Truly excellent Indian food , great service one of the best.a good selection of dishes strangely no prawn tandoori but we will forgive that.

We visited last night for a good curry.The chicken tikka was not very good.Infact horredous.We complained to the waiter ,which he reported to the chef.We had no feedback from the waiter about what the chef thought.Please ppl stay away

Waiter not so smart ask me 3 times same think order lamb chops i got back chops fatty and no season i try to complain the guy ask smart like this is lamb chops no mate theyvare the cheap part of the lamb and your draft beer stink you did not do line cleaning in last month have a good day

I have been going to the Red Fort since it opened, the food, servis and friendly staff are excellent. I would highly recommend.

First time we've tried the Red Fort and can highly recommend. The staff were friendly and the food very good. They included some poppadams with the order and a complimentary drink whilst we waited (takeaway) - much appreciated, thank you. Would certainly go back in the future to sample other items on their menu.

I have visited here on numerous occasions over the past year and the food has always been fantastic. Each dish is freshly prepared and cooked to perfection every time. You will not be disappointed!

Late night curry after leaving the Lytham Festival. The place was very quiet so service was quick. We started with standard popadoms and pickle tray. Then mains included GFs ongoing UK tour of Chicken Tikka Marsala, a chicken dansak and a lamb dish which was begged for with no spice. For me, a chicken tikka podina (only lamb listed on menu) which was so good. Naan breads and rice all good. Standard Indian lager on draught. After eights with the bill. Nice end before it was time to be coming home.

My partner had the chicken tikka masala which was so bland, it was like chicken with a tin of tomatoes on top, no taste at all. This wasn't how a chicken tikka masala should be, very disappointed & over priced for what it was. Definitely wouldn't return

Food was absolutely lovely, service excellent and the staff were helpful, efficient & attentive. Fantastic.

Thought we would have a takeaway for my birthday, regret it now. The early bird sizzler special was special all right, pretty tasteless, meat overcooked and not in any way shape or form contained any moisture, dish was a severe disappointment, could have done better myself, probably won’t be returning. Real disappointment on your 50th birthday!

The food here is well presented, generous portion sizes and very tasty. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. Authentic music which I personally like, it adds to the atmosphere. Only small thing for me was the restaurant felt a tad on the cold side.

First time in Lytham so wasn't sure what to expect. Glad we chose this place because the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Large portions (had to take some food home) will be returning soon.

So sorry that I took so long to add a review, it just slipped my mind. Anyway, the food was absolutely delicious! Don't ever hesitate to go there. (unless it's Ramadan, of course!). We really enjoyed our curries, with Peshawari naan and rice. Lovely food, no complaints whatsoever. We had to go for a long walk afterwards, because the food was too good not to eat it all!

We have a shop next door to the restaurant, the smells from the extractor fan are insane, a customer said it was superb so we went. The owner, Ali, was super friendly and advised me to pick a dish on my questions, my wife had Biriyani. We also had a keema naan bread, we have eaten curry all over the world and in the UK. THIS WAS IN THE TOP 2.

We had a takeaway from here whilst visiting the area for a few days. Staff were friendly and our order was ready on time & piping hot when we ate it. The meal was ok, nothing to write home about and quite honestly lacked any real flavour.

Went on a Friday night, all four of us had different mains after a selection of chutneys. The mains were acceptable but lacking spices. In fairness the staff were pleasant and efficient.

Whilst the food was good quality to be honest there was a real lack of flavour. No heat or depth of flavour, I had to add salt to mine to taste it!!! Definitely not an authentic flavour and would it return

We've been meaning to try this place for ages and really enjoyed the the food, which we we all thought was excellent quality, generously portioned and good value. But the drink prices took the bill rather two high for our budget - and we only had two pints and two halves of beer and two soft drinks. We didn't see those prices advertised anywhere so next time we'll either have to drink less or get the food as a takeaway.

I had a delivery from this restaurant last Saturday for the first time. Everything was so fresh and there was lots of it. I will definitely be visiting this place soon and will also use the delivery service again couldn’t fault anything.

Chose this restaurant after checking out reviews and FSA website (5 stars). Visited early on a Thursday so opted for the Early Bird menu - popadoms with chutney tray and main course £9.95. Parked right outside. Pleasant surroundings and welcome. Excellent varied menu, really tasty food and decent sized portions. Staff were very friendly, chatty and welcoming also. Overall a great experience and worthy of a return visit.

My wife and i went for a take away at Red Fort..We normally eat in,but were in a rush.As usual the manager was so helpfull and friendly.the price of the take away is about the same price as eating in.Our take away was chicken rajahi and garlic nan bread,poppadoms with mangs onion and chutney..it was £8.50..it was superb.the chicken ticka was lovely with sauce,it was reasonably priced.but the service is outstanding..

Highly recommended with tasty treats and fantastic crispy naan bread. There aren't many restaurants that serve a fish curry as it can be tricky but I was not at all disappointed. Right in the centre of town and with a warm welcoming atmoshphere the staff were very keen to recommend dishes to us. I'll certainly be going back and can't wait to taste some of the other wide range of dishes that I hadn't seen before from the extensive menu.

The food was by far the worst ever experience of Indian food we ever had , the manager or front desk manager was kind of aware of the experience we had but nevertheless , too bad as you must pay for some food that has seen India probably only in a post card. 4 people and 4 different dishes can not be a mistake but a general flop.

The food was by far the worst Indian cuisine I have had ever had, the decor is woeful and the staff were indifferent - My advice - go somewhere else !

We ordered by phone and as they don't deliver, we picked up. We ordered different meals and they were all excellent. Good portion sizes. As a nice bonus, the manager thanked us for picking up by giving my sister and I a small bottle of wine each.

Very Average. Presentation very poor thought I had been given a plate of road kill. Staff were indifferent. Needless to say won’t be going again.

As a local, I have visited this curry house frequently but I am afraid standards are nowhere near as good as in the past. The tandoori biryani I had was very poor - with very little chicken and a boiled egg that tasted off. For some reason the rice was covered in tasteless tomatoes which I was not expecting and seemed to have been thrown on as an afterthought. The veg curry that came on the side was insipid and tasteless. A pint of very average beer is also, at nearly £5, very over priced.

Had a great meal tonight at the Red Fort. Food and service great. Big thanks to waiter Dill formerly of the Balti Nights Swinton Manchester for looking after us and treating us as his old friends. Thoroughly recommend this place.
