Food was unbelievably nice. Beautifully spiced. Had a weekday lunch meal 13-14 pound for 3 courses, bargain! It was a bit quiet in there, sure its not always like that. But that just meant we got our food quicker.

Excellent service to accommodate a large party of 18. Food arrived promptly, staff were very attentive and able to accommodate bespoke requests at short notice with no issue! Will be visiting very soon.

We used to go to the Nottingham branch. I salivate about the thought of their lamb chop starter. On the menu in Bristol but a reheated shadow of its former self. Acceptable Dahl but overall very average. Restaurant empty - but Sunday night and England escape versus Slovakia so not that surprising. Overall, a shame

If there is one authentic Indian restaurant in Bristol, it’s got to be this one!! Lovely place and top it all of such sweet staff, willing to go an extra mile to make your evening special.

Amazing I liked the food, tried chicken labdordi, lamb corma, coconut rice is so tasty. Big size place, with calm interior, I would different visit it again and all meat are halal

Today me and my husband visited for lunch.the food was amazing, hats off to the chefs. But the service was poor. Never checked back with the table, if everything was okey. looks like the waitress was busy with her phone.we were still happy to pay the service charge as the food was delicious. Will be visiting again, but we expect better service

We had a thali to start, which was delicious, and I asked for a potato dosa as a main course and it was perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Visited this restaurant in May 2024 while on a business trip to Bristol. Both my two colleagues and I all agreed that this was one of the best Indian restaurants we have ever eaten in, really good, top quality food.

Vansh was out server. He really made us understand what to order and which items are hot selling and would suit us. Thank you. Had a good time

Really nice. Reasonably priced, meals not huge but definitely enough! The nan bread was light and very buttery, cocktails was good too. Onion bhaji starter was very nice! Will definitely come back.

Top quality Indian food with a real spice kick - note there aren't really any mild dishes (eg korma) as this is authentic and delicious stuff

Our Biking group of nine had a wonderful meal last night. I can not praise it highly enough. I don’t know what I was expecting as I haven’t be there before, but it was one of the best Indian meals I have had and service was friendly and very tolerant of 9 tipsy guys I would highly recommend

Had not been here before but was meeting someone and this place was suggested as being a central location. The place was quite lively even with it being a Thursday and early evening but let down by the food and service. Portions were small, main courses were more sauce than in my case prawn, naan very greasy. Felt rushed by staff, had finished our food but were still finishing drinks (may well have had another) but the bill just arrived, followed only a minute or so later by someone with the card machine. Rather expensive as well for what it was. Oh well, won't be returning.

Following a Theatre show, looked around for somewhere to eat and ended up at “4500 from Delhi”. It’s always been a clean well presented restaurant but, on the evening, it was quiet. Service was, therefore quick. Sadly, my wife’s cod didn’t indicate how hot it would be, but it was too hot for her. I’m a Madras person, so was comfortable with the heat. My main issue, on the evening was that we had 2x halves of Cobra, but the price list we saw only gave the pint price of £6.50 which is sort of average for Indian restaurants. On the final invoice, it showed £4.50 each, so for the pint we shared, so it cost £9.00 plus the service charge, which is extortionate, making it around £10 a pint! I did complain about the price and was given the rhetoric “sorry sir, that’s the price (I’m not sure it was visible at £4.50), so I asked for the £4.79 service charge to be removed, which happened. If I’d not been over-charged for the Cobra, I would not have removed the service charge. We will not be returning.

Had great experience here at 4500 miles from delhi with family and friends. Manager Javed was a great host and friendly. He explained about the dishes and made us taste best dishes. Hyderabadi lamb curry is a must try.

The main courses were lovely; both curries were warm and delicious, with fluffy garlic naan and good rice. The waitstaff were friendly and our main courses arrived in good time. However, when we had an issue with our dessert and asked to speak to the manager, he didn't let us fully explain our issue and kept speaking over us. Unfortunately, this put a damper on the evening and we would not return.

Extremely impressed!! All the food was amazing and cocktails were really nice too. The ambiance was very relaxing and service was brilliant. The chicken madras and the sizzling lamb kebab were phenomenal. They also offer great vegan options and the waiter was very helpful to let my mum know which dishes on the menu were suitable for her. I love 4500 miles from Delhi for good quality Indian food, I am not Indian but a few of my Indian friends go there and we have been as a group from work twice now in 3 months.

This is the second time I visited the restaurant, it was as good as the first time. The food was amazing as usual and cocktails 🍸 were the 👌 Would surely recommend.

Wow - the food was just beautiful. Each starter held their own and make you want to have more as well as tempting you to stick with what you know. Darn it, too good. The mains did not disappoint, and was one of those times when you felt the need to share. My only reason for a star off, was due to two staff members having a sleep at the back of the restaurant (by a table). Clearly I do not begrudge them resting. They delivered amazing food, but think they need a more comfortable place to rest. Service was polite and efficient.

I’ve been here a few times and although there are plenty of people working there and it’s quite attentive. The food portions are small, expensive and not particularly special nor flavoursome. There is a lot of competition for Indian food within the centre of Bristol at the moment and unfortunately there are better choices nearby.

Was here for the first time for lunch with my friend and the food was amazing. Will sure be back soon.

Some issues with cold food being served. Issue rectified, but it meant eating at different times to my partner. Staff not that understanding. Portion sizes aren't great. It's the only place I've been that serves half poppadoms!!

Chicken tikka masala tasted like tomato soup & popadoms were £2 each. Failed to get our order correct due to not writing it down. Won’t be going back.

Food was meh, get bigger and better for cheaper at tesco. Foegot our rice and bread. Water came after we finished the meal around 30mins later after asking 4x

Had a dinner with friends and it was amazing. I would say proper authentic food and one of the best Indian restaurants in bristol. Kudos to staff for taking good care of us.

Incredible flavours, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. I have visited this restaurant many times and it never fails to impress me! I never hesitate to recommend it. I urge you to try the aloo tikki and the peas paneer. Plus if you're a student they have great student prices. Definitely worth a visit (or a few).

Absolutely the best Indian food we've had and we have it a lot. We had the chicken jalfrezi and lamb rogan josh, both were delicious but the lamb was exceptional, large chunks of melt in the mouth lamb. The naans are really good as is the rice. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. I highly recommend you try this restaurant if you love good Indian food.

Popped in here several times after a few drinks curries are always amazing great service . My friend and I ordered a chicken madras each with mushroom rice sagaloo and garlic naan washed down with a cobra beer.the curry was lovely as I love hot spicy food but the madras was incendiary hot more like a vindaloo sadly my friend couldn't eat all his as it got way to hot for him to eat both had upset stomach for a couple of days after sad to say but a great place to eat
