The best restaurants serving Indian food in Cabot Bristol, City of South West

Nos detuvimos aquí en un recorrido gastronómico por Bristol. No es un lugar al que normalmente iría, pero me sorprendió disfrutarlo. Gente muy amable. El sabor era inusual pero muy bueno, especialmente las semillas de granada. Lo intentaré nuevamente cuando esté en la zona.

Lunchtime Chicken Thali selection was really nice. Will return for sure.

As a vegetarian coeliac this was quite the find! Delicious curries, and the owner was lovely. The prices were also very reasonable which, as a student, was much appreciated.

Booked via the website messaging service and confirmed booking by the restaurant almost immediately. Was seated quickly and orders and food / drink arrivals were very prompt throughout. The food and customer service from the staff was exceptional. This is the second time I have been here and both experiences were very positive. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Amazing atmosphere, great and speedy service as well as lovely food! Had been looking forward to having a good Indian all week and this place certainly delivered! We were surprised about how filling the portions were too, had enough spare to take home with us. Service was attentive, respectful and fast and the food was well worth the money, especially compared to many other Indian restaurants. Will be coming back!

Kadak Samosas – The kind we’d get at Regimental Baniya. Rajma Chawal – A soul-satisfying experience, much like Ramban’s famous flavors in Jammu & Kashmir. Kadak Chai – Just like my regimental tea from a pure Sikh unit, where the troops swear by, "Doodh cheeni thok ke, teh patti rok ke!" A huge salute to Mohinder Singh Chowdhry, our warm and welcoming host, and to the kitchen brigade led by Mrs. Mohini Singh and Mrs. Bholawanti, who worked magic behind the chulah. The service? This place was incorrectly rated, the food was okay - it sat quiet heavily and didn’t have the same spices or tastes I’ve come to expect from good Indian food, however the service entirely lacking made this an awful experience. We requested water to the table half a dozen times, we didn’t get half the things we’d ordered, the staff didn’t register us most of the time and then they tried to get us to tip… Not to mention their chocolates are out of date. For the price it’s not at all worth it, one of the worst Indian food experiences I’ve had.

La comida era excelente, realmente no hay quejas allí en absoluto (a pesar de una espera muy larga, valió la pena). Servicio sin embargo terriblemente malo. Cuando salió la comida faltaron un par de artículos y tuvieron que ser perseguidos. Éramos solo una mesa de 4 tan difícil de ver cómo las cosas se podían perder. Una vez mencionado esto se corrigió con bastante prontitud en justicia. Desde el punto de vista de la higiene, los baños eran bastante sucios y ningún bloqueo funcional en los caballeros es impactante. Menús desmoronándose y cubiertos de manchas de curry. Estaba realmente emocionado de saber que Bandook estaba listo para abrir la publicación de Covid y me recomendó hacer una reserva para evitar decepciones. Llamé la noche anterior para reservar una mesa. Cuando llegamos, fuimos recibidos por una camarera que no estaba al tanto de ninguna reserva y simplemente se encogió de hombros repetidamente y nos señaló abruptamente una mesa vacía. Luego nos dijeron que el menú era `` limitado y que muchos artículos no estaban disponibles '' (no nos dijeron al hacer la reserva que el menú sería limitado) Terminamos yendo ya que solo había un puñado de artículos disponibles y ninguno estaba apropiado ya que mi pareja es celiaca.
