Great place for pure vegetarian Indian breakfast.

Tried this location for the first time. Food is authentic mumbai street food for those nostalgic about Mumbai College canteen food. The service was also very good. Saloni took our order and was prompt with table service. Location is a bit hard to get to if you’re driving, nearest car parking is at queens road car park or the Oracle

Everything was packed perfectly and arrived warm, which was a nice surprise. The flavors were fantastic, and everyone loved the food. The samosas were a huge hit, and the pav bhaji was not only delicious but also well-packaged. And let’s not forget the sweet gulab jamun—so tasty! Huge thanks to Gopi for being so accommodating with all the dietary needs and for offering discounts along with timely delivery. Really appreciate it!

The food was good, but the service was an absolute let down. The girl with glasses that takes orders and handles service has such bad attitude towards customers and just throws bills and food on the table rather than politely keeping it. The faces made by her were a topic of discussion amongst not just us but also the tables around us. The attitude is like she's doing the customers a favor by serving us. We have sworn by SKVP in the UK and were regular customers but we will now think twice about visiting this branch. The cooks and other staff members were much more polite and warm than this girl that's on the front desk. The food was really good.

I visited SKVP at around 1300. The food was good; but more than that the customer service was awesome. I was served by a lady (don’t know her name - wear glasses) who had a very warm personality and was very courteous. Will visit again.

Food is amazing and such good value for money! I ordered 3 mains and dessert but I wanted to try EVERYTHING. For £18 I was absolutely stuffed. I’ve never tried a cheese vada pav before and it was amazing. The bhaji were perfectly cooked and the gajar halva was perfect. Super happy to see Thums Up on the drinks menu. Only letdowns was the service was a bit slow given that it was quite quiet (but worth the wait I can assure you) and there was no chai left. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Reading. Thank you to Adlin for the great service!

Just discovered this spot after a colleague mentioned it. The food is spicy, delicious, vibrant and hot. Really impressive. Decor is cool. I had the masala tea which was lovely. Great service from Adlin and the crew I'll be coming again.

The food was delicious. I had ordered a paapdi chaat and cheese vada paav and it was very tasty! I was served by adlin and she was very friendly. Will definitely recommend trying this place out, it’s a new vibe in Reading and takes a person back to India!

Great value, spicy, tasty vegetarian fast food. Delivery slightly erratic (the samosas arrived after we'd finished eating our other orders) but as long as you don't mind that... What's not to like?! Our server Adlin was very friendly.

Food changes like weather, one day very fresh like home cooked. Another day they served us rotten sambar, chutneys with plain dosa.two hour old made tea, Tasteless Vasa misal pav (like warmed since morning) vada pav, where pav was so hard that it was kept out for long after warming up. My concern is not taste, everyone can't make it to your expectations in food, but how can someone like SKVP serve rotten food and then tell two customers that it's the right taste!!! I am really concerned on hygiene. I understand you try to give india vibe in aura(by you super smelly & dirty restrooms) of your restaurant, but in India even a thela serves fresh. Really need improvement and a thorough quality check!

Food taste is exceptional except tea. Tea was horrible in taste. Service was taking time but worth waiting for good taste.
