Another lovely meal on Friday at 3 crowns. Mixed grill delicious 😋 Sag aloo so creamy. Had a bit of a kick this week.

Plenty to choose from on the menu, food was lovely and was decent priced!

I’m not an avid fan of Indian cuisine however the quality of the food here is astonishing for the price . Flavoursome and delicious. The manager Sandeep is engaging enthusiastic and really cares about ensuring you have a first class experience. I have no hesitation in recommending this little gem

One of the best nepalese Indian restaurant in Wolverhampton because very efficient service and delicious food, specially chicken jalfrezi and lamb rogan gosh. I would like to come again with my friends and i hope you guys will keep doing this amazing job. Thanks for making our day.

Awful awful experience cannot find the words to describe how awful. Cane with good intentions and better expectations. Wanted to enjoy a lovely dining experience with my two beautiful children. I arrived earlier than booking expecting to have drinks whilst waiting for our table. We were surprisingly seated soon as we arrived but offered an undesirable table set in the middle of the walkway right next to the bar and kitchen. We asked on 3/4 occasions to be seated elsewhere as not suitable and felt extremely uncomfortable. I had to talk loud to be heard over the extreme noise and the female member of staff asked me to calm down. I was so insulted as I wasn’t even irrational. She failed to reseat us no matter how many times we asked and finally promised to move us to a more suitable table adjacent to where we sat if the expected booking did not arrive by 7:30pm although they were booked for 7pm. 7:40pm reached and no one arrived to take the table and soon later our food was served. We were never reseated as promised and the member of staff avoided any eye contact with me there after. The evening was absolutely awful with me having to sit and eat with my handbag in my lap as I had now where to place it and I certainly wasn’t going to place it on the filthy floor. Constantly had people brushing pas and my sons chair being knocked and dozens of young children running circles around our table, hence why I asked to be moved. The food was not great at all to make up for anything and I just wanted to leave asap. No additional drinks nor desert as I would have expected to have as I felt completely and utterly out of my comfort zone. The whole evening was spent with my husband and children apologising for the bad experience and I cant express enough to them that the poor experience was not on them, it was all on the restaurant and poor customer service or complete lack of customer service. I have dined at many restaurants throughout my life and hand on heart have never found myself needing to leave a review for bad or poor experience it has always been to praise the customer service and excellent dining experience. I know I will never return to this place ever again, I definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Wonderful experience, from start to finish. The food arrived relatively quickly and you could taste it was made fresh. All the interactions with the staff were excellent. No bad things to say. Will definitely be coming back.

I had high expectations as i was coming on my brothers recommendation. It was so disappointing. 1. We weren't told that we had to order from the bar on arrival. 2. The food took ages. Which I would understand if it was busy but when we came in it wasn't. Which meant it was lukewarm. 3. A big table came in and was swearing and shouting at the top of their voices. We could hear them but not the people on our own table. The problem was we could see the staff looking at them obviously knowing there was a problem but didn't say anything. Ruined our night. 4. The staff. Yes polite, 1 particular. We asked for a food bag to take our food home in. He said no..... then laughed and said yes. OK. The first time we will humour your joke but he did it with all the interactions we had. Can we have some cutlery? No... yes, I'm just joking. Can you take some plates away otherwise we will be eating on our laps? No. I'm just joking. It was relentless..

One of the the best curry place's

I often travel up to the area from north Devon and always make this one of my evenings out. The staff are always friendly and the food is always really good. I absolutely love a good lamb Pathia which isn’t actually on the menu but I have asked for this and it’s been no trouble at all and it’s by far the best Pathia I’ve had anywhere and I’ve tried a lot.

Great food, great service, great place. Had mixed grill and it was plenty. Chicken tikka masala had lots of chicken in it and filled the dish, plenty to share. Nan breads were piping hot and obviously just been made fresh. A little dearer than others in the area but well worth it. Food was brought out promptly and plates cleared quickly. Drinks were lovely too. It does get very busy so best to book in advance.

