The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wirral North West

Had a curry delivery on 14th April 2025 the chicken tikka madras @£8.00 it was salty beyond belief. We rang to complain and were told that they were very sorry and that for the next order would be free of charge.We had ordered online. We ordered several other items on that particular order. Today when we rang to make an order again their reaction was absolutely abysmal 😡 we were told they would look into it and were made to feel liars. We always order online from them and we cannot express our disappointment enough. As we speak they are sending a curry as compensation for the worst curry my partner has tasted in his life!! A curry for a curry would be perfectly acceptable, but we are less than impressed with the woman dealing with it. By all means order your meals from this place, as I have previously found it of good quality but if things go wrong I am afraid it is a very different story.

Really disappointed by this place tonight, got in around 6:15 for our booking and after being seated we immediately asked if we could order our 1 year olds meal first as we would like to get him fed as soon as possible which the guy understood and said that was ok. After poppadoms and chutneys about an hour had gone by but still no kids meal, we was getting worried at this point and baby getting very restless so got up to ask the guy if he could check that the kids meal had been ordered, guy goes into the back and comes out to confirm this is getting done, an hour and a half later and finally food comes out but no kids meal at all, I wasn't happy to say the least, when I asked about the kids meal he looks at the ticket confused but says oh they'll just go get it, it was clear they hadn't even started this meal and was only just starting to cook it now, after another 5-10 minutes of waiting I asked the guys to just leave the kids meal as by now it was too late and we had to try and give him some of ours instead. Two guys came over to apologise about this and then tried to make out they was doing us a big favor by not charging us for this kids meal (oh thanks for not charging me for a meal that we didn't receive 👍) I was livid at this point and that obviously just made things even worse, all in all a massively disappointing visit and definitely wouldn't recommend taking any kids here. Shocking service.

Absolutely outstanding food I order from here all the time food is always hot, tried most of the menu and literally can’t fault it, staff are fantastic and this is by far the nicest Indian restaurant/takeaway on the Wirral, you can dine in or take away. GET YOUR ORDERS IN YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sorrryy but he curry sauce is too watery. The tikka sauce is so sweet that it’s like tomato bbq sauce 😢

Couldnt get through on phone to order home deliver

Dropped in for a takeaway. Ordered lamb tikka which was very dry and chewy. Main meal lamb vindaloo only 3 small pieces of lamb and the rest bulked out with potatoes. Very, very poor, won’t be going back.

I’m 58 yers old , and I think that’s the most gorgeous meal I have ever eaten, thank you so much . I’m not one for commenting but thank you to all and your team 10/10 ❤️

Great food, the rogan josh was chicken tikka rather than beef but was still gorgeous! Tasty, great portions and value! Highly recommended!!

I've only lived in the North West for 2yrs and in that time I've completely fallen in love with Mowgli's (Water St). I genuinely didn't think it was possible to find a restaurant to top it. However after visiting both Liverpool and Heswall Barton Rouge restaurants I've been blown away by the quality of service & food. I would not hesitate to recommend Barton Rouge to anyone and cannot wait to return. Thanks to all the staff at Heswall for helping me embarrass my uncle Shaun on his birthday tonight 🥳 🎂 🥮

Chicken tikka Pathia. Not impressed when I ordered in person an hour prior to collection and they had no knowledge of my order so they rushed it through. When I got home the food was spicy hot but lacking in any Indian flavours. It resembled spicy rice and tomatoes. i had to throw it back in a pan and recook it with the flavours it should have had. Still became pet food the next day.

Ordered on line 10/2/24 found out couple hours later shop is closed long term still processed my card payment Will be taking this therefore

Great food, however a lot more expensive than others we’ve used and £5 delivery is a bit steep! For that reason we probably won’t use again

First time to Magic Spices. Food was superb, real authentic Indian dishes. Prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent and the manager took time to speak to us personally. Decor was contemporary. Overall it was a great evening out. Thank you.
