We stopped here on a food tour of Bristol. Not a place I would normally go to but I was surprised to enjoy it. Very friendly people. The taste was unusual but very good especially the pomegranate seeds. Will try it again when I’m in the area.

This is my go to place for comfort food in whapping wharf. The curry of the day is always good and the samosa chaat is so satisfying. Best food for when you’re feeling good or when you’re feeling hunegover( plus you don’t feel all greasy and gross after eating, just feel like you’re back full of the nutrition you needed ! )

Had the samosa chat here today and can’t recommend highly enough! Beautiful flavours and everything vegan and fresh! My friend had the Full Monkey and loved it. Only downside was it’s a little cold in there on a grey day but the warming food made up for it! Will definitely be returning next time I’m in Bristol!

Tired and hungry was lured in by the amazing aromas! Had a delicious curry and rice with beautiful garnish for just £5! The lady serving was very friendly and welcoming - made me feel right at home. The perfect comforting pick-me-up after a long day! Left with renewed energy. Thanks so much will definitely be back next time I’m in Bristol!

Stopped here for lunch a few months ago. Some of the best vegan street food going. Was really impressed, so many flavours. I went for the Samosa Chaat and a pakora. Really good food. Definitely check it out next time you're in Bristol.

I popped in last night after the festivities at Wapping Wharf, hungry and not sure what to try. The guy serving took the time to explain their wonderful offerings and I decided on the 'Roald' Dahl. What a fabulous choice! Balanced flavours, tasty, great combination of textures and a perfect portion size. Rice, lentils, chilli, yoghurt, crunchy bits... all for just £5! I will definitely be going back for more! Also very pleased with the wooden cutlery and recycleable takeaway containers. Jolly well done and thank you Gopal's Curry Shack

This little gem is one of my favourites and a must if you love everything about street food. I’ve been back many times and also sometimes catch them at their Sunday market stall at the tobacco factory. Often there are only three or four choices, all vegetarian or vegan. Firm favourites include the Buddha box and onion bhaji scotch egg. Parking is a little pricy if you visit them at Wapping Wharf, but if you come by foot from the city this can be avoided. There is a very small amount of seating inside and out, this is largely a takeaway venue. Drinks selection is all soft drinks, either a can, water or mango lassi (which is delicious). Have a samosa on the side, because they’re pretty damn good too.

We were visiting 7 venues on our cycling food tour of Bristol Gopals was unbelievable food. Tasty and spicy without burning your mouth and all homemade. The restaurant tried serving only Vegan food over the month of January and this was so successful that they have decided to focus on Vegan food only. I would highly recommend this curry shack. Table and chairs outside as well and situated in the lovely Wapping Wharf area. We will be back!

Most others around were having burgers or fish and chips, it was a stunning hot day so finding this curry shack in the middle of the containers was Awsome. Spicy, fresh, fragrant and filling. Delicious food backed up by honest ethics - thanks ladies, I can’t wait to return 🌶🍲

Excellent little find. My wife and I were struggling to make a decision on lunch and plumped for Gopals after wanting to pop in for a while. We both had the samosa dish and it was delicious and had some nice heat. It is decent value and served very quickly. Whilst not a vegetarian, I really appreciate food when it tastes this good.

We read some great reviews of truly tasty vegan food and they didn’t disappoint! I had the full monkey and hubbie had the samosa chaat. Both really tasty. We sat in and the staff were just lovely and really friendly. 10/10 from us...we’ll be back.

We’ve been here a couple of times now and have enjoyed the food. The drinks range is good too. We ordered a range and enjoyed them all. I would highly recommend the pakoras and grandma’s curry.

Was visiting the Arnolfini so stopped for lunch at Gopal's. It was super busy as there was an offer on via Just Eat and loads of people had created a backup of orders. Decided to go back when it had calmed down. Glad we did go back as the food was wonderful. Vibrant curries, samosas and bhajis, fresh salads and some tempting cakes. Small seating area inside the shipping container restaurant, and friendly welcoming service. Can see why this place is very popular. Will certainly be going back at the next opportunity.

Booked out whole place for my 40th. Squeezed in 13, was very sociable, more like takeaway dining but that added to experience. Food was next level. Staff very helpful and accomondating. got some lovely alcohol from posh winery round corner. Ideal for a very reasonable meal out before a night out. Thanks!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the curry we had here, we went through a range of the menu, our highlight was the spinach and garlic bahji and the quail main. The quality was really good but the menu is short so I hope they change it regularly...