First visit. ☝🏼 Seated at 7pm and served at 9.30pm. 😟 I was then served my starter and main course together, who has that? … and they got the starter wrong. 😳 I ordered lamb samosas and I got vegetarian 🤢 I ordered a chicken saag and tandoori roti which was OK but nothing special. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Decor and atmosphere was average. If I hadn’t of been with friends I’d have walked out after waiting an hour. 🕗 I eat out a lot and this wasn’t a good experience for me 😕 I received a 10% discount 😅

My son brought here for meal.hes being here a few times already and recommended us comming here.we came with the grandkids there were 6 of us.were greeted by freindly smiling faces when we walked in.we ordered mix grill for starter and kids had chicken tikka with chips .it was freshely cooked and tastes lovely.authentic flavours and it was chicken breast not chicken thign like some places where its cheaper cuts of meat.the beer was fresh and of a good grade.ww ordered several curries for main course.each dish had different flavours of sauce to complement the dish.the flavours were lovely compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.we definitely return again in the near future.

Brilliant Nepalese/Indian food pub - I went on a week night when they have an excellent offer - large mixed grill, 2 sides and a curry for £29.99! Fresh pint (Stella). Very friendly and attentive service, good seating and plenty of secure parking around the back. I had the gurkha lamb curry which was rich and tasty with tender lamb and a thick curry sauce, with garlic and coriander naan which was cooked perfectly. I also had chilli chips (they use fries which are my favourite) and the grill is stacked with plenty of lamb chops, seekh kebabs, tandoori chicken breast and wings and fish pakora's.

Just come back from the 3 crowns and i must say what a meal we have just had.bloody gorgeous. We had wings and chilli chicken to start then chicken korma and chicken balti with mushroom rice. Great value for money and one of the tastiest Indian meals ive ever had. Well done team.

Chicken Satay was the best I've ever had. Lamb dish wasn't quite as good, but still nice

Would recommend. Food is good and tasty, its a bit on the expensive side, but with large portions, the place was very busy and noisy. A bit of a longish wait on the food coming to your table.

A little variation in food, which is good. Generous portions compared to our local restaurant, so it's the 3 crowns from now on

Love this place even though its a 20 min drive from my house but its worth it. The staff a kind and the food is so tasty and the prices are reasonable. The carpark is around the back of the pub and its a good size so can accommodate a large crowd, one end of the pub is dining and the other is a old school pub bar area with a pool table plus there are large screens scattered around to play sport's which may be on.

First visit and wow extensive menu tried the Achari Chicken as a taster beautifully cooked moist and tender bursting with great taste of spices. Try the Tawa dishes 😋

Went on Saturday night on my retirement party for 9 people. Booking table wasn't problem. Mixed Grills and Mains where very good and plentiful . Staff member where helpful to. Just had good evening out.

Amazed by the The Crowns. I've wanted to come here for a while as I'd heard it was good. Blown a way by the food and all very reasonably priced. Service could have been a bit quicker but they were very busy and every table was full. It didn't detract from the overall experience though.

One of the worst places I've been for a mix grill the food was bland not even any salt when you get a mix grill you expect it have chilli added but nothing . The sauces tray they bring out was left out by the entrance door then served to customers .

Very disappointed. I've been visiting the Three Crowns for a number of years and always been very happy with their food and service. the staff weren't particularly friendly when I ordered our food. I ordered three mixed grills and a chicken tikka masala. Then to my surprise, they brought it out within four of five minutes. There's no way they cooked it fresh. The Chicken Tikka and shish kebabs were so dry we couldn't eat it. It was obvious that this hadn't been prepared fresh and was more likely a day or two old, having just been warmed up. The member of staff brought out one set of dips for us all to share which wasn't nearly enough. I had to ask three times for extra dips. In the end I had to get up to find the waiter to remind him again. It's not like they were busy, he was more preoccupied on his mobile phone. We ended up leaving most of our food it was that bad. I don't know what's gone wrong, but I wont be going back.

