half the food was so cold it was inedible and yet the nann bread was hot and really nice. won't be ordering again.

Wrong curry arrived my husband is part blind but called restaurant and they replaced it thank you for your help

All but one item had no flavour at all, chicken tikka masala and peshwari naan were really unpleasant to eat.

Great tasting meal.....veg dishes were 5 Star, King Prawn madras could of done with a few more King Prawns but excellent tasting!👍💥

absolutely lovely food. nice flavour and still warm when arrived and the delivery driver was apologetic about the time delay but a solid 8 out of 10. will definitely be ordering from you guys again as we thoroughly enjoyed our food. thanks.

Curry’s were amazing - so much chicken and lamb in both. Naan breads were so fluffy and they were massive - well worth the money. Saag aloo was so tasty and it all came piping hot!

Took two hours from order - delivery , even after estimate time it was still 30mins late , food was cold and had to be warmed in the microwave which ruined the whole meal , not the service I expected for such a big amount spent

Super late. Originally ordered at 6.30 and delivered at 8.40pm.

Food was really good. The delivery time on the order screen said that it was 45-60 minutes delivery time. When I placed the order the delivery time shot up to well over 80 minutes as the earliest delivery time and then was a further 10 minutes late.

Friday night indian takeaway converts from the usual Chinese since finding this place.... The food is fantastic and so reasonably priced.... Looking forward to next Friday's takeaway already!!!

Wow.... The Badhonia is hot, tasty, and my new favourite curry!!! Ordered a chicken Badhonia and a lamb Rogan Josh... both were lush and packed full of juicy pieces of meat. The price was also very reasonable!!!! Will be ordering again very soon!!

Great value for money , had something different and what a joy, this is not just any food dished out , but great food served I am well traveled and I can say this is like home made Indian food , not just something that is like Indian food , well done guy super job keep up the great quality, can’t wait for another meal from you 😀

Little watery and not much taste

Food was late. Called restaurant to be told its cancelled then said it was out for delivery. Normally good service but not this time. Food was cold on delivery too.

Was the worst takeaway ever, 3 king prawns in masala sauce was like tomato watery soup and cost 13.95 disgusting. Fried rice full of salt, chicken balti no flavour and naan bread not cooked lost £30.00 would rather have given the money to a worthy cause, all went in the bin, absolutely rubbish food

Haven't lived in the area long so with dear friends decided to give this place a go... And was very impressed...The Chicken Sag was very tender and beautifully cooked ..and not to spicy so that you could taste the delicate flavors...suffice to say we all had empty plates at the end... We will definitely go again...

Only 5 minutes last but this meant it was almost 2 hours after we ordered when the estimated delivery time beforehand was 50 - 65 mins. We paid extra for a dish with chicken tikka but got regular chicken.

Stopped using Raj Gate a while back as food seemed to have gone down hill. We were told they have a new chef however so decided to give them another go. Food was really lovely - we had it delivered - Onion Bajis were really nice - and all 4 of us enjoyed the Curries. Did feel the pickle tray was a bit stingy (I am sure you used to get more) but that really was our only gripe. As long as chef does not change - will certainly use them again.Did not use the restaurant so unable to rate but just eat won't let me skip that part so had to make score up.

Food was either below temperature or burnt, thus leaving us to either reheat or just give up and chuck it in the bin!!! I thought the meaning of takeaway was to have a no cooking treat, I contacted the restaurant who were very unhelpful and told me it’s just eats problems not there’s!!!

I got unhygienic food and also with hair in my food when I received the delivery. Later I tried so many times to talk on this matter to the restaurant. Although, the issue is not been resolved so far.

Just had the most delicious meal delivered from these guys. I haven't enjoyed a takeaway for a long time, I wasn't disappointed. 5***** I strongly recommend the fish tikka.

Food was slightly disappointing. Some items were very decent. Others not so much. The onion bhajis were soaked in oil. Had left few notes for the restaurant but seems they didn’t bother to read them.

Honestly one of the best curries we’ve ever had! The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. The man at the front of house was a perfect frontman for the chefs and was engaging and personable. My father and husband had their favourite, the naga, and we all shared a couple of Baltis. The breads, subsides and rice were perfect accompaniments. Great value for money too. 2 vegans and 2 vegetarians couldn’t be happier with this random find.

I’m very fussy about my curry and rarely try anything different but I liked the look of the fatali madras and can honestly say it was fantastic as was the chicken pakora starter I’ll definitely be having this again.

Been awhile since I've had a decent Indian curry wasn't disappointed will pop in when I next pass by thanks to staff and chef made me feel like I was having some traditional home cooking.

Good experience traditional dishes will dine again on my next trip.

Told it’ll be 90 mins and it was - bang on time. Would have been full rating if the food wasn’t cold, after a quick 2 mins microwave it was all really tasty though

Overall, the food quality is good and it's great value for money. Normally a great service but they left out some items and had tubs of spilt food in our order which was all over the other cartons. Rang and complained, took a number of times repeating missing items and they delivered these 20 mins later. Shame as late items are useless when you have eaten your main meal and you can't wait or it will get cold. But would still recommend them

Consistently the best curry in Bristol. Get the tandoori mixed grill! Highly reccomended

Good was lovely however we ordered a chicken madras & received a beef madras instead. We didn’t realise until it was served up. In any case the beef was very well cooked. We also ordered onion bhaji’s but they were very very greasy. Would not order the bhaji’s again.

Blandest food ever. Onion bhajee were excessively greasy and tasted of cumin but nothing else. The Bombay potato was just large tasteless chunks of potato in a bland gravy with no spice whatsoever. Pilau rice was just boiled rice coloured yellow-no flavour at all, the vindaloo at least had some heat but was not an authentic vindaloo. Thumbs up for the keema naan but that’s it. Fed up of there not being a decent Indian around here.

As an avid curry eater and maker: this was the worst curry I've ever had. Had to throw it away. It was the complete opposite of the description on the menu that I ordered. I have lost trust, feel robbed and they have lost local customers.

Delivery took a little longer that I would have liked, but the food was worth the wait. Everything was really hot and tasty. Will definitely be ordering again.

When my order arrived it was cold.

Very nice food. Both the chicken and lamb were incredibly tender. Milder curries were a little on the sweet side but keen to try more from the menu. Tandoori chops were stunning. Certainly one of the better ones locally.

Excellent take away and one of the best tikka kebabs I’ve tasted. Thank you raj gate on shire road 🙏🏻
