Ordered from here today, first time, absolutely amazing Haleem and keema aloo, fantastic real home made vibe.

Had a takeaway from this place as I’ve driven past it daily for three years. Absolutely brilliant food still hot when we got back to Basingstoke (15 miles) meat tender curry just right and breads fantastic will be stopping there again whole family happy

Previously the food has been flavoursome today it was bland and dry. They also supplied the wrong drink. I will not be ordering from Dilwar again.

They cancelled my order 10 minutes before it was about to arrive. Had to spend more money on a dominos instead

Ordered the food at 7pm and arrived at 9.30pm! Terrible service. Contantantly lied to us on the phone saying it would be only another 10 mins. When the food arrived they forgot the drinks! Food quality was poor and of course it was cold..

AVOID!!! Food took over 2 hours to arrive. Half our order was missing. Restaurant staff very rude. Food was cold. Appalling service. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

After the confirmation order email we waited an hour before phoning the restaurant who said that Just Eat should have contacted us as they could not make the delivery. Did not receive anything. Need to check we were not charged.

Food arrived 30 minutes early Lamb Bhuna was lovely lot's of pieces of meat Naan tasted fresh, crispy not as though it had just been warmed up. Peshwari naan was lovely and plain naan was great too. Both doughy and a big size, not burnt. Best Indian i've ordered in a long time, pleasantly surprised!

The food was Ok, I ordered the Rogan Josh and it looked more like a pour on sauce from a supermarket, usually has tomatoes etc but this was just sauce. My partner had the Korma and said it was ok but again no better than a preready sauce of which we could of enough 3 lots of ingredients for the cost of the takeway. Delivery was very prompt and the Keema bread was good as was the onion barges but otherwise I was disappointed. I ordered from a takeaway (which at best I can afford to buy once a month as a treat) to have a break from supermarket own cook sauces but I do not feel that it was the case.

Tried for the first time, bhindi bhaji was weird like made with canned okra, ordered garlic naan got plain naan, everything uniform brown colour except spinach and shocking pink pilau rice. Nice people but not my favourite takeaway.

Delivery was scheduled for 50 mins. I got a text saying they were running late and it would be 20 mins late. When they hasn't showed up 10mins past the revised time I called and was told it was going to be another 15 mins. Took 2hrs for the good to show up. The person at the restaurant didn't even apologise for the late delivery

Ordered from these guys a few times, the food is brilliant. I am from Birmingham and this is the closest quality to that standard of curry I have found in Reading. Excellent.

The food was absolutely disgusting!! I ordered a chicken korma which is supposed to be very mild however it was too hot and spicy to eat and the garlic naan tasted overly salty! I will NOT order from Dilwar again!

Doesn't give any extra poppadoms like other places, I ordered 1 and got 1. Food was nice, naan was the nicest i've had. Est. Delivery time of 60-75 mins but was delivered in 45 :)

Food arrived early but was Luke warm, delivery driver was very confusing when he delivered which meant we didn't actually get what we wanted Won't be ordering again

No mint sauce came with the meal even though I had ordered and paid for it! The main courses all tasted the same ! Even though I had a curry but it was'nt and my husband had Rojan Josh which had no peppers and no tomatoes, the sauces all looked liked they had been pureed down we ate some as we had both been working over 13 hours so were hungry, the chips were awful, tiny little things all soggy god knows where they got those!! No poppadoms, will stick to our normal Indian from now on and we get free poppadoms, mint sauce and a salad they were not open Monday so tried this., never again very disappointing.

Absolutely disgusting! Chicken Kashmiri smelt of vomit and uneatable. Vegetable masala was frozen veg. Never again

Another lovely curry from Dilwar. Finding a local that is consistent has been an issue but with Dilwar things are looking good.

The food arrivedelivery quickly, but was cold and very bland. I ordered a king prawns dish, however I couldn't eat this at all as the prawns did not appear to have been prepared properly and still had tentacles on 😷 Will definitely not be ordering from here again!!

Great that they do alcohol as well, and although it was pretty bog standard takeaway, it was hot and tasty. The dishes were plentiful and arrived hot. The samosas were massive, and a little crisp in places, but wold definately order from them again.

Arrived earlier than estimated time by 20 minutes which was great. Food tasted good and had very generous portions.

Nice taaka daal, rice 🍚 was meagre, soggy and dear, proper veg samosas though, took a long time to come.

Ordered a Lamb dish, it came as Chicken. Butter chicken was terrible, was just tandoori cooked chicken cubes in a thin tasteless sauce. Salad poor. Naan and Tandoori Roti good. Lamb Bhuna good. Order took an hour and food was luke warm when arrived. Average at best.
