food is terrible! not traditional! only tikka meat! they have no clue how to cook! with ur frozen chipati's from daily needs! this place is pulling the wool over your eyes! go eat a real Indian!

Took just over 1hr 45 to be delivered. Missing an item. Quality not as good as usual - chicken dry. Usually we love it here but disappointed tonight

I have used this Indian Takeaway for the past 15 years and the quality never fails to deliver on taste. Portion sizes are excellent and have absolutely no complaints over the spicing. Good value for money and courteous staff

This place used to be great. But has really gone downhill. Rude on the phone, almost commanding me to pay cash. Then when ordering 30 pounds of food, quering about Yogurt sauce as on menu, " no you pay extra" then to find just 4 small pieces of chicken in each curry is such a let down. Sad to say we won't be going back.

orderd something different chicken Pathia totally tasteless bland chicken in tomato sauce Luke warm and popadoms horrible small and tasteless lemon rice tastes of very little effort my wife always convinces me to give them another go I do not know why they have such high ratings the last few times have been a total disappointment shame on them not only are they late we get charged for delivery for the privilege even though we live in Wellington £30 of absolute rubbish

The delivery driver was polite and kind and on time. Sadly the app wasn’t updated so it still showed as order received when it was delivered! I’ve had this meal before and this was not of a good standard. It was far too spicy and sloppy. A disappointing biryani too. A real shame because I’ve alsways had good food from here but not tonight.

I've lived in Wellington for 30 years and never had a takeaway from Show Spice! A friend treated me, we phoned and ordered a takeaway to collect on a Friday evening, it was ready exactly on time - very friendly service when I arrived. All the food was hot and really tasty, we had a nice mix of curries, rices, nans, sides and poppadums as there were kids in the equation too. Very good value around £45, good sized portions with some left over for us to enjoy tomorrow. Would highly recommend.

Food arrived 20 mins late to what just eat specified. The food was watery and very unappetising. Tikka masala should be creamy and thick, but this looked more like mashed tomatoes consistency. The other dishes were definitely not up to a good curry house standard. We spent £78 on our curries as a special occasion and were very disappointed and feel it was a waste of money

Really not happy with such a long wait for delivery so didn’t enjoy meal as not good at eating that late at night

1 hour late missing items after 2 phone calls waiting for a refund on missing items will update review when refund is submitted also £2.00 delivery charge should be refunded after 1hr wait .

One of the best Indian takeaways I've had in a long time. Lots of flavour, well cooked, delivered in good time, such a good price as well. Definitely would recommend. EDIT: Guy who answers the phone is very rude, probably won't order again as he scared me a little bit.

The tables have turned… when we arrived in Wellington 8 years ago, the competition across the road had the awards and service to match… but their standards have fallen, and ShowSpice have raised their game - this evenings take away was excellent! Definitely worthy of being called the best curry in town 👍🏼

This was the first order I have made with show spice for quite some time (i have been ordering from there competition) I was not disappointed, the food was absolutely delicious, arrived on time with a smile. I will be ordering my curry’s from here for the foreseeable future…

Korma delivered instead of madras, added lots of chillies to try and spice it up, but just not great. Overcooked chicken yet cold on delivery, doughey naan. Poppadoms and rice fine, but won't be returning, stick with Tamarind Bay

Everything was great apart from they delivered plain rice instead of the pilau I ordered.

Ordered chicken Kashmiri, chicken tikka masala, chips and 2 naan breads. Order came in allocated time but was freezing cold, chips soggy and hardly any chicken. Naans we’re that cold that the cheese wasn’t even melted.

rice was nice, but everything else was a bit strange in taste and nothing to write home about, ate because we were hungry as we ordered at half 6, and food came at 8:20, despite claiming it would be there at 7:30 after a few push backs of time

I’ve had many meals from Show Spice and for the first time we were both disappointed, the lamb was tough and grisly, the dog got half of it. I wouldn’t recommend this dish, very disappointing.

The chicken tikka starter was under cooked and put us off eating really , we Oder often from here and was really disappointed, did get a refund on the tikka starter but my partner went hungry as the tikka was a main dinner for him ,

Ordered food for three people, order delivered after 45 mins. Incorrect order received chicken rogan josh should have been lamb, boiled rice not pilau. They said communication issue agreed to re send. Rest oc order correct but barely warm. Re order received lamb Rogan josh but boiler rice AGAIN! Called again greeted by a very rude man stating that we were wrong not them. Do not recommend and will not be ordering from them again. Overall food was only passable!

Food was good ,arrive on time they said but it was very cold ,the only thing warm was nam ,if it was late that would explain it but on time you would expect it hot 😒very disappointed

Unfortunately received the wrong naan bread. Chicken was lovely and tender in the curry! Delivery driver was pretty rude but maybe he got out of bed the wrong way!

Really disappointed. Was a bit late, cold, the korma was tasteless and the lamb was so tough we gave up on it. The onion bahji's went in the bin as they tasted stale, as well as being cold. The nan bread was the best thing we ordered, if only because it was still warm!
