The best restaurants serving Indian food in Mendip South West

Very accommodating place to eat. very quick service, great tasting food. Our go to place in Kidderminster weekday or weekend.

We had booked a table and was greeted at the door on arrival and shown to the table. The restaurant was fairly busy and the atmosphere was vibrant.we had to wait a little while for our drinks and a menu, The staff appeared to be a little disorganised but friendly ( this is a new venture and has only been open a few weeks ) The food was tasty and nicely presented with ample portions. Good Covid hygiene was in evidence . As an Indian restaurant this ranks as one of the best that I've visited for food outside of London A must visit for all those that enjoy good food.

A lovely meal before the theatre. Stefano looked after us and was kind and attentive throughout. The food was delicious!

OMG, what an amazing meal, we love Indian food and this was at the very top end of any Indian food we've experienced over many years. The food was fresh, full of flavour, good size portions and beautifully cooked. Reasonably priced and the service was excellent. If you're ever in this area give it a try, you won't be disappointed

We had asked Lungi Baba's to cook a feast for my mum's birthday at our house for 16 people and we were treated to an absolute glorious dinner - fantastic food with a selection of beautiful dishes and chutneys. Very straightforward to organise and it was picked up from The Station approach in steel containers. It was clear the food is cooked with love and thought - the perfect addition to a wonderful party. The jury is out the food was amazing but the beer was not cold and they could only do cash. Butthe food made Up for it, it is bit like sitting in someones front room but thats fine. Try the chilli, garlic ginger was too die for.

Excellent food, varied choice of menu and good value for money. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend visiting

This is a review for the takeaway. We ordered through Just Eat after being disappointed several times with our usual takeaway. We ordered at 5pm exactly and the Delivery came at 5.40 just as it said it would. The food arrived Piping hot and well wrapped up. Let me tell you, I have had Indian food in 20 countries across the world and THIS was by far the best I have ever had. The starter (the Kings platter) was fresh and vibrant and delicious. Definately fit for a king! Our main courses were stunning. The ingredients used were clearly quality and very fresh. The rice (we had garlic rice) was different to any I had ever had before but in a good way. I could have eaten a whole one to myself! The naan was delicately spiced and perfectly cooked. There is not one thing I can fault (and believe me when I say I’m a fussy girl). We will be back to order a takeaway again very soon, and we are already planning a family meal in the restaurant. Get ordering. You won’t be disappointed! (No I was not paid for this review, I was just really really impressed with the good and the service)!

We were staying near Kelso and after reading reviews decided to come here for dinner. I WHY ISN'T PUT IN AGAINt did not disappoint. Fantastic food and service! Very tasty. Would 100% recommend!

Wow. Booked for the Sunday buffet and was concerned that as a veggie I would probably just get a veg curry and some rice. Wow was I wrong. The Sunday buffet is not a buffet it's a banquet. I expected warming trays of various food that everyone dipped thier spoons into and piled their plates high. Wrong. There's a special menu of about 55 different dishes to choose from all included in the price. The portions are small but plenty and you can keep ordering until you are full. Plus there were some fantastic choices for vegetarians including lots of paneer which is my absolute favorite. So impressed. Every dish we ordered was exqusite. Freshly cooked and delicious. You bring your own alcohol which makes it affordable for a night out if you are on a budget. Soft drinks, puddings and poppadoms not included. That was the only negative. Poppadoms not included?? Very odd. Especially as we were encouraged to order them to start with. Er no. I am not going to fill up on poppadoms that are not included in the price, when I am doing the all inc buffet?? The service was slow but attentive and to be expected when everything is cooked freshly. Fabulous evening. Great value. Thank you!

The food was exceptional and the service was even better ,if that is possible. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits the isle of Wight as in my short stay here on a work trip this was the highlight of my stay 😀 😄,
