Had a fabulous dinner outside - it's all authentic Indian food cooked on the premises, compliments to the chef! The staff were wonderful, very helpful explaining the menu. Can highly recommend!

Great service in a relaxed environment. Food was really fresh tasting, good size portions and fairly priced. Lovely open fire and very reasonable drink prices. Went with friends who we always try and find new Indian restaurants with. All four of us agreed it was definitely one of the better places we’ve been to and will certainly go back to and would recommend. The Naga lived up to its reputation but was still tasty not just overpoweringly hot like some I’ve tried.

I remember this place as a pub, which usually is a cause for concern when a village pub becomes an Indian or Thai restaurant. However, on this occasion I was pleasantly impressed. Although Beachampton is not local to me it was worth the trek. There’s plenty of parking and the restaurant is easy to find. There was a very large party already seated, but no problem for the four of us, in no time were we served drinks and given menus. The dishes on the menu are fairly standard for an Indian restaurant with the option given to adjust to your liking with the amount of spice (heat), etc. So, poppadoms ordered with dishes of garlic prawns and chicken chat to be followed by chilli sizzlers, chicken tabaqui and tandoori fish. Sides of plain and lime rice, aloo and mushroom bhaji were ordered via the waiters tablet ahead of the large dinner party by the very hospitable Mo. All the food was prepared and presented well and served in a timely manner. We were neither rushed or left waiting. The chefs in the kitchen seemed very experienced in dealing with large parties and small groups at the same time. The traditional Indian restaurant plastic dessert menu of pre-made western choices was given out. I asked Mo if they had traditional gulab jamun, although it was not on the menu. He said he would check if the chef can prepare it, and there it arrived, impressive with ice cream fabulous. An unexpected treat from Mo as he had overheard it was a birthday meal was the presentation of a small cake and candle. It was appreciated as a nice gesture. Having settled the bill we moved to some very comfortable leather sofas for drinks and treated to a complimentary round to finish our evening. Dinner including a few beers and wine came to around £180 for four of us, plus a bit extra in the bar. Whilst the food is good, the quality of the service and attention is excellent and welcoming. The restaurant and bar areas are clean and well maintained. Although a bit out of the way for me, it would be great to visit in the summer for some alfresco dining. I have had a pretty substantial takeaway tonight and really impressed with not only the telephone receptionist who answered our query quickly and precisely but spoke with great detail on the items ordered and gave us an extra plain naan when we arrived and collected the meal. Food was great. Really great service.

Really fantastic and rare experience in this fantastic restaurant. Service is bliss. The really funny bearded waiter was on point all night serving us. Quickly gave me water when I asked. A recent evening meal at Mowglis delighted our taste buds. My chicken pasanda was subtle, with a nutty undercurrent. Served with tasty basmati rice, the creamy dish met my expectations. I confess to forgetting quite what my partner ordered. I recall my partner purring with pleasure though while mopping the brow, both positive signs. I left the restaurant wondering how Mowglis could elevate the dining experience. I considered that Mowgli is a character in The Jungle Book, so perhaps the restaurant could play on this. Some jungle plants in corners of the room, or the staff serving in just loincloths could add to the theatre.

We've eaten here twice previously and everything was great, but this time we ordered a number of dishes for takeaway and each one tasted like someone had forgotten to add the spices. All was very bland and one dish was completely tasteless. Very disappointing experience.