Read some bad reviews however thought I'd try it as we all have different veiws well I'm glad I did loved the food the only gripe for me was that it's a bit more pricey than other places

Very disappointed by this one. Had high hopes as heard good things. We ordered the large grill (£20), chilli chips, butter chicken, garlic Naan and chicken aachari starter. The chilli chips were terrible. Thin fries covered in ketchup and a bit of chilli powder. The butter chicken really annoyed us as they served us a chicken korma with butter on top melted into the sauce. It was truly a disgrace. The sauce had a strong nutty taste. So it was definitely a korma. It was also too light to be butter chicken. The aachari starter was ok. The main disappointment was the grill itself. They kebabs tasted rubbery like cheap Indian sweet center kebabs. The wings also tasted a day old. They made the mistake of using breast over thigh for the tikka. It was very dry. The lamb chop was also thin and over cooked. The fish pakora was ok. The onions and the Naan couldn't save it as the Naan got cold rather fast and was very thin compared to other pubs. It's very nice inside here. If you come just have a drink and leave. The food is no good. Maybe the Nepali only food is better. However the Indian food and mixed grill is terrible. This is probably the worst grill experience I've had in wolves. Very disappointing. Please do better. Won't be coming back.

Fantastic food and customer service. One of the best pub restaurants in Wolverhampton. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. They’ll do whatever they can if you’ve not booked and they’re fully booked. Atmosphere is relaxed and family oriented. Their salt and pepper chicken and Lamb Rara are my favourites, but they have a variety of dishes for everyone. Big car park and outside benches. Highly recommend!

First off a good selection of beers lagers and soft drinks. Friendly staff who are welcoming and friendly. Then there is the great choice of dishes that I consider before ordering a mixed grill and curry 🤣🤣 Highly rated 👍

Keep up the good work guys thumbs-up 👍 How things have changed since my last Google positive review of May 2021 Move on April 2023 drinks menu with no price list? A 175ml small glass of red wine for £6. You get a medium/ larger glass for that price at high end pubs. Staff thought it was funny that I questioned why they don't put prices on the drink menu. Nice way to alienate your customers. I call it a robbery. Won't be back in a rush.

Really great service and exceptional quality food. Definitely worth visiting.

Room for improvement. Been a few times now. Salt and pepper chicken is something different and a must try. The food was spot on the other day however I had a takeaway chicken jalfrazi which let us down for my husband who couldn't make it. Too spicy and too much masala. Cocktails on tap arnt bad either.

I am a regular customer here, and I can honestly say I have not found any indian restaurant as good as three crowns!! Food at three crowns is always 10/10 I have brought friends/family here and they have also loved the food😋😋😋 Still on the hunt to find restaurant that is as good as here 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Food is always so nice here, tastes extremely high quality in comparison to rival Mixys in Wolverhampton. The crispy wings and fish pakora is what makes it stand out, however considering the high prices the portions could be a bit bigger but despite this I still award Three Crowns a 5* rating. The staff are immaculate in their service also, always extremely friendly and welcoming creating a perfect environment for a get together to go watch a match.

We had a takeaway delivery. Wasn’t warm on arrival. Very disappointing. Food was bland and overpriced. Couldn’t spot a single vegetable in my lamb Rogan Josh. Chicken tikka masala was far too sweet. I’ve had better Indian food from the Co Op.

Gobsmacked! This was my local 'pub' years ago (30+). Its been through many guises since then and we moved away. Had an opportunity to return this evening for a post church service meal and boy was it good!. Asian cuisine at its finest to rival any restaurant. Friendly welcoming atmosphere, good food and drinks and superbly attentive service. How did we not know about this gem. On our calendar for a monthly visit from now on. If you haven't tried it yet, don't waste any more time. Stop by and try. You'll not be disappointed. Highly recommended by us.
