Probably the best Indian takeaway I eaten in the local area. I had the Balti Vegetable Chilli. It was ridiculously good with great underlying flavours inc. cardamom. The portion was such that I have frozen some for a second helping. Tried my friends’ vegetable biryani and vegetable madras. Equally great. The price was unbelievable. Will certainly be using this takeaway in the future.

Lovely supper club experience - delicious home-cooked Indian food, and a friendly and interesting group of people. We’ll be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding! My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Pavel’s Indian Restaurant, and we were completely blown away! We ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala with Keema Rice and Naan Breads, and it was, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever had. The lamb was perfectly cooked, tender, and infused with rich, deep flavors. The sauce was beautifully balanced, with just the right amount of spice and creaminess. The Keema Rice was fragrant and packed with flavor, complementing the dish perfectly. And the naan breads—soft, fresh, and absolutely delicious—were the perfect finishing touch. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you’re looking for top-quality Indian cuisine, Pavel’s is the place to go! We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended! 🔥👏

We had the sharing menu it didn't disappoint loved everything we had the mogwli gin is particularly good our second visit and will definitely come back. My only observation is noone greets you until they are ready. There were 3 bar staff who said nothing to us while we waited patiently for a staff member whose role was seating us.A quick someone will be with you in a min is better than not saying anything at all no eye customer service is everything. However the people who served us were lovely friendly and explained the menu. A must visit we thought it was also value for money.

Brilliant curry as vegetarians, service is great. Has become our new regular since re-opening and blows other local curry houses out the water. Thanks guys!

Cool, quirky place with a nice atmosphere and decor. Contemporary twist on Indian classics. We had a friendly, charming waiter who knew his stuff and recommended our dishes. We had the oxtail and lamb mains with a few sides and were absolutely stuffed. However I would have liked a spice warning as both dishes were slightly too hot for my palette. I had the boozy lassi, which was a bit more like a milkshake than the lassi I am used to but still very nice. Nice place if you're visiting Brighton and want to avoid the usual classic chains.

I recently moved to the area and have now ordered from Spice Lounge twice in the last 10 days or so. The food is top quality and the Chicken Dhansak I order is as good, if not better, than I've had anywhere....I moved here from London and have been to India many, many times so I don't say that lightly. Abdul is also a very nice fella and when I arrived after trying to order in advance online (network issues) he still gave me the 20% discount and extra poppadums. Jabel, who was helping out, was also a nice friendly bloke. People with this great approach to customers combined with quality food deserve to have a thriving business. Excellent!
