were still full from lunch! Thank you for your hospitality, your tasty food and we will be back again to dine or place an order for home delivery.

Ordered from their Wok&Bun business last night, with a friend (it's same address and same food packaging) for a party and was so disappointed by the quality of the food that came: - the burgers had dry buns, overly salty, recooked, tough chicken burgers, more salt than spicy, barely any lettuce or sauce - fries were recooked, tough, not fresh at all - the duck and cucumber rolls were ok but the shape of them felt very haphazardly put together: wider and thinner than expected, and wonky and tasted like the duck was not fresh - chicken fried rice felt very overcooked/perhaps cooked again past what would have been accepted and too salty Overall, very sad and disappointed, my guests and I couldn't finish our food and sadly alot left to waste. Unfortunately, this is the last time we will order from ISO/Wok & Bun, the quality over the last 3 years had really deteriorated, since new management has taken over, especially with the chicken teriyaki and rice dishes (once had rice that was still crunchy and undercooked and teriyaki was too salty than times had before. Such a shame.

Ordered takeaway from here last night through Just Eat and it was absolutely atrocious! Avoid at all costs! Ordered food at half 7. Estimated delivery was between 8 and 8:20. This was then changed by the restaurant to 8:45. Fine, if you are busy we understand. Then by 8:50 when it had still not arrived we tried ringing them directly. No answer from them with none stop calling for half an hour! We then had another update from Just Eat that it would now be here by 9:10 (an hour later than originally estimated!). Still no answer from them on the phone at 9:15 when it still wasn't here. The 'food' finally arrived at 9:27 with no apology from the delivery driver! A 2 hour wait is just unacceptable without apology or renumeration - for which we have been declined quoting they were busier than usual, however looking at their Just Eat reviews now this is a VERY common problem, so they seem to always be busy but can't handle it. Close to takeaway if you are letting people down this much! I only wish I had looked at tour reviews before ordering. After waiting for 2 hours you expect the food to taste good but we were bitterly disappointed. My 'Fiery' rice was luke warm and had huge clumps of rice still white, with no flavour to it at all! The sushi tasted old and worried us to eat more than 1 piece each as we thought after waiting so long that it was not fresh. The calamari was honestly the worst I have ever had, and the bowl was mostly full of carrot with only 4 small pieces, so even if it had tasted nice it was a very poor portion size. I could go on and on, it was honestly the worst takeaway I have ever experienced and it all went into the bin. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Iso sushi are a joke and everytime I receive an unsolicited spam text from them I shall be giving a different branch a 1 star review. Stop spamming me with texts and you won't receive bad reviews from me. Easy, that.

Great food! The only thing I have is that the delivery from justeat is nearly always late. I don't think it's the restaurant's fault tho, and I don't mind waiting, but too many times the order is postponed. Oh and the loaded katsu fries used to be full bowl always but now it's just a half of the bowl for some reason. Regardless of that I recommend eating here :-).

Ordered takeout. 16 piece mixed sushi and katsu curry. 2 of my go to dishes for here. Must say for the first time I was slightly disappointed. The sushi rice seemed overcooked and spoiled the texture and enjoyment of the sushi. The Katsu curry was tasteless in my opinion. I know there is an option to add ‘extra spice’ but it needs more overall flavour. It was always great. Not sure what’s changed. I will be eating here again though. This is only the first time I’ve been unhappy with my food.

Just had a takeaway from this restaurant. Rarely leave a review. We ordered the Salmon box and Katsu curry. I would not recommend the salmon sushi since the salmon on the nigiri is sliced unevenly and very thin, what makes it worse was that the rice underneath was so soggy and some of them was uncooked. The Katsu chicken was crunchy, not too dried but the taste of the curry was slightly different from what I got from all other Japanese restaurants. Understanding that takeaway can’t truly represent the taste of the restaurant but the rice is unacceptable. Price is cheap for what you could get.

Whats happened to this place, it’s had a total staff change and never been the same since. How to ruin a business in one move. I’ve lived in Wolverhampton all my life and can converse with most people, I couldn’t understand the staff. Such a shame. I ordered a takeaway and had to wait 15 minutes after the time I specified. The food wasn’t like it used to be. I used to come here every few weeks, I’ve left it a few months to see if it improved but it hasn’t. Can’t see me going back. Gutted.

I have ordered many times from Iso Sushi and each experience has been great. Tonight I had the teriyaki chicken noodles, chilli chicken bao buns and mango ice cream mochi. Each item was exceptional. Carefully packaged, so tasty, and amazing quality. I also usually order salmon sushi and the doriyaki pancakes which are also always amazing. Even if the food has sometimes taken a tiny bit longer than expected they have always called up to apologise which is amazing customer service. I love this place and will definitely continue to order from you guys!

Placed an order for collection, have eaten in and taken away in the past but never been too impressed, only really order for sushi everything else is never great. It's been a year or so but decided to try it as I'd received a text with an offer. We ordered for the whole family and we were very disappointed, the katsu was burnt underneath, the sushi was soggy, half the chicken in the burger was missing. There was so much wrong with that meal. I called and complained the same night but was told the manager was not in and to call back or to take his mobile number to call him. I said I wasn't after a refund I just wanted to let them know the food wasn't very good and most of it did not get eaten. Safe to say we won't be ordering from there again!

