What a fantastic family meal we had at Everest Kitchen, the service and food were outstanding. Such a friendly place and was full. The lamb was excellent along with all the food. This was our second visit in a few months and will definitely go back again. Owners couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you

I’ve been eating curries for over 50 years and Everest Kitchen is one of the best I’ve eaten at. Staff very friendly and food superb. Will definitely eat here again.

Don't you just love it when you discover a hidden gem! A small and comfortable little restaurant tucked away at the lower end of Fore st. It was warm and welcoming on a very wet and windy evening. Not flash, no neon lights, murals or plywood pagodas but clean, tidy and well set up. I love Nepali food after being introduced when working with the Royal Ghurka Rifles and this blew me away. Not just an Indian restaurant menu with Momo's and Lamb Kathmandu tagged on but a full on Nepali selection of both starters and main courses and all I chose was absolutely delicious! Everything had a really home cooked feel to it, quality ingredients, delicately spiced and carefully cooked, nothing disappointed. What made it truly Nepalese for me however was the truly attentive and friendly service, if you know any Napalis you will know they are a lovely people and 'mine host' represented them well! - go, you will love it!

The quality of food is really nice and tasty. It was busy night. We just walked in and there was no table. He managed table after 5 min and its worth it. Dropped our son to cricket and nipped down to this amazing restaurant. The front of house is A1, the gentleman who manages the restaurant is amazing. So welcoming and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing- so tasty.

My friends & I were greeted like long lost friends , they were just so welcoming. The restaurant was buzzing because of the time of year , but we were given so much attention . I decided to have something different from my usual choice , but they were anxious to get the heat of the spice just right for me … How lovely is that!! The meal was so delicious !! We were given complimentary drinks to my taste … for which I am very grateful x Both owners came out to greet us & to wish us a happy new year . This restaurant deserves the very best of success & will always remain my favourite.

Restaurant didnt have our booking booked in..party of 12 Food not good, ordered Lamb Tikka Biryani, the rice was not fresh and looked like it had been thrown on the plate, the lamb was tough, cold and not nice. The vegetable curry sauce was just pure garlic, unable to eat. Peshwari Naan bread however was lovely. Pleasant staff, freezer in the Restaurant that you could see them getting the frozen food from. Not a quality Restaurant, will not return

We had not been to this restaurant since it changed hands a few years ago. So glad we decided to return. The service was amazing and so friendly and the food was very tasty. We can’t wait to return.

Such a warm welcome as they remembered us from a previous visit . The restaurant was updated with new furnishings & looked inviting. We were given a complementary surprise chicken pakora which was delicious!! The service we received with such attentiveness you could not fault. !! The meal for us all was so delicious … with such individual flavours . It was truly a delight . We so look forward to revisiting this lovely restaurant & wish them every success … they truly deserve it .

My Sister suggested we try this place for my daughter's 20th, and we were not disappointed. We ended up being a party of 13, and the staff did everything they could to ensure we have a wonderful time. All the food was amazing, and came out at the same time. You are allowed to take your own drink with a small corkage fee - and they even managed to rustle up a birthday cake even though one wasn't requested. They really did everything they could to make the evening special. Recommended, and would definitely go again.

This was probably the best combination of food quality hospitality I have ever received in any restaurant. Staff were exceptionally accomdating, the “Gurkha” beer was refreshing and all food to an excellent quality. In the area? Give it a try, you’ll not be disappointed.
