Delivery is shocking 1hour and 45 minutes later. We were quoted 1 hour maximum, so bad. Food is only ok, it’s changed hands. It is different....

Had a amazing meal, we have a big family so ordered 6 meals with rices and starters. We picked it up so had a awesome discount and then got given a lot of extras another meal, starters, extra pomodoms. Thank you so much. Coming here again !!!!!

We have been going to this Indian Restaurant for 30 years as a family and it continues to deliver on taste, texture and quality of ingredients. It is my belief that the Indian Cuisine is the most medicinal ones we have with a huge amount of spices and herbs and ingredients going into each dish. I cant sing highly enough of this family run restaurant thats stood the test of time and is now a firm favourite in our house. Dont think twice just order, you'll be in heaven.

Excellent takeaways, very reasonable cost, never had a bad one . Will always return.Usually dead on time if you pick up .

Ordered online at 5:30, estimated delivery, 6:15. We allowed another 30 minutes for any possible delays, but no food arrived. I called the restaurant to be told that the food was on the way, 30 minutes later still no food. Called the restaurant again to be told the food was definitely en route. By 8:05 we still didn't have any food so called to cancel the order but they said it was with the delivery driver. The order arrived at 8:40, more than 3 hours after the initial order. The delivery driver was great and apologised for the lies that I had been told and said that they were busy but should have been told that on the phone. When we started to serve the food we received a meat item when we order all vegetarian food. Called to ask for a refund of the item, to be told that they don't do part refunds (via the web ordering company) and that I would be given a free item next time. I have given them time to resolve this but have not heard from them. It's a real shame to write such a poor review because the food was lovely.

First time user of this restaurant using a menu handed out when passing by. Ordered and paid over the phone (expecting free delivery as within the advertised 3 miles) but was annoyed when the food arrived with a receipt having been charged £1 for delivery. No mention of this charge when ordering. I write this not because of the amount but the principle of violating trades description.

I ordered on line, and expected the food at the 1.5 hours after putting in the order. After 4 phone calls and 2.5 hours after ordering ...the food appeared. It was cold...!! The onion bajis were chewy! Cold chicken curries dinners The popadoms in bits!! Too late to eat. Chips soggy!! I expected a lot more considering the phone calls. The lies.. it’s on its way when it wasn’t. It was an insult to take £3 off our meal. With a bottle of coke! You think that makes it ok. We were left very angry and it ruined our evening Utterly disgusting and I won’t be recommending you to anyone...

We had a delicious take away this evening. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend the Miriam if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine.

First things first ignore all the comments about rude staff and mediocre food. I think that this has to be the best indian resteraunt in taunton. The staff very friendly and helpful. Have also had take away and delivery again all very quick and fresh. Very very tasty food and beyond very good prices.

Quite possibly the best curry I've ever had... Called to place an order to collect, we were given a 15 minute pick up time, arrived and it was ready. We had the lamb biriyani and chicken tikka masala... Amazing. Highly recommend.

Ordered from here last night at 6pm. Had a notification to say that food would be delivered by 6.45. Nothing had arrived by 7.20 so we called the restaurant to find out how much longer it was going to be. We were told the delivery driver had left 10 minutes ago and it's on it's way. At 7.45 nothing had arrived so I called back, we were told the same thing (delivery driver left 5-10 minute ago) obviously now we knew they either lying or didn't have a clue what they were doing! They told me it would be another 5 minutes. At 8pm ( 2 hours after ordering) we still had nothing. I called the restaurant again and requested a refund as it was now 2 hours late, they agreed to this but said I would need to contact just eat directly for a refund. When I contacted just eat they confirmed that I would need to contact the restaurant directly, when telling the restaurant this they didn't want to know but eventually said they would refund us.I had a call from who I assume was the manager, who asked for my address then told me he would call me back, I told him not to bother as my partner had gone down to get the food himself and a refund. At 8.20 the driver turned up, banged on my door and left the food on the floor (which is fine, due to circumstances) I called after him and tried to ask him when he left the restaurant, instead of standing at my drive (more that 2 metres away) he decided to stand in my neighbours front garden and shout at me, being very rude and aggressive! But he did confirm he only left 10 minutes ago! (8.10pm)The food was cold and the lamb was chewy.My partner had gone down to the restaurant, they offered him a few beers (which he doesn't drink!) And a few free curries and refused the refund as promised on the phone. We advised them we would not be ordering again, so do not want free curries and we do not want the beers! Terrible service, terrible staff, rude delivery driver, mediocre food!

