Spicy Ginger in Warrington

I visit with my family once a month or so. The food is delicious, the staff are so helpful when you want assistance in trying something new/different. We have never had cause to complain. And the weekday 4 course is absolutely value for money. I would certainly recommend this lovely Indian family business.

Best Indian I’ve ever been to for value. I’ve tried Indians all over the country, this is the best.

Take away Give you a second chance as the first was bland small amount of meat Well you did it again All the same Bland no taste and had hotter zinger burger . Sorry but you need to pick your game up with so much choice out there .

Here for my sons 21st meal last night. Welcoming, friendly, swift, great food, got the set menu, loads of choice. Owners son deserves a shout out. We were an odd number so one person was without rice. No problem got some free and free shots!! Really nice atmosphere and lovely evening.

Beautiful meal , I had a takeaway however sat in the restaurant waiting , lovely in there, I was served by a nice young man, my food was delicious 2nd time here definitely get something again x

WlI went with my sons as Geoff Carter on Youtube had said it was good.Very disappointed to be fair. You only get what you pay for. Positives: Friendly Staff, Cheap food Negatives: Poor quality food Watered down sauces for boring poppadoms, tasteless starters, very average main courses Wont be returning.

Shocking popadoms chutney tray awful very runny the dips . Starters were very disappointing and the main meal was the best part about the experience lamb was soft just not enough of it . Beer was nice safe to say I will not be going back there better Indian restaurant out there. ☹️👎🏻

Take away is very hit and miss but dine in always seems slightly better. But for the price it's reasonable.

Ordered two lamb Rogan Josh, two rice. Absolutely lovely. Icing on the cake...the immaculately dressed young man who delivered it. Massive credit to them 👍

Food was good but service lacks forgot orders and was made to wait over an hour for the take out I ordered with my sit down meal also braught empty dirty milk pourer over with our cuppa tea ☕️ and was made to wait a while for this and the bill

A shame because the taste was nice but the curry was swimming in water on my plate

Great curry, and good value for money The only downside was that the waiter nipped out for a cigarette then came back didn't wash his hands then served our food. He absolutely stunk of cigarettes which was very off putting and because of this we probably wouldn't eat here again.

Not good at all, order was wrong no flavour to the food, chicken tikka was dry and the order was Luke warm when it arrived do not order from here much better Indians around.

I cannot recommend this restaurant/takeaway enough! The food is gorgeous and cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding nothing is to much trouble. Will never eat from any other Indian in Warrington again as it will not match this fab food !!!

Ordered takeaway, not used before . Food was excellent, good portions, had a beer whilst waiting and overall was very good value even compared with supermarket deals.

Ordered for delivery on New Year's eve. Food was a little late, it was New Year and they were busy but they kept us updated.👍 Definitely worth the wait. This was the first time we've used them but it will definitely not be the last . Couldn't fault it . Well done guys . 5☆☆☆☆☆☆ 👌

Tikka massala came 5 pieces of chicken in it with watery sauce . Ordered a karahi and no meat was in it 4 pieces of lamb, all onions disgraceful! Asked for a refund , refused stated they would bring a fresh order for us. Got a call back saying that they would only give us a fresh order if we gave back the order we had so expected us to wait another hour on new year's eve starving. Restaurant really gone downhill this past year do not waste your money no value for money and clearly making cuts

Calling late for Curry was hungry following work., pleasant reception place is empty and serve quite fast. Great Beers. Popadoms nice but chutney dish planned. I ordered a chicken tikka pasanda and rice and naan bread. The curry was bland and bread was dry, but the rice was delicious. I have heard it at a restaurant for the Curry I had substandard

We've eaten here before 2+yrs ago we dined in,the host was hospitable and friendly and the food was great, however when we visited more recently the food was tasteless and one of the staff who 'greeted' us (grunted at us) on our way in was rude and made us seem like an inconvenience even tho the restaurant was empty. We heard them wait on the gentleman by the table next to us who was greeted in a much friendlier manner and treated far better than we were, he was obviously a regular.... We also witnessed the same waiter being rude to people coming in to pay for their xmas bookings,the whole experience just made me cringe 😬

Yesterday me and my family visited Spicy Ginger restaurant, The food was very bad and tasteless, I ordered a chilli panner they serviced fried 4 panner pieces with chilli sauce, they didn't know about chilli paneer recipes, the curry was no quality and no taste, They didn't know about the Indian food, taste and recipe, and serve food only Indian name, I never recommend this restaurant, They spoil Indian food and India's name.

