The worst Biryani i have ever had, just rice, a hard boiled egg and thin strips of chicken tikka - where was the veg to call this a special biryani and charge me extra for it, was, audacious and untrue. The last 3 curries ordered from this establishment were poor and certainly lacking in substance and flavour - very low standards. Sack the cook and employ one who has knowledge of authentic indian cooking

This is no longer roopanar it is now Yousufs and the food is ok when it finally arrives we waited over 2 hours it finally arrived with a mumbled apology from the driver, they need to learn customer relations a phone call to explain they had a shortage staff would be courtesy we won’t order from them again I shouldn’t have to chase them up several times

This has to be the poorest excuse for an indian takeaway i have ever known the food is vile, The chef needs to go look at the recent reviews. When we walked in it was a cold unwelcoming experience waiting for the slop to be cooked. Tasteless watery, hardly any chicken and what there was was disgusting. How this place is still trading is beggars belief. Used to be a great place now the worst takeaway restaurant i have ever known.

We had chicken korma and chicken Tikka masala, neither of which tasted like they should. It was edible but not great. My peshwari naan was very dry and had a powderlike substance in it. I had to mix my naan w the korma sauce just to eat it, it was that dry. Rice was Luke warm. Will be ordering again.

Been several times before and always been very good but Saturday's meal was very poor. Vegetable Dansak made out of frozen mixed veg. This was bad enough but the bill for two vegetable meals at £9.95 each, one rice, one chapati and a raita came to £39. My friend took bill so could not work out why it was so expensive, then when I came home and looked up their menu discovered that they charge 95p per poppadum plus 95p per tiny serving of chutney etc so our 5 poppadum's cost £9.00 !!! Will not be returning

Beautiful clean restaurant, friendly staff, good service but above all the food was outstanding we couldn't fault it. We love going for a curry when we go on weekends away and this was by far in our top 3! Also the size on the portions & reasonable price are winners

Absolutely love the Tudor Raj and will always go when down visiting family in Sodbury or at least get a take out. Delicious food and great service. Nice little touches such as being gifted a rose gifted at the end of the meal. Highly recommend to any curry fans!