Poor service. I phoned and asked if they did ‘eat out to help out’ scheme they said yes and then denied it when I asked for the bill. Eventually they gave us the discount but not for the correct amount. I’m sure this is illegal and would be classed as fraud. The phone rang whilst he was halfway through delivering our food to the table and he left the food on the cart whilst he answered the phone. Due to lack of descriptions on the menu we asked him for more information and his answer was ‘it’s chicken in a special sauce’

Ordered online for delivery at 7.30. Got a message to say it would be 8pm which was ok. 8.15 no food so tried to ring no answer. Rang 4 times no answer. Food eventually arrived at 8.50 which was far too late for me so turned it away. Not good experience. Should have been Saturday night treat but that didn’t happen l

had a take away 2 weeks ago which was very good so went back the following Saturday for a meal to sit in!!! Not a patch on the food From the previous week! Only people in the Restraunt so no atmosphere but totally manic with staff in and out with cool boxes for takeaways and no time to offer drinks and the services of a waiter. Drinks off cobra served warm and offered ice to cool. If no trade due to covid don’t offer Restraunt meals. Worst experience ever !! Been coming here for over 20 years so come on new owners !! Do better if you want to survive as plenty other places to eat

Mattar Paneer under the old Miriam banner was a tasty chickpea dish - now it was tiny green peas in a sweet, dairy sauce of some kind. Vegetable curry was 60% potatoes in a tasteless sauce. Glad we tried there, but won't be rushing back.

I absolutely loved the food it tasted good and fresh big well done to the chefs will definitely be coming back.

I was a long term, satisfied customer of the old Miriam. And the new one is every bit as good. I've really missed a cracking takeaway curry in lockdown. This one was fresh, tasty, with just the right amount of heat. A really good ruby at a reasonable price and ready to collect when arranged. Plus a very welcoming new manager. What's not to like? Good luck with the business guys. I'll definitely be back soon.

For a business to open under new management and still provide top notch food is some feat. I will be recommending to everyone to try from you guys. Massive well done!

Miriams has excepted allof the above & extraordinarily has beaten all the odds & conquered. The reason for this accolade, testiment, recommendation purely is after my first takeaway. Sublime, sumptuous but not only fantastic food; service was exceptional, vital to sustain a potential flourishing business; needed to thrive in a competitive industry. I have used this restaurant for many years . Last time I noticed a difference but put it down to everyone has an off day. This time , not whole order present , chips , curry and rice all cold . Wasn’t going to waste my time calling as had to eat as was starving . It seems clear they must have changed hands ; no other chance , unfortunately they’ve lost my custom and those who ask me where to get curry . Shame

Ordered online on a Saturday evening, food delivered within the hour, and hot. Excellent value for money as 20% off. Large portions, meat tender in dishes chosen. We've never had a bad delivery in the months we've ordered here. Highly recommended.

Waited over an hour for a tasteless curry. My veg rice consisted of onion cabbage and rice. Sag paneer seriously lacking in paneer and the dahl tasted like baby food. Worst curry I have ever had, watery and lacking in substance. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

Order taken via Uber Eats. Doesn’t turn up. I phone restaurant and they ask for my address then say order has left restaurant and is on way. Half an hour later get notification from saying the order cancelled by the restaurant. I phone back. They deny checking that I had an order and say they do not deal with Uber Eats (I have a screen shot proving the order existed). Also my account has been devoted. Appalling service. Don’t bother..

Food was 1hour 55mins late from the estimated delivery time and in total took 3 hours and 15mins to get to us witch I think is a aboulte joke not even a phonecall to apologize for the delay .. once we got our food the main dishes where both average ... The cauliflower in our side dish was not cooked .... And the riita was awful !! Not happy at all !!!

I placed this order at 18:34 and asked for a time of 19:35 which I felt was enough time to give the restaurant. I was then informed that the order would be delivered at 20:20. Which I thought was a push but accepted. At 20:30 I sent a message to just eat that I still had not received the delivery. I was then told my delivery was changed to 21:00! This is an over excessive amount of time to wait and without any contact from the restaurant. If at 20:20 they had contacted to say about a delay I would have asked for discount on the delivery and drove down to get it as we only live about 3 miles away! However I responded on just eat that I wanted some discount and they changed delivery time again to 20:50. Despite this they arrived at 20:55 and just said it was New Years and busy! I do not feel this was an acceptable reason as from the start of the order we had given plenty of time for the of new year business! There was no offer of compensation from the delivery driver on behalf of the restaurant! I will not order from this restaurant again.

All the food was Bailey warm and the popperdoms were soggy.... ordered from her numerous times but I’ve never had to re-heat food to eat it. Shame.... used to love this place...

I made the order at 18.20 to be delivered for 19.45, immediately upon acceptance of order, the time changed to 20.15. A little bit annoying when ordering so far in advance. At 20.20 I hadn't heard or seen anything so phoned the restaurant and they assured us the food was out for delivery. About 10/15 minutes later the delivery time changed to 20.45 - an hour later than what we wanted originally! We were still waiting at 20.45 so I phoned the restaurant again and they said they had the wrong phone number for me... I don't know how? I've only got one and only used one and I had contacted them prior to check on my order. At 20.55 our food eventually arrived. The delivery man said it is Just Eat's fault however I think there were faults on both parties! It is such a shame, if it was better delivery, it would've been hotter and a better experience!

OK food but the delivery took an hour and 45 minutes which is not acceptable. Initial delivery time went up from 45 minutes to one hour and 20 minutes and then finally showed up 20 minutes later after I called to enquire.
