OMG , from the moment you walked in , what a welcome . 80/90 ‘s nite of music and dancing .. Food amazing and staff so attentive. Can’t wait to come back to Much Hoole ..

Turned up without a reservation and where welcomed to wait for a drink while we waited for a vacant table, which wasn’t long at all. Staff were welcoming, friendly and really accommodating. Food was beautiful and reasonably priced, will definitely visit again

Absolutely suberb as always. This is by far the best Indian restaurant in the area. Food is 10/10 every time, however what sets this place apart is the staff. Each and every one of them are so friendly and attentive. They even remembered us from last time and asked after my parents who weren't with us tonight. Fantastic!

Absolutely excellent meal .. highly recommend the elephant sharing platter food was delicious and Max absolute legend made us feel very welcome himself and his staff couldn’t do enough for you even though I ruined his table cloth 😂❤️ we will definitely be returning

Just had our first visit to this restaurant. Everything from service to food was excellent. The staff were so welcoming and the food was of a very high standard. We will definitely be back thank you Nellie the Elephant a little gem.

I visited last weekend and had the Nellie Bussi and it was honestly the best curry I have ever had. We were part of a big group of people at prime time yet the service was quick and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again soon.

So the family ordered a takeaway tonight … The majority of the food was tasty … I asked for a lamb tikka starter … 4 tiny pieces of lamb … tough lamb… now for £8 I’d expect just a little more … and tender… disappointed

Amazing takeaway, One of my all time favourite currys is the Nellie the Elephant Bengla Handy Special, and my wife love the Granny's Butter Chicken with chicken Tikka

First visit since it was taken over by new owners. Nice to see it was refurbished. Busy when we arrived but shown straight to our table. Service was first class as was the food. Look forward to visiting again.

The best meal we have had in a long time, the overall experience was great. The service and attention to detail was fantastic, the staff were really good. The food was fragrant and tasty, my wife said the peshwari naan was the best she had ever tasted. We will he going more often and trying more of the menu.

We arrived on time for our 7.30 reservation but were asked to sit at the bar till our table was ready. The restaurant was fairly busy but not full yet it was 20 mins before we were seated. After our popadoms etc we were asked if we were ready for our starters and we said yes yet it was 30 mins before they arrived. The sheekh kebab was barely warm and the chicken in pastry was actually potato. Again on clearing the dishes we were asked if we were ready for our mains of whether we’d like a rest. After the wait for our starters we said to bring the mains out straight away….. it was another 30 mins before they arrived. My chicken was over cooked and the veg under but my partner enjoyed his fish. I had to order a drink 3 times before I actually got one. We won’t be back.

Made our first visit, following a recommendation, and were very pleased with the welcome and the friendly yet professional approach of the staff. The menu was a very varied one and the quality of the food was very good, hot and freshly cooked, HOWEVER £4.50 for a pint of lime and soda, £4.50 for a pint of lemonade, really? We are not locals and, sorry, unlikely to be drawn back when in the area.

First time we have been and it was wonderful. Service from all the staff was professional and friendly and the Manager was a fantastic host. Food was first class, plentiful and very tasty. Restaurant decor and ambience was great. Will definitely return and really recommend. Thank you for a lovely meal from the three of us.

Had a booking with San Marco for Christmas eve, after several phone calls from the restaurant we realised our booking had been cancelled so we chose Nellie the Elephant so glad we did, this Indian is superb the atmosphere was friendly as were all their staff, the food was amazing all served hot and at very reasonable prices. Excellent freshly cooked food. Extensive menu with different items than usual Indian restaurants. We were a large Christmas party and each course was served promptly and efficiently. There was live music and the whole place was buzzing! The starter and main portions were generous and the prices very reasonable. Also we weren’t ripped off with drink prices. Bar prices cheaper than some local pubs. An excellent start to this new venue. Keep up these standards and will be a thriving business. I will definitely return as lots on menu I want to try.

Excellent friendly service ….beautiful decor .. food absolutely delicious..poppadom and chutneys .. chicken madras , pilau rice .. grandmothers butter chicken with garlic rice which was amazing !! very generous portions .. had to bring some home ! All staff smartly dressed and attentive . Aware of their participation in the eat out scheme I ate here on Tuesday evening and was presented with a bill without the eat out scheme discount applied. When questioning this I was told that I hadn't asked for it. I found it difficult to understand why the restaurant would not give me the benefit of the discount without my asking, given that they would claim it back from the government. Might they have claimed the discount from the government, without passing it on to me????

Had a really nice time this Sunday, new items on menu, it’s always nice to try something different, lovely starters and mains, a real treat, excellent service as usual, nice to be back and staying safe at the same time. I especially love the cheese and onion naan bread can’t wait for next time.

Well after 12 weeks of lockdown we ventured out for the first time. All very strange, what would it be like? Will it live up to our expectations? Well I can assure you it did, the food was absolutely fantastic, social distancing was observed at all times. The staff were brilliant. Lal and Tops thank you for lovely evening. Definitely leave the choices up to you again.

Heard some good stories about this place so we thought we’d give it a try. Wanted something a bit difference so we thought we’d give the BBQ dishes a go and believe me, we weren’t disappointed!! Had the chicken shashlik and the BBQ Deal B option. Wow! The meats were so flavoursome and succulent and the customer service was second to none as we had so many questions when we called to order! The only downside is that because of the lockdown the restaurant is closed to eat in at the moment so we cannot wait you go and have a proper sit down meal once it reopens. Defo customers for life now!

This place has a car park. Once inside there is a bar, and then plenty of seating. I placed my order the food came out and was barely lukewarm. I was really hungry, but could not finish the dish of chicken korma, as it was tasteless, and not very warm. The server seemed ok. We asked the server one question, and he was at our table for a good 5-10 minutes telling us his life story. There are toilets. I would not visit this place again.

