Beautiful interior, really good food including the presentation for our starters, great service, no idea why it wasn't overly busy on Friday evening. Definitely deserves go be one of the more recommended Indians in bristol, my fiance and I will definitely be returning!

me and my best friend stumbled apon this restaurant by chance and it did not disappoint, kundan and sunny served us to the best of their ability - we will be back!

I went here with my lovely girlfriend and we had a great dinner and service was super nice they were really lovely as the waiters were very friendly.

Third visit, once again greeted by an excellent & friendly service accommodating to allergies & dietary requirements, food was delicious, atmosphere was just right and right in the heart of Bristol not too far from any nightlife. Will be revisiting again very soon

I usually dont like this type of food (or write reviews 😂🤭) but WOW i am converted!! Went for my partners bday meal this evening with the family and had the lamb shank… and some garlic chilli naan… well… im blown away!! The staff are really friendly helpful and welcoming. My autistic son who usually struggles when out clearly felt at ease in the calm relaxing environment and enjoyed his evening too. The environment, the staff, and the food were all FABULOUS!!! All family left really HAPPY with our meal and our evening and ALL said we would deffo return!! Massive thumbs up to staff and the chef!! 😘🫶👌 (we will be visiting again soon!!) xx

The decorations were really good, the ladies bathroom lacks maintenance inside the stalls, we waited for the food for one hour and a half, the taste wasn't that good, besides the bread and the chicken on it, and the waiter was kinda pushy.

Tiny portions - 2 small prawns as a starter of Gunpowder Prawns they still had the tails on to make them look bigger. They lay the table with bottled water to avoid you asking for a jug of water and, of course this bumps up the bill, We were a party of 6 and asked for a rice and naan between 2 but they bought 4 of each - again another way of bumping up the bill. Mo one had more tan one small beer and 2 people were drinking only water and the bill for 2 courses was £45 each for 2 small prawns and very average Indian food.

The food is topnotch. So different to the regular Indian restaurants. Amazing flavours. The staff were really attentive and appreciated our custom. We're from Swindon but we'll be back.

Me and my boyfriend came here today for our anniversary and the food was amazing. The service was also incredible, especially from Amir who was always there when needed and made us feel very welcomed and looked after. I definitely recommend coming here, as i will be again.

Came here on weekend staff was amazing and the quality of food was amazing, the chicken especially was juicy and soft unlike most places. Definitely recommend you will not be disappointed

Nice place with plenty of seating inside and out.. Helpful staff. Food was very dissapointing, prawns were smothered in chilli with no mango taste couldn't even taste the prawn. Chickens starter was 3 small pieces, more style then substance. Curry was generic and tasteless, loaded with finer and peppers uncooked. Naan as nice.

We have found this restaurant from google and went to try, it was late time that almost they were closing. However, they were so friendly and helpful, accepted us and serviced very well. The food was delicious, we have tried the Indian cuisine first time with my two chinese friends, they also like it . We have tried the biryhani and some sides. Thank you very much for your friendly service and taste ( especially for bartender guy)

I'm rating down the food as I had found a piece of chicken in a paneer dish I ordered. The curry sauce itself was nice until I found the piece of chicken in the sauce. This is personally a horrible experience for me as I'm a vegetarian. The restaurant also didn't honour the gourmet society discount card, even though it was valid. They gave their own made up small discount and excuse that they're not doing discounts. Overall it has not been a great experience for food or service.

It was fine, I have given 4 stars as there was nothing wrong with the experience but I was just dissapointed with the food based on the ratings I'd read. We booked through first table so price was excellent. I would recomend a visit but it's not my favourite Indian restaurant in Bristol.

I booked a table for a friend's birthday using the First Table app that had 50% off the total bill. Had not heard about them before & their website was easy to navigate. The food was excellent and the waiter helped us decide as we could not decide. There was so much food that I took some home. I highly recommend it and will be going back. All freshly cooked food and service was excellent. We left feeling full, relaxed and will definitely be going back.

We recently went to a 40th birthday party which had booked the place out. In terms of the food, the set buffet menu was both varied and extremely tasty. There was plenty of food to go around for what must have been 50 people or so. The fish pakoras were a particular favourite for my 2 year old (and myself)! The staff were very friendly, and the whole party/proceedings were well organised and went very smoothly. Highly recommend this place and I'll be coming back again next time I'm in Bristol!

