Amazing delicious food & Excellent service... highly recommend 5*A+

I had lunch at the place during office party. It's quite a big place to accommodate 50-60 person at one time. Food tastes really good. Service was also appreciated. Managing 50 customer with different order was managed well. Overall food experience.

I've read a lot of good about the restaurant on the Web. It didn't disappoint! The food was excellent. Location under a Travelodge is unusual, but the place is a success due to the food and staff. Definitely worth a visit. I'm glad I went and will definitely return.

Visited last weekend . Food was excellent,service very prompt. Nice atmosphere ,staff very polite couldn’t do enough for you. Highly recommend

I'd give it 5 if the food was consistently good. It is good though. Bhajis can often be quite over cooked. It's still my go to restaurant and I'd be gutted if they closed.

My go to place for Indian cuisine in Warrington for five years now, friendly, charming staff, incredible food, great atmosphere and always busy, but the food is never slow to come out!

Food was not up to my expectation, may be the problem with my expectation.

Use this place regularly and Staff are brilliant food great and lovely atmosphere.

Stopped by on the off chance on a busy Saturday evening, despite it being busy they found a table for us. The food was great, the best Indian food I've eaten in a very long time. The chicken in the meals we had was cooked perfectly and there was no grease to be seen in any of the curries we chose. The service from the staff was great too, all very friendly, professional and polite. I would easily recommend a visit and I'm looking forward to going back myself.

Food excellent, you could taste that it was all freshly made using the best spices and ingredients. We had the meat platter, which was delicious, onion barges (the best I've tasted in a long time) followed by chicken tikka massala. Large portions but you are offered a take home tray, so we didn't waste any! Lovely atmosphere with very helpful and pleasant staff. Plenty of parking too. Highly recommended a visit.

Superb food fantastic decor . Nothing is too much trouble for the very attentive staff. Really enjoyed our meals.

Listened to my allergy and made my meal seperate to avoid any problems. Just brilliant. Great service aswell by all staff who attended to out table. All very freindly.

Witnessed a waiter being extremely rude to a table of ladies. Sexist rude bloke with a bad attitude to women. Glad they bit back.

We never got to get into the door, they were supposed to open at 4.30, our table was booked for 5pm and at 5.10 they still weren’t open. No phone call to us to tell us of any changes or issues. We went to the nearby and excellent Birchwood Spice instead.

Popped in for a quick meal. I had malibu chicken and my fiancee chicken tikka massala not rushed. Food piping hot, excellent service very friendly. If in the area would definitely call again.

Delicious food, wonderfully attentive staff and a great atmosphere. Definitely one to visit!

My friend and I have been to this place multiple times over the years, the food was always great, service was great, however the last two visits were a little disappointing. The place was busy but had seats available. Both time had a table booked for 2 at 7pm. Meal was nice and service was fine up until we finished our main course. We couldn't have been more than 50 minutes at the restaurant at this point. We were asked if we wanted another drink, said no. We weren't asked if we wanted dessert. On both occasions we couldn't have been there for more than an hour and as soon as we finished the main course the table was cleared before my fork hit the table after the last bite and we were presented with the bill. There were tables available and no customers waiting to be seated. We just didn't feel welcome anymore, felt a little uncomfortable. Which is a shame, because we enjoyed the food here over the years but I don't think we will be back after our experience on both occasions.

Bombay 8 what can I say the food is to die for, we've probably visited there 20 times in the last 18 months and I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal, The staff are really good, helpful and friendly.

Food is always amazing, doesn't matter what you pick. Only downsize it gets noisy so not really a place for a romantic meal

What a treasure of a restaurant. The restauatant itself was pristine and very tasteful and the service was excellent. The food....WOW I''ve never tasted anything so good and the portions were generous. I've never really been a fan of indian food, but this place was incredible and would be my first choice every time. And, it's extremely reasonably priced. Wonderful..

Brilliant place to eat, the staff are amazing and friendly, food was fantastic (sat with 2 friends and we all ordered the same, my chop came and was about a 5th size of my friends, the staff went and organising another chop with no hesitation).

Went today with as a group of 12. Great service and food. Amazing hospitality by Moffozul bhai. Thank you for everything.

Above my expectations by miles.

The outside of this venue does not reflect how great the food is! We had the vege biryani, what an amazing meal! Also tried the curry mixed with pineapple for something new, and it was amazing too. Overall the curries were flavoursome and felt like it was home cooked. We ordered takeaway on a busy Friday night without ordering ahead, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and we were only waiting about 10 minutes before receiving our meals. Highly recommend!

6 of us went out. Food was really good. We had a really good range from butter chicken to madras garlic chicken. Starters were delicious. Onion Baji were the best in a long long time. Chilli Chicken was super. Poppodms and dips were amazing. Best value we have had in a long time. This is our new favourite curry house after our local place told us to "Get out" because they were too busy. (they weren't)

Food is delicious, above our expectations specially the curry’s. loved saag paneer. Good size portions served even for side dishes.Nice ambience too.

Asked to order before I had stopped speaking to my partner food ok but the onion barges were burnt and dry

Worst service ever, staff was so rude, we went this afternoon to have our lunch, me and my friend, food took nearly 30 mins and when the food arrived it was half of it and cold When we called 1 of the staff to check on this he said, can you take it easy food takes time in a very harsh way Staff said if you don’t want to eat you can leave It was such an absurd behavior from the staff I never had such an worst experience, We left without having our lunch, would never recommend Bombay 8 to anyone. Sorry to say but worst service and staff.

Great value for money, had the Rajma Lamb Tikka and it absolutely fab!

