Zamorins is a nice restaurant serving food of an area in the South of India but other popular dishes from other areas too. It's our favourite Indian restaurant in Whitley Bay. We have never been disappointed and have been visiting for about five years.

Disappointing, the Nan bread was undercooked. I could smell the raw dough and couldn't eat it. However, the rest of the food was nice.

Great food, wonderful service, and they support Palestine - thus I support them. Truly enjoy eating here. The only thing I'm missing - and this is incredibly nitpicky, I admit - there are no traditionally Indian desserts on the menu, no mango lassi, and not even spiced tea with milk (aka chai). There's really nothing for me to complain about other than missing a couple small staples I'd expect from an Indian restaurant. Food's been great across the board! Happy to come back here whenever I'm in the area!

We had the Thursday/Sunday offer menu. It had a good choice of starters, mains, sides and breads. The food was spectacular to use my husbands words. Service was great, and because the restaurant is fairly small, the atmosphere was cosy on a cold winter's evening. I'd recommend this place without hesitation.

Overall Impression For just £14.99, the three-course meal was fantastic value for money. The quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the quick, attentive service made for an excellent dining experience. Everything was served hot and full of flavour, making it a meal to remember. We will definitely be returning!

Namaste has moved to Royal Quays outlet. No longer in Whitley Bay! Not a lot more to say but need to write more before it can be accepted by TripAdviser

Excellent food and very courteous service. The room was a little cold, but I dropped in just after opening so it was just warming up. The prawn on puree was a perfect blend of savoury bread with sweet and juicy prawn bhuna with a subtle level of spice. For my main dish I ordered the chicken tikka karahi and a garlic naan. This is the best naan and curry I have had in a long time. Naan crispy in places where it has got nicely scorched, and fluffy and savoury with garlic all over. The karahi had succulent cuts of chicken and a mouthwatering spicy sauce with lots of onion and green pepper. To my regret I had to leave just a little bit of sauce because I had gotten full but if I could have I'd have requested a small roti to mop up the rest of the karahi pan to a polished finish! Superb. The price was very fair too and the Cobra beer went very well with my food.
