I don’t normally write a review, I used to get my take away from some where else, ( not naming names /) so I decided to try baburchi , and I haven’t loooked back , every meal has been excellent, I started my hols on sat , so treat us to an Indians , my husband had king prawn biryanis , I had chicken rogan Josh , we shared a garlic naan and had a pompadour each, it was bloody delicious, we ate every bites, every time we ate something it was mmm,m that’s delicious this is delicious, cannot find one fault

It was red hot when it arrived too. Driver was friendly. Will definitely order from there again.

Was disappointed with the last place on the high street I got a takeaway curry from, so thought I’d give this restaurant a try. Pleased I did as it was delicious. Bhajis were really crisp and fresh. We had a bhuna and a balti, and whilst the sauce seemed to be the same, there was a subtle difference between the two in terms of flavour. Gorgeous nan bread - best I’ve had in ages. Promptly delivered (direct from the restaurant). Will definitely be back.

Ordered Baburchi box meal the only good thing about it was the Kurma sauce. Chicken was tough God only knows how old the onion bahji was, nan chewy . Delivery on way to wrong door.Very disappointed have not ordered from here for a while and won't be ordering from here anytime soon .

Went with family fora sixtieth birthday as usual it was perfect a mixed kebab for two was divine king prawn on puri gorgeous not greasy and lamb rogan superb in fact perfect what a night and take your own alcohol but the waiter/ owner is a diamond well done to every one

Chips tasted not fresh. Potato dish too hot

Unfortunately the kebab meat in the masala kebab was burnt so couldn’t eat 70% of it, threw rest in the bin. Usually the masala kebab is great but I won’t be ordering from here again & especially if I don’t get the refund I’ve put in for.

The driver got lost so rang me and still struggled to find me. When the food finally arrived it was barely warm and the onion bhajis were way to oily and inedible. I would like a refund

Food is always fantastic from here. We have always ordered takeaway, the food is a little more expensive than other takeaways but we didnt mind. I am very disappointed though to learn that when paying through the Baburchi website and selcting the option to tip the delivery driver(£3) the drivers dont get them and the owner keeps it for themselves. Very bad!!! So always tip the driver in cash at the door.

Food was boiling hot, massive portions on set meal for 2 with loads of meat 😍 Got so much food left! and nice level of spice in the Bombay aloo and spicy chips! Will be back thanks x

First time in trying this takeaway and we were very impressed. Got the munchie box & everything was very tasty & arrived piping hot. Chips had a very nice spicy kick to them, so the yogurt defo came in handy! We would recommend and will defo be back. Thanks 😀

Kinda looks like a takeaway with a few tables wedged in. Only takes cash and no alcohol but not an issue cos you bring your own. Even cheaper! Food was simply excellent. The best bombay potatoes ever. Everything fresh and tasty. Generous portions. Superb. Massively recommended. Friendly staff

First time ordering from here which we chose based on the reviews. The food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh, full of flavour and good sized portions. Plenty of meat in the curries and starters, proper thick cut chips, LOADS of garlic on the naan which is always a bonus, and the onion bhajis were a good size too. This is going to be our go to for Indian food. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful food, with very friendly and attentive staff, I'd also recommend ordering from baburchi directly instead of overpaying just eat ordering prices, tandoori mixed grill is outstanding best I've ever had, went in with a party of 10 and staff couldn't of been more friendly or efficient and all food was perfection, best Indians in wallsend and most likely newcastle by a mile

Food was ready pretty much perfectly on time, food was piping hot and cooked perfectly. They did forget to put in one of the nan breads, but after calling them up to ask they offered to deliver it for free. I only lived just round the corner so I popped in to grab it and he gave us free poppadoms as an apology. Top bloke good food canny complain!

Outstanding! This place came highly recommended so we booked for a birthday meal. The service was excellent but the food was even better! As per usual, we ordered far too much food but the variety was amazing. Authentic, regional dishes and some curry varieties I’d never heard of before. Each dish was full of flavour and we were spoilt for choice. Even the fussy eater had a try which we were impressed by! There is the option to take the left over food home with you which is a nice touch. The atmosphere was lovely, very relaxed and friendly. We particularly liked the bring your own alcohol quirk but for the non drinkers the soft drink selection was really good and really reasonably priced. Thank you Baburchi! We will be back and will most definitely be recommending to others!

Beautiful lamb Ceylon I usually order madras and lately that has been losing taste with only heat but no flavour but the Ceylon was really really good and flavourful not just hot

I asked for my curry to be made milder and they did this without question. The food came piping hot, a very friendly delivery person. My meal was delicious, fresh and the lamb was tender and very tasty and I would definitely order from here again.

Really disappointed tonight first time ordering here, asked if the tikka was red in colouring & told yes directly, it was no where near red & seemed to be more like a tikka sauce & didn’t much taste like the usual tikka you get in Indian takeaways, the onion Bahji was stone cold & we are only 2 mins away from takeaway destination. Won’t be returning sadly

We went to Barbuchi on Saturday 25th the food was absolutely gorgeous, the staff were brilliant. The price of the food was very good. I would not hesitate ( I won't recommend any place to eat,as I don't normally recommend anywhere to eat but I will make an excemption here) to come back. This is a little gem of a Indian restaurant best in Wallsend.

All the food was lovely, found my new Indian from now on.

Fabulous food and speedy delivery. I ordered the Baburchi spice box and added Buna Prawn on Puri and Chicken Chat to the order. The curry I chose for the spice box was Mixed Buna (beef, lamb, chicken and prawn). Everything was absolutely delicious and was enough for a few meals for one over the weekend. Highly recommended. Ordered a takeaway meal.for delivery via messenger it was delivered well on time, ordered meal 2 with a couple of changes. Also Ordered chicken Rogan Josh + chips All main meals were very tasty and lots of chicken & lamb price was good value for money as this served 6 people. This was our first visit. Will definitely be back.

Just had our meal tonight everything was fine but £40 and they forgot to include the mint sauce which my husband love’s especially when he has a tandoori mixed grill which takes the dryness off. Please check before you deliver is my motto otherwise ok.

Delivery was 20 mins later than stated and by the time we sat down the food was tepid - almost cold.

First time ordering and despite the error I made when ordering they were very accommodating and happy to resolve this for me quickly. The food was delivered quick and was really nice. This is my first experience with Baburchi and won’t be my last will certainly order from them again.

The wife booked a surprise 60th birthday party here , and everyone said the food was delicious, so much so a friend that was there had her 60th a year later, great service and the staff were brilliant, and it’s the first port of call when we want a takeaway.
