Lungi Babas in Mendip

The complexity of flavours and freshness of ingredients will blow your mind! Unlike anything else on offer yet to be found in Somerset, Lungi Babas serves authentic South Indian cuisine, no overwhelming variety of dishes, just three or four and if you’re lucky there will be dosas ( an Indian equivalent of a sour dough pancake, made from fermented rice and lentil flour ) Thoroughly recommend, I eat there weekly.

Delicious food, cooked by caring, funky, friendly, talented vegan/vegetarian cooks but don't worry, even if you are not v/ve you will still enjoy amazing southern Indian food. Only had time to sample Thali but my mouth is still watering at the memory of it. Have a look at the website, great singing and dancing and they do so much for the local community. Go eat, enjoy, you won't be disappointed 🤗

Brilliant place to get food on the evenings at The Station, mein host is always cheerful and , despite being very,very busy, finds time to talk about what he has whisked up that particular day

Absolutely outstanding authentic indian food. We order and collect regularly. Generous portions, well orchestrated flavours, top tip no compromise spice tomato chutney :o) only available on certain days or occasionally in a jar to buy separately.

Food was average, previous reviews gave high expectations but rice was stuck together. Could have been a busy Friday night for them, friendly service.

Amazing lovely curry !!! In a small cute hut off the main car park, chef was very friendly and you can eat outside or take away in cardboard box so very eco.