We traveled to the UK froma Nova Scotia. We wanted to experience Indian food there. We could not have picked a better spot. From the mango margaritas to his grandmother "s chicken recipe, everything was perfect. It was certainly one of the best meals of our vacation

Visiting Bristol from far away, decided to go this restaurant. Would highly recommend! Food is 11/10 - the butter chicken is the best I’ve ever had (very sweet, has a nice crunch and has the right amount of spices). Service time is good for food that is being freshly made. The restaurant looked modern, clean and very appealing. The waiters are friendly and provide a high knowledge of what to order and how to personalise it to your taste. They also had a nice personality - the chefs are top tier! I would recommend this restaurant highly for its food, service and atmosphere. Please visit this restaurant and support the business!

A great family friendly restaurant serving authentic South East Asian food. We were visiting the area for half term and wanted some home made authentic curry and Haveli lived up to the hype. From the moment we arrived we experienced a positive dinner as a family with 3 children. Amir and his team made us feel very welcome, the ambience and decor was very nice and the food was absolutely delicious. We only wish we weren’t staying in a hotel as we would have taken soon food back with us. We will definitely visit again when we’re next in the area. Thank you for a delicious and wholesome meal.

I went there with a group of friends for my birthday and was really pleased with the service that was offered. From the food to service provided by the owner, I was really impressed. They also have really good cocktails, especially the Long Island ice teas🤭. Even forgot one of my birthday cards and the owner was nice enough to give me a call to come and get it m. So overall would absolutely recommend!!

we went to this restaurant before a concert as I noticed the menu looked interesting. Not only was it interesting the quality and taste of the food was absolutely amazing. One of the best meals we have ever tasted and next time we are in Bristol for a concert we will definitely be coming back here.

Had a great meal here a few weeks ago. All dishes were as described, good portions, and great service.

Went with a large group of 18, my friend asked for tap water, the manager pulled out his phone and showed us a photo of Paignton and an article about the water pollution in Devon, he said it’s now in Bristol so therefore not happy to give my friend a tap water. The rest of my group didn’t realise the water on the table was bottled and had opened them all, £40 for water added onto the bill. He refused to get tap water even though my friend said she would take her chances. Added a large service charge on top of watergate. We chose here because they offer 15% nhs. Service charge completely over powers the discount. Only had 4 small pieces of lamb in my curry (£15)!!! And got charged £5.50 for a line cordial and Soda water. Now I gotta say I’ve never written a review before but guys I smell something fishy.

We spotted this place by accident. We were booked into Asado, the burger place next door and walked past, thought it looked like a great place. Popped in after the burger and was greeted by Amir, the owner. Cleary very passionate about what he does and runs an amazing operation. The food is spilt between small plates and regular curries. We had 3 small plates, 1 curry, 2 naans and a bowl of rice. Had to send some back as we were full. All the food we had was beautiful. It was difficult to choose as there were so many things "off the beaten track" for an Indian restaurant so the small plates really worked for us. They had a couple of beers on draft including a nice IPA, Bombay Bicycle but of course, as you'd expect from a nice place like this a range of cocktails and wines too. We're beer with curry people, through and through though. Should I return to Bristol, I will definitely be back. Hopefully it will be for 2 nights though as we've found 2 amazing places to eat....

First time here and it did not disappoint. In fact, I'm only disappointed that I've not been before. Outstanding in every department. Had the Saag Gosht, Aloo gobi and garlic naan, delightful. Don't normally have pudding but the Khajar ka halwa blooming scrumptious, with a cocktail to wash it down, Indian Kharak Chai Martini gorgeous. Highly recommend. Watch out Urban Tandoor serious competition here.

We had ordered Tandoori chicken wings but got Drumsticks pieces and instead of tandoori masala with honey it tasted more like chicken pakoras/65 masala. When we asked the server that the dish wasn't what was mentioned in the menu they said that is what is being served to all the customers. We loved the garlic naan and curries in the main course but the overall experience wasn't great.

Booked a last table slot with First Table with a couple of friends. Service was incredibly friendly, polite and warm throughout the evening. The restaurant is really nice inside, modern and elegant and the lighting was nice and soft. It was hard to choose what to have bevause the menu was so interesting and exciting. The food was absolutely delicious! Packed full of flavour and had clearly been freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. I would really recommend the paneer starter and fish curry main. The fish was so nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle and the sauce was very tasty. The owner, Amir spoke with us after the meal and he was absolutely delightful and clearly very passionate about great food and running this restaurant. He listened with interest to our experience and even gave us a shot on the house as we were leaving. Excellent restaurant, we definitely will be returning!

The wife and I went to Haveli just before heading home to London after our visit to Bristol. We were both looking for something to eat but need something wholesome and the wife being Indian was craving some more homely cuisine. I’ll be honest having been let down before we tempered our expectations but I can truly say those expect were more than meet. The food was absolutely delicious, my wife remarked it reminded her of home cooked food from her mother. The staff were attentive and kind. The ambience was classy and soothing. If you want amazing Indian cuisine in Bristol, Haveli should be your first choice.
