First time we've dined here. We booked a table at short notice on Valentines day and they managed to get us in. When we had arrived, the host informed us that they where very short staffed tonight which was absolutely fine. Working in restaurants for most of my working life, I completely understand the stresses it causes when you're in that position. Food took a while to come as the place was packed but it was definitely worth the wait! We had the Nargis Kebab, the Lamb Passanda and the lamp special sizzler. Even though there was an expected wait on our food, the staff always made sure we had drinks and updates. It's been a long time since we have found a great place for a delicious curry. We could hear people complaining about the wait times on food but everyone was informed at arrival that they where short of staff so it's to be expected, especially on a peak trading day! The food was delicious and the staff where amazing. Thank you to all the staff for a special last minute valentines evening out. We are already planning our next visit, this will be our new regular :)

We had asked Lungi Baba's to cook a feast for my mum's birthday at our house for 16 people and we were treated to an absolute glorious dinner - fantastic food with a selection of beautiful dishes and chutneys. Very straightforward to organise and it was picked up from The Station approach in steel containers. It was clear the food is cooked with love and thought - the perfect addition to a wonderful party. Thank you Lungi Babas!

We had booked a table and was greeted at the door on arrival and shown to the table. The restaurant was fairly busy and the atmosphere was vibrant.we had to wait a little while for our drinks and a menu, The staff appeared to be a little disorganised but friendly ( this is a new venture and has only been open a few weeks ) The food was tasty and nicely presented with ample portions. Good Covid hygiene was in evidence . As an Indian restaurant this ranks as one of the best that I've visited for food outside of London A must visit for all those that enjoy good food.

OMG, what an amazing meal, we love Indian food and this was at the very top end of any Indian food we've experienced over many years. The food was fresh, full of flavour, good size portions and beautifully cooked. Reasonably priced and the service was excellent. If you're ever in this area give it a try, you won't be disappointed

Booked online (quite late on) and although I had a confirmation text and email that the booking had been made they didn't seem to have a record. They did fit us in. Service was quite slow and confused but this may have just been a one-off. I am not a regular so I wouldn't know but there seemed to be lots of regulars there which probably indicates it's usually not as slow. Didn't realise it was a soft drinks only place so take your own alcohol if you want it.

We hadn't been for a while, but as we remembered we had enjoyed it, took a family member there before heading off to the subrooms on a Saturday evening. We weren't disappointed. Friendly service, delicious food. The Pawa is amazing. Only minor point is that we would have had coffee and been tempted by desert, but waiter didn't return after clearing main course and we ran out of time before our gig, (and we would have thought there was plenty of time) Highly recommended. PS website states will deliver up to 4 miles. We live 3.5 mile away up the valley, but putting our address in we are advised 'don't deliver here' Shame but I think waistband and wallet relieved. Maybe a list of villages would help?

Really nice food and service. Really enjoyed it. We loved the freshness of the food and also the wide choice. Staying in the area for the first time for a few days and this was our first meal out here. Not disappointed. Chap serving was really excellent too.

Service was excellent, we were waited on by a nice young man who was very polite and chatted with us whilst we served. The majority of customers seemed to pop in to collect a takeaway, but we sat in to eat and found the premises pleasant enough. The food was delicious, I would highly recommend the pistachio korma.

I've been vegetarian since birth, come from a family with vegetarian Hindu background and have been vegan for over 15 years. We ordered a takeaway today and as always put in the notes to make sure everything was vegan. When I bit into my samosa, it tastes different than usual and smelled horrible to me...I then saw it contained meat!! I feel so disgusted and violated. Couldn't eat the rest of my dinner.
