Really friendly atmosphere. The food was great and there was something for everyone's taste. Generous servings and they even remembered it was my birthday and brought out a cake at the end of the meal. Would definitely recommend.

Servicio - ejemplar. Dhansak no estaba en el menú - cuando se le pidió que era un absoluto "no hay problema". Comida absolutamente deliciosa. Grandes porciones - tiene una comida para llevar para mañana! No se puede calificar toda la experiencia lo suficientemente alto. Haz una visita - ¡Te desafiaría a no disfrutar!

Lovely food friendly helpful staff

hands down, this is the best Indian restaurant in Brighton, associated with skilled staff and the food is just quality. The interior design is spot on it feels very cozy which makes the vibes great!! would highly recommend… Great example of what the south coast needs!! (P.S very family friendly) keep it up guys!!👌🏽👌🏽

Nos apetecía una comida india y pensamos que probaríamos Pavel ya que estaba a poca distancia a pie de nuestro hotel y no queríamos aventurarnos demasiado lejos en nuestra noche de 1 calle en Brighton. No nos decepcionaron. La comida era muy agradable y el servicio era bueno. Nos gustó tanto que volvimos una segunda vez durante nuestra estancia de 4 noches en Brighton

Nothing to do with “the fork” did an online booking with your outfit but had no table reservation when I arrived but pavel was very accommodating and gave us a really nice table

Have been looking for a decent Indian takeaway for ages and Pavels is it! Food is delicious, lots of choice and always deliver quickly and food is hot. Not overpriced like all the others in the area too.

Super food. 10 of came on Monday. Management was fantastic and food was outstanding. Highly recommend3d if your visiting brighton sea.

All our dishes were extremely bland. The butter chicken had no taste and was mostly oil. Disappointed as this has such high reviews

after giving an excellent review last time. the chickin vindaloo was watery and not at all hot. maybe a diffrent chef on Mondays but not impressed this time.

Love this restaurant. Been here a few times now. The staff are always friendly and the service is good. The food is very tasty and there is plenty of it. They are happy to let you take uneaten food home. The decor is fresh and clean.

My wife and I had different curries. Both were really bland and flavourless. Not impressed at all. A shame as I’d looked forward to trying Pavel for some time.

Had a lovely meal, tasted great, have been a regular for a while and it's always to notch. Manager and waiters are very friendly and helpful. Poppadoms were crisp and fluffy, curry had the right amount of spice/sweets, great stuff!

Starting dish of poppadoms was great, good kick in the pickle, cooling mint yoghurt and smooth mango. Plenty to chose from on the mains. I went for an old favourite chicken tikka masala, when it arrived looked very pale, upon tasting was strong in coconut and was very creamy and mild. I asked the waiter about the dish, saying it tasted like a korma, the reply was "we don't use additives so it will be lighter in colour" and something about almonds, "we can change it but it'll be the same". So ok it was tasty but not what I ordered hence the low rating,

I think this is my first time only giving 5 stars. Dansak was spot on. Didn't enjoy my special fried rice as much but that was probably just my choice and I could have chosen better.

It’s way far from indian food , and for the food quality is over priced one of the worst indian restaurants in Brighton, the biryani doesn’t have the spices and oily plus the checkin butter is soup. 🤮

Lovely food and staff but didn't control the noisy people in the restaurant so couldn't wait to leave.

10/10 service and food. The owner was amazing, he was friendly and welcoming. Made sure our tummies were full. The atmosphere was great. 100000% recommend. The tandoori chef was amazing. Made sure all of our food was to our tasting.

Great food but getting a bit expensive.

It was our first time of using this Indian and we wasn't disappointed. I pre ordered online using the Chef Online app. I was able to request what time we wanted the food to be delivered, it was very easy to order. The food arrived 15 minutes early was nice and hot and freshly cooked. There was plenty of chicken in the korma and it was good quality chicken. We would use this take away again and I would recommend it to family and friends.

Me and my friend visited the panel last Friday night . Being men we hadn’t realise the time still couple people finishing off, but I said don’t worry take a seat I’m very friendly and chatty. The only ones left in there had a lovely meal chatted about India general and I chicken pasta was lovely and my friend had a Jalfrezi, it’s no rush to get rid of us a lovely meal, we had a recommend it highly.

Love this curry house and will always come back time and time again but this time wasn’t their strongest offering. Disappointed that the Ceylon curry had almost no heat to it and that the £9 chicken tikka main was fairy bland and lacking in any kind of chargrill as one would hope for off the grill. The chicken tikka masala isn’t my usual choice but thought to give it a go, was a little lacklustre and lacking any vibrancy plus not much meat sadly. The chaat, dhal and saag paneer were absolutely delicious and the staff were prompt and kind

Probably the best Indian restaurant in Brighton. Panel has been my go to to place for many years. Dining in and ordering a takeaway, the quality of food is always exceptional! Whilst it may not be the cheapest, it is certainly great value for money and worth every penny. Dining in provides a whole new experience, with five star service from attentive staff. I understand how this venue is a multi award winning premises! Definitely a must for any Indian food lovers out there. Reservations are advised.

To begin with, the owner is very friendly and welcoming. I ended up eating here two nights in a row. The food is amazingly tasty, and the portions you get are more than worth what you pay. I hope to come back here again next year. Thanks for the great food and conversations.

Good quality food, I'll be back!

I came here on my way home from work for a snack of sag aloo. When ordering the two male members of staff were talking about me in what felt like a dismissive way. They then said I had to pay cash, which I didn’t have so I ordered another side dish, tarka dal which I’ve had in many other Indian restaurants. At home the potato dish was good but the dal was just yellow water with few lentils that I could see. I had to sieve it in order to find a few lentils. It wasn’t even like a thickish soup, just water. Worst dal ever.

One of the best meal we have had after a long time, never thought we would find something amazing like this restaurant in Brighton as well as the beautiful area the food was even more beautiful with efficient staff with great service. Whenever we cone back to Brighton this place is a must visit again., even the chef came out of the kitchen just ti greet us and make us feel welcome. Well done chaps see you again soon.

Highly disappointing. Asked for a table for two to be told they were closing. We left then 45 mins later when we passed again people were still entering. Can only assume the staff had an issue serving LBGT, which was very strange for an Indian in the village area. Davina

First time trying food from this takeaway and it was well worth it. I had the chicken chat and goan chicken. Two dishes I’ve never tried but my choices were well worth it! Absolutely delicious food! The food was delivered early and the delivery driver was considerate of the time of night I’d ordered (food came just before 11pm) and called to let me know he was outside which was much appreciated as I had a sleeping toddler in the house. I will be ordering again and trying other dishes on their menu as there is so much choice! Definitely recommend!

Food was early today but I appreciated that. Really liked my Chicken Tikka Garlic Balti. The Nan was perfect. The sauce of the Balti was thick and had garlic or onions in it so wasn't just sauce. Lovely Chicken. I must remember this one for the next time I order. Very pleased with it.

Greeted by Naz with a big smile & given menu's. Went for the 'set meal" at £35 & well value for money. Food cooked to request of being madras hot & it was perfect. Whole evening was a pleasure. Great atmosphere/spotless clean restaurant & great service with excellent food. Highly recommend.

We went there for food today. But the first experience was very bad. The attitude of the person standing at the front office (the person wearing a half sleep shirt - I think he is the manager) was very bad. He behaved as if we had come to eat food. There were only 2 customers there, yet we ordered food and had to wait for half an hour. But food was very bad. Avoid this hotel if possible.
