In a party of about 12 people, no one had any complaints. Food was excellent and served in a timely manner. The stand out for me though was the service. Nothing was to much trouble. The head waiter/manager looked after us really well and made the dining experience much more enjoyable. Recommend and will definitely return.

Indian food for British taste buds If you want authentic Indian food, don’t go here. Portion sizes were quite small and bland. Chilli naan (which was supposed to be SAVOURY AND SPICY) was sweet?!

Had the chicken tikka balti and keema naan it was the best I've ever had absolutely amazing and the staff and owners are just out of this world helpful 👌

Booked table for 8 oclock. At 8-45 still hadn't taken our order. We called staff over and was told it was the barman's fault he hadn't taken order. A waitress took order and at 9-20 we was still waiting. We told them 5 more minutes if food isn't here we're leaving. It did come out and was nice but when you are hungry anything is nice. When bill came out we noticed the deposit of £60 that we had paid on booking had not been taken off bill so it had to be adjusted. They also done same thing to my son's and their partners. (I wonder how many times that's been done and the customer not realised BEWARE). Will never go back there again as staff need a lesson on customer service as none of them looked like they wanted to be there. Absolutely shocking experience

Poppodums and starters were fine, tikka masala a bit sweet and vegetable balti had no spice, more like a Heinz big soup. However, great atmosphere and decor, maybe we'll make better choices next time.

I don’t usually make reviews on google but I think that it’s fully necessary to share my awful experience which I had at this restaurant. I went for dinner with my bf and we ordered the sharing platter which from the presentation, it looked different from what it looks like on the website of the restaurant. The plate wasn’t actually for two people but for one person. As a customer which is looking for quality not quantity, what made me rate it with one star isn't this, but the fact that despite this, the food had 0 spices (really strange to say this for an Indian restaurant) and also was very dry. I felt like they just put in the plate what they had, and ignored the items which they didn’t have. I expressed my concern to the manager and all he did was walk away and didn’t see him anymore. Also seeing waitress looking us from the door of the kitchen and straight away coming to the table to take the things away as soon as possible, even though there was plenty of time for the restaurant to be closed, made me feel not welcome. Had to choose in the rush and leave in the rush. A good try from them to give good customer service, but the food tells the opposite. Definitely wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it for anybody.

To high prices, you don’t get what you pay and food not that gd.

First time visiting but not the last, the food and service were excellent and the restaurant although small was not cramped and the added extra of live acoustic music added to an enjoyable evening, not the cheapest but if you want an enjoyable experience go here

What an absolutely fantastic Sunday evening we had at Zomma!!! The food was nothing short of incredible! The freshest ingredients in our prawn starter dish & lamb shank main! The staff were so attentive at all times; they just couldn’t do enough for you. As for the atmosphere, JUST WOW!!!The best saxophone player performed the greatest tunes all night long and you just couldn’t help but to dance in your seat :) the whole experience was just top notch and we can’t wait to return :)

Was waiting over 2 hours to be serviced with food still didn't arrive. Have 3 young children with us, so we just walked out and left. I had to get food elsewhere and definitely won't be coming here again you would be better off going to mcdonald's

Excellent Sandhurst beef curry. Tried it when it first came on the menu years ago when we were passing on our boat. Been dying to get back to see if it really was as good as I remembered, it was and the place has been done up really nicely since my first visit too. A1.

Ordered the dhaka murgh bhuna and chicken balti. Balti was really poor - extremely bland and watery, lacking any depth of flavour at all. The bhuna was marginally better, but again, no depth of flavour. Really disappointing.

Had an early evening meal with 2 young children and the team couldn't have been more helpful and friendly making the whole experience very enjoyable. The food was very good and reasonably priced with a good selection of drinks to go with it. Atmosphere was good for half 5 on a Wednesday, and I imagine it'll be a lot more vibrant at a weekend. Recommend!!

Always consistently great food, nuce atmosphere, lovely staff. Always love going & for us it's well worth the 90 mile round trip to get there.

Abysmal. The biryani was so salty it was inedible. Nobody in the house could stand more than a forkful, not even the dog would eat it and he's the equivalent of a compost bin. The Naan bread was freezing cold too. This isn't a cheap restaurant either. Just Eat wouldn't refund us for the biryani because taste is subjective- I'd be happy to have this subjected to sodium testing.

My first time at Zooma. Food was good, but it would have been very good if it wasn't soo sweet. Service - very good, and the staff were lovely. Atmosphere was OK, but the music along with the raised voices of the clientele wasn't a good mix. Nevertheless, will go again & try & pre-order my meals without suger/sweeteners. 😋

Just been and spent a wonderful evening at Zooma in Compton Wolverhampton. Took my beautiful wife on a date night to the perfect place. Had popadoms for starters, with onion salad and mint sauce, followed by melt in your mouth Achari Lamb with well done plain Nan and pilau rice. It really was magnificent food and the staff were so lovely and curteous. Big thank you to Imran too for looking after us as always. Can't wait for the next time and if you are thinking of going you will not get better. feeling well blessed.

