The best restaurants serving Indian food in Reading South East

First time we have gone back to Zyka after the new management and refurbishment. Ordered Lamb Samosas, which was very tasty. For mains I ordered Chicken Passanda, which was extremely tasty and my wife had Zyka Mixed Tandoori, which ideally it's ideal for sharing, as the portion size is probably too big for one. The staff where very attentive and also very helpful. We will definitely be back...

Tasty curry, good portions with friendly and swift service. My veggie Dhansak was good, spicy as requested and the chicken tikka masala and pathia seemed to go down well though the chicken could have been more succulent apparently. Overall a reasonably priced, friendly local curry house in Emmer Green

Chicken lollipop tasted off, like it was old Chicken, the dish was too sour, vinegar overload. Chicken fried rice was promised with breaded chicken, but it wasn't.

No poppadoms no draught beer and cash only which we were only told at end of meal so had to go to cash machine to get cash.

It was amazing. I felt like I was back in my hometown, Chennai. Definitely recommend for a second visit.

Amazing food, was delicious and delivered fairly quickly. I had the korma which was absolutely fantastic, my partner had Murg Achari and he really enjoyed his too. My only issue, is for the amount of money we spent just on the chicken, (nearly £40) I'd have at least liked a free rice to go with it. They also gave us an alcoholic drink, which we don't drink instead of a non alcoholic. Other than that, we would definitely buy from here again!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and wide variety of dishes to chose from. Will certainly return.

Ordered something called Misal pav, it’s the worst food I ever tasted in my life. I’m afraid if something happens to my stomach. Just the vada pav was OK OK. Will never visit again.

Ordered via Deliveroo and they could not distinguish between a butter chicken and chicken pasanda.