Quite good. Poppadoms were stale but there was no quibble and they knocked them off the bill. Lamb Balti I tried was pretty faultless and the Meat Samosas were packed full, sadly, the Onion Bahjis were extremely dry, tasty but dry and hard. Good but room for improvement

Very nice food, tasty and not as expensive as I expected.

Ordered Palak panner and Nan, they were great. Vegetarian biryani was good .

I personally found the 🍲 food outstanding there place is clean tidy and well laid out and toilet s r clean as well staff are very tidy very Pleasant and reasonable priced I think

Been here loads of times. This place is absolutely our "go-to" for Indian food.

The best Indian food made by brilliant chefs and served by fabulous waiting staff to their customers in a gorgeous environment. These hardworking people open the front door for you, politely ask you if you would like a drink, while you wait for your Take-away or table. They spend time talking to you and enquire if your food is OK. The after service is just as good and they open the door and wave you off, wishing you a lovely evening. Also New Year's Eve on the last sitting is bloody fantastic. We wouldn't go anywhere else as the other Indian restaurants, just don't come up to the standards of Bombsy 8. Love this place so much.

We’ve eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. The food choice is excellent and everything is always freshly cooked, with generous portions at a reasonable price. The restaurant is very clean, with comfy seating and good quality table linen. The staff are lovely - very friendly and professional. We always leave feeling valued as customers.

Great little Indian restaurant tucked away on the Gemini retail park, food was delicious and very plentiful. The staff are so lovely very friendly and polite I can't wait for my next visit.

Disappointing experience. Popped in for a late dinner after a few years and it's nowhere near as good as it used to be. Lamp chops were cremated and the chicken karahi was bland and tasted of raw uncooked spice.

Food was OK though a little pricey .

We had a takeaway tonight from here (and have done for many many years and will continue to do so) - quite simply the best Indian in Warrington and one of the best I’ve ever had - fantastic service , great portions and the quality of the food is just amazing!

Me, my partner and two of our kids visited for a meal tonight. We were very impressed with the service an quality of food. I'd give 6 stars if I could as the staff went above and beyond. We will definitely be returning. Another thing to note, all portions were well sized. The owner should be proud of this place - the staff seem to be. Thank-you for an enjoyable evening.

Amazing food, brilliant staff and an excellent restaurant. Menu is varied, with plenty of choices.

Large restaurant that seems very popular with locals. Called in late weekend afternoon and predominantly filled with families with children. Food was delicious, staff were attentive and efficient.

Very much 'one sauce' type food, no idea why people rave about it, as not great, and not cheap. Honestly say haven't had one meal that would make us want to go back. Not even, 'average'.

Not been here for years. It was very busy but they had a table for the 2 of us. Amazing freshly cooked food. Poppadoms and chutneys were brilliant. There chilli jam is very moorish. Onion bhajis are the biggest I've ever had. Bigger than tennis balls. And the best I've eaten. Mix Jalfrezi was good. With keema rice. But my wife chicken tikka korai. Was the winner. Very tasty and rich. Garlic naan was good. I would of gave them 5 ⭐ but they short changed us at the end. Definitely return tho. 👍

Been coming here for years. But tonight they waiters were like bulls in a china shop. Not one of the waiters had a sense of humour or any charisma. All of them just fat messes. Didn't come near me my entire main meal to ask if all was ok. Onion Bajhi was as dry as a sponge. Pathia was more like a massala. Had one pint, but if they'd come near me I could have had a few more. I asked one of the baffoons if they had WiFi, and he said 'Yes' and walked off. Time to look for a new local curry house.

Family birthday meal on a Sunday and had the lunch menu, which seemed a bargain. Unfortunately the 7 meat eaters who had chicken said the curry wasn't right, watery and tasteless. We paid the bill because it's what the British do but all 7 had bad sickness and diarrhoea. The vegetarian was fine. Tried to contact and got no response. We've been here many times and think a refund is in order. Was our favourite Indian for get togethers. Such a shame!

Firstly, and most importantly, the food here is super tasty and so fresh, it's easy to see why the restaurant has one many awards. The menu is varied and includes some unusual dishes as well as the old favourites. The only downside (hence 4 stars) is that the restaurant is noisier that we'd have liked. Whilst this is probably due to there being few soft furnishings to help mute the ambient noise from other tables, although it was not busy when we dined sadly the surrounding sound levels rather took the gloss of for us. But that's just us - the food itself is truly superb.

To start off with the draught beer was flat (Cobra) The curry I ordered came wrong. The second attempt came wrong also. The third attempt was correct, but didn't come with any rice. By the time my rice came, everyone on my table had finished their meals. I asked if I my meal could be bagged up to takeaway. They came back with a foil tub + lid and just left it on the table for me to scrape it into the container myself. Feeling too embarrassed I just left the meal on the table when we left. Won't be going back again. No atmosphere in there. Will stick with restaurants like Cinnamon Lounge and the Spice of India. The only reason I gave it a 2 star was because the naan bread someone gave me was nice. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't of eaten. Very expensive for a poor experience

We celebrated my brothers 60th birthday tonight with the family Brilliant night wonderful food and great service staff were friendly and very attentive

The chef must have had a day off when we came. The starter puris were okay, the shami kebab was definitely pre made and defrosted in the microwave (dry as a desert). The mains we got was a lamb shaslik and ginger and garlic chicken curry and we asked for it to be home style spicey. It was absolutely awful not because it wasn’t spicey but it literally tasted of nothing. We had to out of kindness say we wanted to take it out because I was about to throw up from the taste of the chicken curry. We did not finish the mains. Fried rice was plain boil rice with corriander sprinkled? I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to because it was awful. Service is a 10/10 but the food is not up to standard.
