We visited Sindhoor restaurant for dinner over the weekend with friends. The ambiance of Sindhoor Restaurant is cozy, with beautiful decor that transports you to India, offering a glimpse of its rich culture. The soft, traditional music playing in the background added to the overall charm of the place. The service was prompt and they ensured that every need was met, and the food arrived at our table promptly. We ordered Chicken Chettinad in non-vegetarians and Paneer Butter Masala in vegetarian. The paneer dish was delicious and I didn't feel the chicken dish was authentic. The Chicken Kottu Paratha was awesome 💯. Overall the dining experience at Sindhoor restaurant was good.

Absolutely delicious and lovely, friendly staff. Recommend the prawn and scallop bhuna :)

Ordered a takeaway with delivery time of 1hr + After 1hr 20 mins receive a call from the driver lost but local to us ( max 2 mins away ) Gave clear directions and reaffirmed the postcode Still no food 10 minutes later Rang to check to be told new driver & food in 20/25 minutes 30 minutes later … food arrived We checked with delivery driver that food was hot … assured yes He took the cash We opened up the delivery of stone cold food Microwaved the chips but dry and disgusting after almost 2 hours out and about so rang & got food collected and money returned Not a great experience Diabolical service and cold food Will not be ordering again

We have been customers of kingshishr for many years and never had and issue until last night that has put a bad taste in our mouths. For a family birthday meal we put an order in and were told it would be delivered within the hour which was perfectly fine. 90 minutes later we still had no delivery, so I called to see where the delivery was and how long it would be. I was told it had just left the restaurant along side a few other deliveries. The person on the phone was short with me and quite snappy in their replies.. The take away then came roughly 15 minutes later so 105 minutes after they had previously stipulated. I understand take aways get busy and can’t always be accurate on timings however, half of our side orders were missing, and what was received was cold - practically freezing no heat was left on the food. So I called to speak to the manager but was told the manager was too busy to take a call and what makes this 100% worse the person who took the call from kingfishr actually hung up the phone whilst I was mid conversation. When I called back the person said “I thought you’d finished”. I asked for the persons name to be told “I don’t give people my name I just work at a restaurant” and again when asked to speak to the manager I was told again he was too busy so I asked for a call back which never happened. Absolutely outrageous customer service. And have been left with a bad taste. Will not return.

Should have known this wasn't going to be a good experience when we booked. Booked for 9.30 but asked to be earlier as they closed at 10.30am. Strange as it's advertised 11am. Arrived at 9.10 . Ordered and the food arrived. Dry, tasteless and king prawn masala sauce was sickly. Afterwards waiter wiped the table down while we sat there. Another came to take payment but was interrupted by the manager about something else. Everyone who left had the door held open but not us. I booked after reading reviews never again for us. I been to many Indian restaurants across the country and the is the worst one by far. Never again.

Great for a night out, superb service, friendly, good menu and the food was absolutely spot on. You can take your own alcoholic drinks which really helps you if in a budget. We loved it and will be back.

I’ve known Tony for many years, Good kind hearted straight up Man, The quality of food has always been on point, i’ve read the reviews am astonished with some, it can only be from competition, or sad deluded people, genuinely been going their for 25 plus years, the lads their are great food has always been good!! I suggest you try it for your self💯

Delicious breakfast, best indian tea ive tried and staff are really friendly.

Gone right downhill. Its just average takeaway food. Madras and buna ssuce just watery and bland. Small amounts of meats king prawns are not king. Pickle tray poor and nan dry Quite expensive 2 pop pickle tray 2 meals £41 God whats happened to the place

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SOHO SPICE, PREVIOUSLY DALCHINI. MY HUSBAND ORDERED CHICKEN JALFREZI MADRAS HOT BUT, THE MEAL WASN'T UP TO SCRATCH. MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN EATING HOT CURRIES OVER 50 YEARS AND HE WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH SOHO SPICE MEAL. I ORDERED CHICKEN BIRYANI MEAL BUT, SADLY THERE WASN'T MUCH CHICKEN TO BE SEEN IN THE MEAL. I DID LEAVE MY MAIN MEAL AND IT WAS VERY VERY DRY! I HAD TO ASK FOR MORE SAUCE. WASN'T UP TO A GOOD STANDARD AT ALL, NOT WHEN WE'RE USE TO GOING TO ANAZ INDIAN RESTAURANT IN DARWEN ... WHOSE VERY HARD TO BEAT. WE SHALL NOT BE GOING BACK TO SOHO SPICE, BRADSHAW ROAD, BOLTON.

La comida y el servicio eran perfectos. Un menú imaginativo que no he encontrado antes y mi plato elegido no podría haber sido mejor. Personal amable y cortés, en un ambiente muy relajante. 100% recomendable!

Not been since before Covid and the rebranding from the Cumin (now Royal Indian Restaurant). So wanted to go back with the family and to celebrate belated birthday with them. Place is excellent. Has been redecorated inside so looking nice, the food was excellent and the staff are very friendly, professional and polite. So had a lovely evening meal out. I'd recommend this restaurant to eat in or as a takeaway and will be going again.

AVOID!!!! It took 3 hours to arrive and half of the order was missing. Spent £32 on bad quality food. Iceland food is better