The food here is absolutely delicious. We have visited on many occasions and is another one of our treat restaurants. We even came here the day my partner was due to give birth to our first baby! Our most recent visit was on valentines weekend. The food was amazing as always and the service was fast and friendly. The manager is always so friendly and helpful. We love it here.

Food was okay, only reason it got one star. Phoned and booked on a deal, weren't told about any exclusions until it was time to pay up despite mentioning we where on the deal. Long waits for service due to the fact two managers where just stood around while one waiter frantically tried to tend to 15 or more guests.Wouldn't go back because despite the decent food the whole experience left a bitted taste in our mouths.

Very disappointing meal in what used to be a wonderful restaurant. Has it changed hands recently ? Duck very dry and flavours bland. As we entered the restaurant we stood by the bar waiting to see if we could get a table. Three members of staff totally blanked us and service all night generally poor. I live locally and have been many times but last few visits have have been getting worse. Such a shame.

I don't even want to give 1 star but you have to give 1 star went last night for my girlfriend's birthday the the food was absolutely rubbish I had fish curry with some like kind of spiced mince at the side of it. Who puts meat and fish together? I've seen bigger & better fish in my fish tank, I wouldn't feed it to my next door neighbor's dog because he wouldn't speak to me again. I've seen good reviews on here saying good reviews if you lot think that's good food then don't ever cook me a meal! My Wife and I frequently visit Bangle Fusion, the staff are friendly and food is excellent. I love the Lamb Madras, but for something a little hotter the Balti Roshan is delicious, my wife said they make the best Korma she has ever tasted, definatly worth a visit.

We were very late in trying to book for NYE but Bangla fitted us in at the eleventh hour!It was really busy and we had a 20 minute wait for our table but that was no problem for us.The food, as always, was outstandingly good and served quickly by polite and attentive staff.We will call in here again!

Me and the wife came here last night (5th Dec) for a curry with another couple, frankly we were there so long I wouldn't be surprised to learn we're now well into the 2020's. We were sat in the bar area awaiting for our order to be taken but the guy who was supposed to do this however was too busy chatting to some customers who from the way they were all talking must have been good friends. Finally we had our order taken and were taken to our seat and finally our starters came along with the main a while later. All this was being done by the one waiter who was one and having to move at 100mph himself as his co-worker was still too busy fraternising with his friends.The food itself was ok, perhaps a tad bland, the wife wasn't bowled over by hers either.Eventually we got the bill which for just the four of us seemed ridiculous! Some of the food was very expensive, whilst the bar prices were astronomical!Took us ages to finally find someone who we could actually pay just for good measure.Just found the whole experience to be stressful annoying and very slow - was tempting to just start mucking in myself in all honesty. The building itself also looks somewhat dishevelled and in need to of maintenance and updating.Plenty of other decent places for a curry around here thankfully, so we won't be returning.

My impression is that the meats are not cooked in the sauces but are added to pre-made sauces. The service was slow.

The food and drink were overpriced. The starter an onion Bhaji was quite nice but the main course had no taste at all. I ordered a korma as I always do, the chicken was over cooked and the sauce had no flavour at all. I ordered a pashwari naan bread and a plain naan for the table and we could hardly tell them apart. I can’t believe the over all cost of the meal, it was definitely not worth it and I will never return

I was visiting from London to Manchester and was recommended this restaurant. I must say the food was delicious and exquisite. The service was perfect, the waiters did check up on us regularly to see if we was okay and needed anything. The food arrived on time which was perfect. Anyone that tries this place I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

This is a really nice restaurant and such great atmosphere. A very warm welcome and upon arrival we was served drinks. We received excellent customer service throughout. Our family of ten (3 generations aged 3 to 72) met up for my daughters birthday at Bangla Fusion as it is halfway between our Chorley and Southport homes.

Went on Friday with hubby and family to celebrate our grandson s 18th birthday it was excellent we all had something different but hubby and I went for duck breast in a very nice sauce lovely flavors we will definitely come again the staff were pleasant and not in your face but there if you were not sure of some of the dishes.lovely evening all round.

I have not been to this restaurant for over 12 months, on all previous occasions the food as been excellent, we attended last night and I was so surprised to find the food was awful, starters were ok but the mains were terrible, my wife had a korma that didn’t have a sign of coconut, my son had a tikka massala which was light pink in colour and totally flavourless, I had a tikka vindallo which was brown and more like a madras, very disappointing as we have takeaways from there other establishment the laball in Penwortham which is excellent, and half the price, I would recommend this restaurant is avoided at all costs, do the takeaway in Penwortham it’s exellent.

The service is cheerful and attentive, the surroundings are quite opulent and the food is really delicious. We loved the curries we ordered. The meat was succulent and the sauce of my makhan was rich with mushrooms and onions and had a gentle heat.

I’m not usually an Indian food person but had such a good meal there. The food was lovely and was served by excellent, friendly staff and would recommend it it wholeheartedly.

Found this place through meerkat app 2 for 1. Inside is impressive. Good choice of drinks, very friendly service. Food was slightly more expensive than other Indian restaurants but not an issue when 2 for 1. Would go back.

Visited with grandparents who frequent the restaurant took our 3 young children. First impressions fantastic atmosphere good wine list and nice lounge area, shown to our table where we were given amazing service and served beautiful tasty fresh food, onion bhajis best we had, delicious Curry's even the smaller kids devoured the lot. Will definably return again soon

We travel to Bangla Fusion from Leyland as there is no other Indian Restaurant near us that has the standard of food like this xxx