So after recommendation we decided to try Spicy Ginger this evening. Placed an order, delivered within the 45 minutes quoted and rather inexpensive, especially when establishments seem to be screwing the customer with prices some 50% higher than 18 months ago. So, I was impressed. Initially. Vegetarian Tikka Massala shouldn't be just potatoes and peas, the Lamb Bhuna was tasteless and so the meal did nothing to make us think we should go there for a meal or use Spicy Ginger as our regular takeaway. It's a shame, we're happy to pay for good food, sadly Spice Island in Bolton is obviously too far away. Take some advice, it's not all about price. Get the food right with the service and you're onto a winner. Lamb Bhuna, isn't pieces of Lamb in your standard curry (gravy) try adding a few spices, excite us, throw a mix of veg into the vegetarian Tikka Massala. I make a decent curry at home, being of two generations ago Sri Lankan heritage I can cook. Please do try harder.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time from here. Meal for one. Seekh kebab starter was nice, ordered chicken tikka curry for main. chicken was tasty, however the sauce was watery and didn’t have much flavour to it at all.

Absolutely vile, both curries tasted exactly the same. Extremely watery. Bland. Popadoms tasted dirty. Possibly the worst curry I have ever had.

The taste of cuisines really require improvement. I ordered vegetarian indian food, but got quite disappointed with the taste.

Very friendly staff. Knew all about large gluten free choice on the menu. Very tasty speciality dishes. Excellent value for money. I would highly recommend 👌

We had a takeaway delivered and everything was spot on. The poppadoms were fresh and tasty, our puri starters were not too greasy, very fluffy and the fillings were cooked to perfection. And then the mains and sides were full flavour, well-cooked and had the right amount of spice too.

What a meal tonight, 3 people, 5 course meal each, bottle of red and large white wine all for £60 and the food and service was outstanding.

Been the pub and got tanked up, stumbled in to the place after wanting a curry! Only went in for a Take away but seeing as I was there and had nothing else to do. I got a pint of cobra £5.50 but at half nine at night can not complain, then thought sod it I'm out I'm here may aswell sit and have my curry! And oh boy I got a chicken pathiea with chips and the curry was beautiful! The spice to flavour was unmated! Not a single but of grease just a good curry with fresh chips! Would of loved to have seen the place packed! Would 100% recommend! Loved it!!!⁷

Had a takeaway from Spicy Ginger and it was good and arrived promptly. Ordered via their website. Spicy fries are really spicy and worth getting.

Very good value for money with a 5 course meal for a little over a 10er. The food was nice but not up to the standard of a lot of other Indians I've been to, not as spicy, a little watery and the chicken wasn't tikka even though I asked for it hence the mark down but the staff were very nice and the restaurant was clean and tidy.

Spicy Ginger is a hidden gem in Latchford, Warrington! We had the set meal for 2 which was 5 courses (appetiser, starter, main dish, side dish, tea or coffee) for £19! Not only was the food delicious, good portion sizes (not too big) but the staff were very attentive and took great pride in their business! We would highly recommend and look forward to going back :)

Everything quite awful, poppadoms very greasy and chewy (tasted like the oil in the fryer hasn't been changed in a while) Tiny portion of paneer tikka. Chilli chips were just soggy frozen fries with a sprinkle of chilli powder. Curries were very watery with hardly any flavour, both tasted identical. Maybe they were just having a bad night as most other reviews are good!

Great food at such a low price on the mid week special.

We've visited here on several occasions and it's always top quality. The food is terrific, the staff are really friendly and it's always very clean and welcoming.

Been in here twice on my own in the past week. Staff are always welcoming and pleasant. Menu is great with loads of different flavours/spices and food does not disappoint. Portion sizes are good and everything I’ve ordered has been terrific. Curry’s are really tasty with lots of substance and the spices very prominent. Sides such as rice and naan’s are terrific too. Very clean restaurant. Excellent service and terrific food.

Food over half an hour late for delivery....phoned twice...answer we are busy...food came and had to microwave it as it was cold. Poor quality, not a great taste...not what I am used to from this place. Don't fo delivery offer if you can't deliver a quality meal