I came here with my partner on Monday and we had an excellent evening. Imran and Shabz were very welcoming hosts and really made us feel special. My partner ordered a Palak Paneer curry and I ordered a Mirchi Naga; both dishes were delicious and left us in no doubt that a second visit was on the cards. We were even allowed to order a cocktail from their unreleased menu, which was also amazing! Even after we'd settled up and paid, the staff were still going the extra mile and asking us if we'd like them to take our photos! Honestly can't put down in words just how friendly and personable they were! Thank you Zooma for giving us a wonderful time!

Had a fantastic meal with family, we were given the best service and nothing was too much trouble . We had a great host and , as ever the food was of the highest quality and cooked to perfection.

It was an enjoyable experience eating here. The restaurant is finished to a high standard, complete with lots of artwork themed around musicians. The front of house gave us a warm welcome and the other staff paid us a lot of attention. There are cheaper places out there, but they do a weekday deal where you can have a selection of a starter, main and a rice or naan for around £13 so there is something to fit everyone's budget. We went in the week and it wasn't too busy, but I would book for the weekend.

Only reason this gets 5 stars is there are not 6. Food, people, staff, the place itself, faultless. One observation if you are going, be aware it's up a flight of stairs. No issues for us but others might struggle. Well worth a visit.

The food, drinks and hospitality at Zooma is second to none, our hosts are always more than accomodating whether it is a private meal or family event and the interior decor is gorgeous - a true gem and I would give six stars if I could. Connor

We visited Zooma for our first meal out in 6 months and it was worth the wait! Best King Prawn on Puri I have ever tasted, and the main courses lived up to the starter. We loved the atmosphere and the decor and artwork. Superb service, will definitely be back soon.

We had an excellent dining experience at Zooma yesterday evening. The food was delicious and the service by the staff was carried out very professionally. The atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing with excitement and the decor is delightful. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. We are definitely returning.

Really enjoyed our recent experience from Zooma, friendly staff, easy collection. Food was great! I'm not too sure where this criticism regarding hygiene is coming from, it's got a 5 star hygiene rating outside? Look out for the Hotel Footpath curry, my favourite! Absolutely recommended

Took my family for my mum's birthday as visited twice before and enjoyed it There was not enough staff and this caused friction between them which was visible from restaurant floor which looked unprofessional. We had to send two meals back as they were not hot and naan bread order as it was incorrect. Such a shame as such a lovely environment and food usually good. Aaron behind the bar was lovely and his cocktails exceptional,he didn't stop whilst We were there but Manager just kept shouting at him and other member of staff. I will not be rushing back. NEED more staff and to be grateful to those who are working so hard!

We had a takeaway this evening from Zooma for the first time and have to say it was very disappointing, at least we have tried it, now back to Masala Club takeaway!

Very nice Indian restaurant, with lovely attentive staff. Restaurant is on the first floor of a shopping precinct and can get very loud when full. Food was excellent quality, delicately spiced and reasonably priced. Will go again.

Had a takeaway tonight. First time we have used this restaurant. My partner, a big curry fan said the sandurst beef he had was one of the best curry he's had in his 63 years! My chicken tikka biryani was delicious too. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely return. Debbie Turner

Wanted to try this place having heard lovely things about it. Decided to have a take away so called to order. Started to place my order (from items on the menu nothing out of the ordinary) the first three things I tried to order he advised they couldn’t do and after asking what they could do he then had to go and ask someone I gave up. Not a good customer service experience, I hope for there sake that the food is better!

The food was amazing, I had the lamb rezala and it melted in your mouth, best Indian I've been to and I've been to some excellent ones. The service was superb and atmosphere was perfect. Definitely recommend.

Driving up from London , means this restaurant needed to be good !!! And wow , living up to all the expectations and most importantly of all truly fantastic food ... The decor is stunning, staff friendly professional and eager to please the atmosphere is relaxed and great fun ... Zooma is a true delight and knocks the socks off anything Fulham or Chelsea has to offer ... Its worth the journey and please give it a go ... Nick Fellows.

Perhaps some of the negative reviewers are more used to dining at McDonlad's, than in a classy, fine dining establishment? Of which there are very few, other than the Cow Shed in the area. This food is awesome as are the ambinance and staff. Two thumbs up give it a try!

Have dined here a couple off times now and can highly recommend. Beautiful decor, love the artwork, fantastic bar area, ideal for a pre dinner aperitif. Friendly and attentive staff. Our food was delicious on both occasions. I tried the coconut king prawn, and the Murgh Bhuna, both delicious and my husband had the Lamb Methi Gosht which he loved. Looking forward to returning.

Last night was my first visit to Zooma, the decor is amazing, with fabulous art on the wall. I also have to say the food matched the look of the restaurant. I was visiting Wolverhampton from London. Amazing venue.

Just back from a great meal at Zooma with the family, good to see the old team back together with some new faces. We received a lovely friendly welcome from the staff, who couldn’t do enough to make our night a comfortable one. It was good to see some old favourites on the menu, and my particular favourite the Murge Massala was even better than ever with the twist of added lamb. Food & wine(if you like white the Chenin Blanc is worth a try!) was well priced and the new decor is a welcome change. Will definitely be back!!
