OMG just had a chicken tika rogan josh from this place recommended to us but bitterly disappointed it was so dry and absolutely no sauce with it you buy a curry for the sauce but this was so dry I don’t think we will be buying from here again

Ordered a curry last night, took over 1 and a half hours to come, curry was awful grease on top of curry alot, chips looked like they was from days ago, usually good food from there both me and my mum are poorly bad stomach ache and sickness 😷

Absolutely incredible meal and even better service. Special shout to Kas who couldn’t do enough for us. A very wholesome place with incredible authentic food. Already looking to return soon.

(Ordered for takeaway!!) Ordered 2x butter chicken and one garlic nan and a cheese nan. Garlic one came fine, the cheese one was barely melted and they used the cheap pre grated cheese which explained why it didn't melt. The cheese came just on top rather than inside the nan like ive always had it. The 2 "butter chicken" that i ordered were SHOCKING. They came with carrots and kidney beans which they shouldn't have and it tasted like a mix of a vindaloo (spicy), rogan josh and a chicken tikka masala. Yes i know it gets done differently everywhere you go but that was by far NOTHING like a butter chicken. I even asked for it mild in spice and when i received the order, it was even labeled "butter chicken". My partner doesn't like spice so his full curry just got binned. Honestly i didn't like it and half of mine got binned. Considering as they're Indian's, it's a bit embarrassing messing up their own cultures food. Will not be ordering from here again.

Excellent meal as usual on Friday night. Great service and easy hot food. We definitely will be back! Ainsdale is a lovely place to visit and with a regular train service we come from Formby quite a lot.

Drove past this while in the area working in brinscal which is a nice area made have a look and reviews were good so gave the Sunday 3 course deal ago, the place was really nice and modern and tables very spacious which I do like , food was good and couldn’t complain especially for the price but I do like slightly bigger portions. Staff were really good very friendly and polite. I will definitely come again. Cheers

Placed an order online and the money was taken. I called to check some of the ingredients as I have an allergy. The person I spoke to hung up pretty quick and then stopped answering the phone. So I went to the store and they said they it’s under new ownership and it’s the previous owners who have taken my money and I need to contact them for a refund.

Amazing staff, excellent food and reasonably price . Really friendly and lovely staff and the food is unreal . This is a hidden gem . Fully recommend!

I ordered nearly £50 worth of food, one item of which was a King Prawn bhuna. It was disgusting. I've never known "King Prawns" to be mushy, and like paste. About half the dish was like that, the rest of it resembled something from Area 51, and in no way could be called a King Prawn. I followed procedure and filed an online complaint. After waiting a week and receiving no reply I am left with no choice but to leave this review, to warn other people what they may be letting themselves in for.

What a disappointment. We went for a family Christmas Eve meal and was massively let down by poor service and awful food. We waited an hour and ten minutes for starters to arrive and they were terrible, just totally bland, even my 8 year old commented that they were tasteless. I understand that it’s a busy night and can accept waiting longer than usual but the standard of food was totally unacceptable. For the first time in my life I cancelled the main courses, paid for the starters and drinks and left.

Excellent food, The Sultan Of Lancaster is my favourite Indian restaurant in Lancaster. My husband and I are trying to eat healthier, so I ordered a healthy option, chicken tikka and my husband had a lamb madras. I requested if they could please reduce the oil if possible. The food was perfect and prepared with minimal oil. Highly recommended.
