We had booked a table and was greeted at the door on arrival and shown to the table. The restaurant was fairly busy and the atmosphere was vibrant.we had to wait a little while for our drinks and a menu, The staff appeared to be a little disorganised but friendly ( this is a new venture and has only been open a few weeks ) The food was tasty and nicely presented with ample portions. Good Covid hygiene was in evidence . As an Indian restaurant this ranks as one of the best that I've visited for food outside of London A must visit for all those that enjoy good food.

2 Commercial RoadWe have been going to this Indian for years and it’s always been great. Unfortunately when we went tonight it was not great. We waited a while as it was busy with takeaway orders which was fine as we got some onion bhajis for waiting. We ordered a butter chicken and a chicken jalfrezzi, they tasted very sweet and didn’t have a nice taste so we couldn’t eat them, I was also told that one was sweet as it was a tikka masala not a jalfrezzi although I ordered the jalfrezzi, this was taken off the bill however we are disappointed with the taste of the food.

168-170 High StreetNever really enjoyed the food, always a I've been reheated a few times feel. The owner is a thief and a rip off merchant who refuses to pay independent tradesman as I have recently experienced 1st hand. Became extremely rude over text messages. Avoid the principles.