Went here today at lunch time 1st time and must say the service was 10/10 lady served us so polite food on time, as was not sure about few things on the menu lady explained well which then we ordered and was so tasty. Will be definitely be going back order. Nice warm welcome the decor was also so beautiful.

If you’re looking for sushi and Japanese in India or Pakistan. This is the place for you. Not authentic at all. And it made me sick upon returning home. Service was awful. Food was just terrible the tempura had lots of batter the gyozas were cold inside deep fried on the out. Sushi rice was hot. Chilli chicken was just a shambles and the noodles are not udon and they taste like something out of a masala packet. The best part they gave satchets of soy sauce. They did not have a bottle of soy sauce. The waitress handed 3 satchets and looked at me as if I had asked her for a kidney when I requested a bottle instead. Please do not fall for the reviews or TikTok. Save your money. And stomachs.

I went to ISO sushi and dined in for the first time today. First of all the service was fast and quick and staff were very friendly. I ordered sushi (x8 salmon, x8 chicken) it was beautiful, tasted so fresh and the sushi rolls were a very decent size. I also ordered salmon and beef nigiri which were both nice and finally i ordered a wagyu burger which was so Juicy! Cant wait to go again!

I visited Iso Sushi in Wolverhampton, Chapel Ash, on Friday, August 16th, 2024, and I am utterly disgusted by the experience. My wife and I ordered two noodle dishes and one chili chicken. The food arrived at 6:35 pm, but the chili chicken was cold. We returned the dish, and as the waitress took it back to the kitchen, we distinctly heard talking followed by a plate smashing. Five minutes later, the chili chicken was returned to us on a different plate, completely stripped of its garnish. Halfway through the meal, my wife found a sharp piece of ceramic in her mouth—the exact color of the plate that had shattered. This was not only alarming but downright dangerous! When I asked to speak with the manager, I was met with staff who could barely understand my concerns. I specifically asked if the food had been picked up off the floor and served to us, but they seemed clueless. I then requested to view the CCTV footage, only to be informed that the manager wasn’t available to come to the restaurant that day and that he would contact me the following day. Well, it’s almost midday, and I have yet to receive any contact from the management. This blatant disregard for customer safety and satisfaction is beyond unacceptable. I have submitted a formal complaint to the Wolverhampton City Council because this restaurant clearly poses a serious health hazard. We left feeling appalled, sickened, and deeply concerned for anyone else who might dine here. Avoid this place at all costs!

I've been here a few times now, and here's a summary... The food quality - Can't complain, the food quality correlates well with the price that you pay. Vibe - It's nice, especially the tinted windows; giving the impression from the inside of a cosy nook. Service - Unfortunately poor, if the wait time for food is more than 20 minutes you should really advise the customer at the time of order. I've unfortunately also noticed that the Asian front of house female assistant (slightly heavier build) is extremely slow without reason. The more recent example that comes to mind is when we asked for the bill, she acknowledged the request and proceeded to be in a casual conversation with the coworkers for over 5 minutes, it's only when we stood up and walked to her, did we see that she had already printed the bill at the counter but was obviously in no rush to walk over to us.

I rarely leave Google reviews, I work in a Japanese restaurant, so I understand the working environment. I don’t leave bad review unless it’s really bad. I really wanted to have Japanese cuisine today. so I found this restaurant that had good reviews on Google, and the owner responds to comments. We arrived at around 12:10 PM, and Google listed the opening time as 12:00 PM, but the door was still locked, and we thought the restaurant might be closed today. The restaurant looks nice. But the staff don’t look like they are ready to work. Ramen: The noodles were overcooked and too soft. Sushi: The rice was too wet, which is not how sushi rice should be. The ratio of salmon to rice in the salmon sushi roll was incorrect. The soy sauce for the sushi is also wrong. I saw reviews mentioning that the service was great, but unfortunately, we didn't experience that today. The food was served, but there were no chopsticks or utensils on the table. I came here because I read reviews saying the food was great, so we drove twenty minutes to get here. However, after coming here, I really don't understand why the ratings are so high. During our meal, a few customers came in for takeout, so I believe it has its own regular customers, but the sushi and ramen we ordered today were really disappointing. I'm certain that anyone who makes food like this has never tasted real Japanese sushi and Raman. If you're like me will check reviews before trying a restaurant, I hope you see this review.

First time ordering and I'm on the fence the bao bun was really tasty never had one before the sushi however was particularly unpleasant had a very strong fishy taste and smell although it was meat not fish the rice was not good and barely any filling I doubt I'd order again as my tummy is a little sore now the morning after Shame I was looking forward to it especially as it cost 30 quid for a very small amount of food not a great experience really

Went in to eat here but had a big bulky pushchair and a baby so ordered to takeaway. While we waited for the order we had some freshly made prawn crackers. We ordered a large platter thinking we could eat everything between 2 of us. It was very filling. The sushi platter was amazing and would definitely recommend.

Our first time here and we loved it! The service was great and we enjoyed our experience. Really good customer service and we felt comfortable straight away.

It is very cold in the restaurant so had to keep our coats on when eating inside. It could be cold due to the Uber eats drivers constantly opening the door and leaving it wide open once entering and leaving the restaurant. The food is nice but definitely not a relaxing environment to eat in.
