The best restaurants serving Indian food in Reading South East

The food is excellent, really tasty and generous portions, good value not over priced, service was friendly, made us feel welcom

We have eaten at the House of Flavours restaurant on several occasions and the food has been reasonably good. But this was our first time ordering home delivery and it was a poor experience. 1) They missed some of the items ordered which was upsetting especially for the children b) the “spicy” curries were bland (and we are familiar with these curries as we usually order them at the restaurant) and c) naans all soggy!

Recently visited the VEL restaurant, must say the food is outstanding at pocket friendly price , the South Indian dishes is a must try here !

No poppadoms no draught beer and cash only which we were only told at end of meal so had to go to cash machine to get cash.

It was amazing. I felt like I was back in my hometown, Chennai. Definitely recommend for a second visit.

Ever since I visited this place with a friend who introduced it as "authentic Indian food with a home-like feel" a few years ago, I've been taking all of my friends there almost as an ambassador, but when I went this year, the food wasn't the same as before... It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very tasty either. It was a shame because I felt like it wasn't worth the price.

Really loved the service and hospitality by the manager. Manager was really nice guy and excellent staff. Overall food was really tasty and served hot. Had a lovely experience

We bought a takeaway meal from this restaurant. The food was ready on time. The order was correct. All of our meals were tasty and hot. We’ll certainly order from there again.

Tasty curry, good portions with friendly and swift service. My veggie Dhansak was good, spicy as requested and the chicken tikka masala and pathia seemed to go down well though the chicken could have been more succulent apparently. Overall a reasonably priced, friendly local curry house in Emmer Green

Excelente calidad de la comida y servicio eficiente. Amplio menú del sur de la India. El restaurante estaba ocupado, pero no afectó el servicio. Masala dosa medu vada e idlis eran perfectos.
