Worst curry I've had in years, foolishly let my boyfriend order the takeaway for once and because our usual was closed her picked this place. The curry might as well have come from a jar, we ordered a bhuna and a garlic tikka - they both tasted the same apart from one had a few chunks of garlic in it. Bland, tasteless, the chicken was rubbery tasted like the crap you get from Tesco, probably reheated. Absolutely no flavour whatsoever, the poppadoms were like the ones you get out of a packet, one portion of rice was so sticky it was more like sushi rice. My partner can cook better curry than this place and that's saying something because he's not the best cook! Embarrassing waste of money

Prawn Balti. In its favour, there were a lot of prawns in it, and the naan was good. But the sauce was very soupy and lacking flavour. The staff are nice enough.

We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty all our curries were - vegetable korma, chicken tikka jalfrezi, and chicken korma. Also, decent sized portions with rice included. Good bread. Only downside was limited range of veggie curries, but as the veggie I was happy to get good food (have been disappointed by other Indian takeaways elsewhere). Definitely recommend and will be returning.

As much as I adore the Chilli Pickle, sometimes you don’t want to spend £50 of your hard earned cash on a simple takeaway. Living near Seven Dials have often passed this place and curiosity got the better of me. Celebrating the return of my tastebuds after C19 wiped them out for most of August decided to be lazy and get a mid week takeaway. Most old fashioned curry houses serve dry chicken, over sweet sauces and murdered vegetables, but I am always on the look out for a fairly decent cheap hit of a chicken madras. Ordering: simple and straightforward Timing: ready for collection when promised Portion size: Mummy bear; not too big and not too small Taste: bang on. Chicken juicy, vegetables treated with respect, perfect rice and a delicious mint sauce to dunk crispy popadoms which were cooked in fresh oil. Two mains, rice, naan, popadoms, side veg for twenty quid and just round the corner. A great way to spend your disposable income

First time ordering and I chose Curry Inn because of the good reviews. The chef used far too much sugar - even in the spinach paneer which should not taste sweet. The mushroom bahji was just mushrooms cooked with onion in the pan - It was wet and not dry and crispy as we expected. On the plus side the food came on time and you get free popadoms but I will not be ordering again due to the above reasons.

He estado yendo a Curry Inn para mi Indian Take Away's por años.

I enjoy the food because it is freshly made and tastes good. I make a special effort to get my takeaway here because it is delicious and the service is very good. The curry chicken and the chicken birianyi are excellent and are my favourites. I also find that the prices are quite reasonable. Many of the other people who are waiting for their food are also regulars. Highly recommended.

We have lived in Brighton 20 years and often bemoaned the standard of Indian takeaway. No more. The Curry Inn is consistently excellent. Tonight we ordered Chiken Shashlik, Chicken Tikka Dopiaza, CTM, Motor Paneer, Garlic Naan, Brinjal Bhaji and Onion Bhaji. It was all hot, well spiced, non-oily and beautifully cooked. Finally found our takeaway.

Let's face it, there's some terrible Indian takeaways out there. Some of them might be ok but use dodgy meat, others might have big portions but too spicey. Even the good ones can have the odd bad dish or change hands. Not so with Curry Inn. Been getting my curry from here for years and NEVER been let down. A good range of dishes, decent quality every time, and most importantly they use proper quality cuts of meat, no reformed crap. Really friendly staff too. PS I don't work for them, just a happy customer! PPS to all those with negative reviews, what you say might be true but I'd like to know where else in Brighton is better

We ordered the chicken tikka masala and the prawn and mushroom curry. The entire meal was underspiced and unimpressive. The chicken tikka was near inedible. The curry was so utterly underspiced there was no flavor to describe. Even if it had been tasty it was quite overpriced. Would not recommend ordering from this venue.

Been getting take aways from the Curry Inn for the last two/three years. Very surprised to see any bad reviews on TA. The staff are friendly and engaging, the price is reasonable and the food is fantastic. Usually go for a Chicken Tikka Vindaloo (which can be made hotter or cooler to suit your taste) The Dansak, Korma and regular curries are delicious aswell. Get rice, naan bread and poppadoms and you've got yourself one scrumptious meal. Only slight negative is occasionally they don't give you enough meat (only 4 or 5 chunks) but it's still one of the tastiest Indians I've had (restaurants included)

Ordered a mixed grill, two Madras strength dishes (one prawn and one chicken) plus naan, chapatis and some vindaloo sauce. The sauces were not hot, so very disappointing as we were looking for a fiery curry experience. The poppadoms were cooked in old oil so tasted stale. I couldn't eat them. The yoghurt sauce was far too sweet. The mixed grill was dry and over cooked and the bread was bitter and dry. Disappointed.

I ordered a Chicken Jalfrezi, which came with Poppadoms x2 and the usual onions. The poppadoms were too salty and the Jalfrezi was mediocre, Jalfrezi should be spicy, but it was mild. I have tasted hotter peppercorn crisp. There was hardly any meat, that I actually thought I was eating a vegi curry. This is the second time I've been here and if I remember correctly, on the first visit the food wasn't that much better.

The bread was good. The curry, not so much. We had a veg balti and a prawn curry. Both were seriously lacking in flavour and the prawns were tiny, over cooked and very chewy. We ended up taking it back, something I've never felt compelled to do before at any take away. The staff were friendly and very reasonable about giving us a refund. Sorry Curry Inn, we won't be coming back.

Best and most consistent Indian restaurant I’ve had in Brighton. Their Garlic Chilli Chicken is by far my favourite in comparison to other restaurants and great value for money. Do not be fooled by other indian spots local in the area with perhaps a more modern decor, this is the best one, I’ve tried most in hove and this stays the most consistent and I convert anyone who likes Indian to this place.
