Sadly, I wasn’t particularly impressed with our takeaway. The curry was quite bland so there wasn’t much taste to it. The rice, naan’s and popadoms were otherwise fine though! Service was good.

The food is flavourful but I don’t know whether chef has changed but the food that shouldn’t be spicy is really hot. I had an inedible tikka masala and it was too spicy, which it shouldn’t be spicy at all..it was lovely, but the past few times I have ordered from here the tikka masala and the bhuna have been far too spicy to enjoy..

Outstanding food but could do with more meat in the curry's

Take a way ordered and delivered via Ubereats. Absolutely terrible meal, wrong items delivered, Bhajis rock solid and cold, chicken curry supplied instead of lamb, and partners curry, both inedible. Had to phone and complain, offered to take back,referred back to Uber who have now fully refunded after 3 attempts 😔 . Have eaten regularly in restaurant usually very good, but now will be reluctant to return. Not sure what happened, new Chef ??

We dined at this restaurant a few weeks ago and ordered biryani and naan. It was some of the best Indian food we've had in a long time—absolutely delicious! We also tried the kebab platter, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A must-visit spot!

On time but I ordered a certain dish and although they stamped passandar on the lid, they sent me a korma. Very different dishes and I ended up leaving most of it despite trying to eat through.

Food wasn't as hot as it should have been considering there's a 5min drive between the restaurant and the house

This was for a pick up order to take away so no rating for atmosphere. The service was great, I rang on my way home to pick up on the way. Unfortunately though, I had butter lamb, and I was so disappointed in it. I literally could not chew or swallow the pieces of lamb. They were so full of gristle, and incredibly chewy. I did not actually swallow a piece of lamb, it was impossible. I gave the lot to my dogs and even one of them spat one of the pieces out because they could not chew it. A big thumbs down from us I’m afraid.

the sauce was all over the carry bag. so the food was dry and it was cold. when I looked on just eat it was saying the food was being prepped at time it should have been delivered and also that was saying the driver is waiting for the food. if that's the case how come the food was cold and very greasy.the time it would of taken from the restaurant to my house the food would still be hot so somewhere the driver went somewhere else?

Lovely meal with nice atmosphere. The staff were attentive. The menu had a great selection, with clear descriptions of each. We like to try new dishes, so this was great for that. The food came out promptly, without being rushed. It was all tasty, excellent portion size and piping hot. Sharing sides were served on a warmer to keep its temperature. Overall we were pleased and would recommend.

Food was almost cold on arrival. Seeing as we live so close, not sure how it could have got cold in the short car ride. Otherwise very tasty

The butter lamb was one of the worst dishes I've ever had. Weirdly sweet & grainy curry, and the lamb was quite rubbery. Not a fan of wasting food but couldn't eat much of this at all. Free papadum was a bonus, but couldn't save the abysmal quality of this dish.

Fabulous evening spent in the Pink garlic, staff very attentive, food was exemplary, we had the chicken shaslick, Tikka masala, Saag aloo, samosas, rice and naan bread. Cocktails Pina colada and Mojito. Highly recommended, good value for money.

Foods was lovely as when we come to the restaurant but unfortunately for just a short journey the curry was warm and the mixed grill was cold :(

Disgusting customer service. I’ve phoned Pink Garlic after TWO HOURS from placing my order. I’ve spoken to Abdulla (the owner) and told me that I am wasting his time. To think I’m his customer on the phone! I just wanted to know what happened to my order as I have paid for it already. Very rude. Not ordering from them again.

Takeaway: always absolute amazing! Such an amazing variety of food and we love to try new things which the pink garlic can offer. We've never dined in so is all based on takeaway. We've never received anything wrong that we've ordered.

Delivery driver knocked on my door and demanded PIN code in a menacing way

we ordered king prawn kashmir and cheese naan but received chicken kashmir and a plain naan. last time we ordered from here the order was wrong too. won't use again

sadly although the food was tasty, it was stone cold. Originally given an order time of 30 minutes the delivery arrived well after an hour.

Absolutely lovely meal. All 6 of us couldn't fault our food, the service and pricing . We were on vacation at millmeadow lodges ( flycatcher ). Staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic meal. There were 6 of us. No complaints from anyone. Very friendly staff , plenty of choice for food , fairly priced , would highly recommend. We are from Wales and staying in meadowmill lodges. Only 3.3 miles from site.

My husband and I went to Pink Garlic tonight to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary (we didn’t share that info though) The meal was honestly the best Indian meal we have had in the 4 years we’ve lived in Somerset. We couldn’t eat it all so we were given containers to take the rest home. Not a single thing we could fault. Thank you ☺️

tried to change delivery address as the app got the address wrong. wouldn’t let me change it even though 30/45 mins later my food arrived. said i had to ring the restaurant, where they were rude. just needed a address change.

Our favourite Indian restaurant. It's a 68 mile round trip for us but well worth it. The choice of food and quality of food is excellent, the staff are friendly and make the evening a very pleasant experience. We've been coming here for nearly 10 years and never been disappointed. We can honestly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Had a meal on a Monday in March. What a surprise, the meal was absolutely the best Indian 👌 that we have had for years. The restaurant was quite, but that's only to be expected at the time of the year. The deco is pleasing and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Not only was my order door stepped but no one knocked to inform me that it was left on my door step. So when I found it my food was cold and the food had leaked in my bag over everything

I had to edit it and give it 1 star from 5, as the food was so bad!!! My wife brought some of it home as take away and she became sick overnight. And then the next day the food started to smell. We used to go there as it's run by some nice Bangladeshi people but not anymore.

food timing on the order kept changing every time it got close to the delivery time, rang restaurant & the gentleman was rude, blaming us for using Just Eat, saying they take £55 from him, and he doesn't care if we are unhappy also said we had to complain to JustEat as it was all their fault. This Takeaway was for my wife's birthday, it was very disappointing & stone cold, while we were on the phone to the gentleman, he said our food was waiting an hour because there was no driver available.

Pink Garlic is the best curry that I have had in Taunton. It is authentic and tastes great. If your used to ordering from fast food curries you probably won't appreciate how good Pink Garlic is. I love their butter chicken and chicken madras. Oh and the mushroom rice. If you want a real curry go to pink Garlic it won't disappoint.

The food was horrible. The butter chicken was so sweet that it tasted like pudding.

Worst experience ever, when we entered in pink garlic and we all sat together then waitress came and gave us menu after 1 minute he came again, he asked are you ready to order we said no, after 5 minutes he came again i said can you wait please do you have some patience or not after that owner came he said are you ready now they are headache, after they ignored us when we were ready to order they didn't listened us. After food we said can we have bill please, then we checked the prices, prices were totally different from menu to main bill we said to the owner that what's that the prices are not matching with menu prices he said this menu is 15 years old we said then it's not our fault you have to update it, even he also said you guys are 4 people so you have to order 4 main dishes but you guys didn't. It's our choice to order food it's not their choice. Bad experience ever, bad service, food not good. Everything is totally ridiculous. Do not visit in here, it's money wastage.

Order took over an hour and a half. Original estimation should have been 20-30 mins. Kept getting new estimated delivery times. Food finally arrived cold. Worst service I've received

The initial delivery time was 19:00. The time kept changing and we got it at about 20:15. We ordered at 18:30.

I’m not one to normally leave a review. But on this occasion I feel compelled. Last night I had a takeaway from this restaurant and I can safely say it was the worst curry I have ever eaten in my whole 38 years on this planet. It looked horrific and tasted like someone had dropped a bottle of salt in it. I don’t think I will be returning.
