Most amazing Indian dishes by Nepalese Host - a gem in central Bristol. Wonderful combination of spices starting with the Papadum sauces to the curries - highly recommend!

After reading positive reviews about this place I must say it did not disappoint. The food was out of this world and probably the best Indian food I've eaten out. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. If I had to pick a fault we had to wait a little bit for our drinks but it was a busy Saturday night and this wasn't a big enough fault to mark down a review. I will 100% come back again. Thank you for a lovely dinner.

Wonderful food.. loved the typical Indian flavours used in the egg plant and mixed veg. I would say don't miss it if you are Bristol

We went to Tikka Flame today for lunch, 1st time for us and definitely be returning. The food was very good, the tandoori meat was all cooked to reflection. Prawns large and well cooked, great flavours, and decent portion sizes on all meals. Friendly, quick and attentive service. As during the day, the atmosphere was not the same as would be in the evening with more people, but was still a nice environment to eat. Big thumbs up from us.

We all family went to Bristol yesterday for family day out. We were looking for a family friendly restaurant and we got exactly what we were looking for. The food was really really delicious, drinks were crazy amazing.. we really had a good family time. Staffs were really nice and friendly.. service and atmosphere was mind blowing. I recommend each and everyone to try various cuisines in tikka flame. You will enjoy it😘😘😘

Friendly, & cheerfully admitted our (well behaved) dog too. Delicious Jalfrezis and 'proper' parathas (not like the ones they can't make in Birmingham which are really more like a chapati). And delicious Roar Beer, an Indian style lager beer brewed in Swansea - more flavour than Cobra or Kingfisher. 😁👌 - only 4 stars for atmosphere cos it was nearly empty when we dined - not their fault - folk are missing out on delicious food. I've ticked only the pappadum and paratha cos the Prawn Jalfrezi and Lamb Jalfrezi we had are not listed.

Went for the first time n terrible experience. I don't understand why the waiter was behaving so stupid and trying to make disrespectful jokes - "why did u eat so much? Why did u empty the entire plate, you should have left some food for me, I'd have eaten it" - and he thought that was funny! I gave him a disgusted look but he continued anyway. Who treats their customers like that! Don't you train your staff on how to talk to customers? I was already disappointed with the food, it wasn't like indian food, felt stale, something wasn't fresh, portion size too small. Not worth the money and time. Overall poor experience.

I came here for a work meal and it blew my mind. The customer service was out of this world and the food definitely matched. The butter chicken tasted better than I expected. I was hesitant at first to order, due to tasting it previously at another restaurant and being disappointed, this resulting in a sour opinion on butter chicken as a whole. Nonetheless, both the experience and the food has really made me enjoy and love Indian food and culture even more. I’m definitely going to be returning very soon, that I know for sure! Thank you!

Good curry but as a local who regularly gets curry, I have seen this place go down hill, halving the portions and charging the same price. Sadly will not be going back as there are many other curry houses nearby that are much more worth your money

Indian restaurant yes but the vibe wasn't right. Food portions were okay but too costly I feel. Waiting time is too long once the order is placed. I feel they're a bit understaffed. The music selection was not good at all. I would suggest you to play Indian classical instrumentals or something soothing. But I think in terms of authenticity, the food actually gives you a slight taste of Indian cuisine. We do eat less oily and non spicy food as well ( fired potatoes, daal, rice / khichdi etc. ).

Having paid the congestion charge and parking to come to zaza initially but no room we found around the corner This TIKKA FLAME Indian restaurant. There was 11 people only so hardly packed . So not busy. We Sat & Look at menus 15/ min go by no drink waiter back and forth the tables v slow. I went to loo and said ready to order, still didn't come over. 30 mins later my son had his beer ( I was told I had to wait for cocktails) ordered the offer two for £11 and told I had to have 2 the same... asked for a water in mean while no water, so sat without a drink over half hour! Almost 45 mins later food order taken. !! By time we finished the food we had been sat in there over 2 hours! This was my birthday meal. The other customers looked miserable not getting served quickly as just this one slow young man there in his own as we was finishing our food another member of staff came into work and the 2 girls that sat down much later than we arrived was served drinks and food almost instantly!! The food was good and hot but the service terrible !! We had to put more money on our parking ticket which then lended up going over £15! Not the birthday meal treat I was expecting. Would of got better service in spoons! Won't be going back paid about £60 ish

We along with two more families visited Tikka Flame for the first time ever on 31st December for lunch. The ambience is lovely and the ever so smiling staff makes it even a better experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience as not only the service was excellent but the food was bursting with flavours. We including the kinds had such a satisfying meal. We eat a lot of curries (being from the midlands we have some good choices) but this was by far the best curry I have ever eaten. I like spicy food so I had a vindaloo and the spice was there and warming but did not overwhelm the incredible flavour of the curry underneath! Absolutely wild!

Excellent food, amazing service, great location, very reasonable price considering location. We had korma, peshwari naan, pilau rice and some popadoms. All the food was excellent, quick service, it was a busy night and they very kindly moved us to a quieter corner which was thoughtful. Also offers a very good NHS discount for NHS staff - thanks Tikka Flame!

Came here ironically for Sunday lunch just as a last minute thing and we are so pleased we did! The food is amazing, extremely tasty and very well presented. The staff are very friendly and extremely attentive to your needs. We will definitely come back as it is one of the best! I guess this is why it's award winning!

Absolutely lovely food. One of the highlights was the mixed grill sharer starter, a mix of Chicken and shish, onion bhaji and spring rolls served with dressed leaves and two sauces. The Mushroom rice was also amazing.

Went for a curry today for an unusual early time of 1pm..normally something we'd eat later in the day. Must say it was an enjoyable and tasty experience. Service was great and food was top notch. My wife had chicken jalfrezi, I had lamb chilli masala, we had sides of onion bhaji, garlic rice, chilli-garlic nan and a chapati. Washed down with a cobra and a bottle of malbec 🍺🍷 What a thoroughly lovely couple of hours on Bristol Harbourside in the October sun🌞 Thank you to our server and the chef and his team. Took a chance by not checking reviews or even the menu. The moment we walked in the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place was busy and had a real buzz to it. Authentic feeling with a modern touch decor wise. Food was delivered within a decent time frame given how busy it was but we drank most of a gorgeous bottle of Malbec while we waited with popadoms and dips. The food…. Sensational. Sorry but it really was! We’ve visited India 4 times and travelled it for months on 2 of those visits and trust me, the food in this restaurant is THAT GOOD it took us straight back to that wonderfully country within the first bite. Neither of us could fault anything from on the plate 👌🏾. Definitely going back when In Bristol next 100%. Thank you to the staff 🙏🏿 we even had to tell the chefs personally at the end how good it was haha!

The Keralan Gosht was absolutely fantastic! The tenderness and rich flavour of the lamb paired well with the Peshawari naan. I'd highly recommend both, especially with a nice pilau.

An amazing meal at Tilka flame. Great welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The seating is cosy and decor is amazing. Plenty of time given to look at the menu, didn't feel rushed at all.
