Went as a party of five for mother's day and was disappointed. The food was excellent as usual but when we booked, five days in advance we stressed that we wanted a table in the main room and we were told that had been done. When we were showed to our table on the day it was in the conservatory where they had put families with small children. When the main course arrived one sauce had been forgotten and we had to tell the waiter three times about the omission, finally got up from the table and went to the bar to ask for it. After the meal and the plates were taken away,we weren't offered the dessert menu or even hot towels, nothing. Finally had to ask our waiter three times for the bill, don't know what was on his mind but it certainly wasn't waiting. Overall not a great experience and I'll be leaving it a while before giving it another try.

This place is just one stop away (Heald Green) and 3 minutes on the train from Manchester airport. Then a 5 minute walk. Good traditional Indian food. This is our second visit and has been just as good as last time. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Food is very good and served hot. Half the price and twice the quality than anything we’ve ever found at the airport.

Came here to try out the food challenge and while made a good dent in it, had a lot still left to go. That said it was good food, and the service was really friendly and encouraging. It was a Wednesday night, so only 1 other group in, so fairly quiet in terms of atmosphere.

Our 1st visit to Suhana was a very unpleasant experience. We felt like we were treated differently to everyone else in the room. We felt like we were discrimated against. For example food was served in a trolley for others. But they carried earthing in the hand to serve us. And when we entered we have been asked to be seated in the middle table and after we settled, another person( looks like the manager) offered a different table at the back of the restaurant. He said "it will be quieter at the back" but we felt very uncomfortable with this statement. The taste of the food taste was not great. I would not recommend or go this restaurant again.

Last night, prior to going to the rugby, I went to this restaurant. I ordered Tandoori chicken, which was fantastic, beautifully cooked, and really tasty. It came with a choice of a curry sauce, which I chose Madras, again this was spiced to perfection. The service was very friendly and I can highly recommend this establishment.

Would have taken pictures of the food but my partner and myself were SO HUNGRY from a previous restaurant we had just visited before coming to Spice Chilli that when the food arrived (within 5-10 minutes of ordering by the way!) we dived in and demolished it. The food was absolutely GORGEOUS. We will most definitely be returning for either takeaway or to eat in again. Also 2 things I'd like to add for future customers: 1. Bring your own alcohol if you wish to have alcohol with your meal (we brought a small bottle of Jamesons to mix with pepsi) 2. You can order bottles of Pepsi or other soft drinks instead of the individual cans. The only slightly negative part of my review is about the atmosphere however me and my partner acknowledge the fact that we visited on a Wednesday Evening (14/5/2025) when it might not be as busy and so on. There was a TV playing YouTube videos of Indian music at a nice mellow volume. Besides me and my partner there was only 1 other customer eating in so honestly the atmosphere of the restaurant wasn't necessarily bad, just empty but again we put that down to the day of the week. It did not effect our overall experience. We will be returning at some point.
