Literally everything tasted so good! Very tasty lamb biryani made with good fresh ingredients, large portions. 100% recommend. 👍👍👍

Outstanding! This place came highly recommended so we booked for a birthday meal. The service was excellent but the food was even better! As per usual, we ordered far too much food but the variety was amazing. Authentic, regional dishes and some curry varieties I’d never heard of before. Each dish was full of flavour and we were spoilt for choice. Even the fussy eater had a try which we were impressed by! There is the option to take the left over food home with you which is a nice touch. The atmosphere was lovely, very relaxed and friendly. We particularly liked the bring your own alcohol quirk but for the non drinkers the soft drink selection was really good and really reasonably priced. Thank you Baburchi! We will be back and will most definitely be recommending to others!

Really disappointed tonight first time ordering here, asked if the tikka was red in colouring & told yes directly, it was no where near red & seemed to be more like a tikka sauce & didn’t much taste like the usual tikka you get in Indian takeaways, the onion Bahji was stone cold & we are only 2 mins away from takeaway destination. Won’t be returning sadly

We went to Barbuchi on Saturday 25th the food was absolutely gorgeous, the staff were brilliant. The price of the food was very good. I would not hesitate ( I won't recommend any place to eat,as I don't normally recommend anywhere to eat but I will make an excemption here) to come back. This is a little gem of a Indian restaurant best in Wallsend.

Fabulous food and speedy delivery. I ordered the Baburchi spice box and added Buna Prawn on Puri and Chicken Chat to the order. The curry I chose for the spice box was Mixed Buna (beef, lamb, chicken and prawn). Everything was absolutely delicious and was enough for a few meals for one over the weekend. Highly recommended. Thank you for gorgeous food!

Ordered a takeaway meal.for delivery via messenger it was delivered well on time, ordered meal 2 with a couple of changes. Also Ordered chicken Rogan Josh + chips All main meals were very tasty and lots of chicken & lamb price was good value for money as this served 6 people. This was our first visit. Will definitely be back.

Just had our meal tonight everything was fine but £40 and they forgot to include the mint sauce which my husband love’s especially when he has a tandoori mixed grill which takes the dryness off. Please check before you deliver is my motto otherwise ok.

First time ordering and despite the error I made when ordering they were very accommodating and happy to resolve this for me quickly. The food was delivered quick and was really nice. This is my first experience with Baburchi and won’t be my last will certainly order from them again.

The wife booked a surprise 60th birthday party here , and everyone said the food was delicious, so much so a friend that was there had her 60th a year later, great service and the staff were brilliant, and it’s the first port of call when we want a takeaway.

We have been to Baburchi a number of times and every meal we have had was fantastic and tastie. Staff very nice and friendly and you can take your own alcohol too or buy soft drinks at the restaurant. This restaurant is an asset to Wallsend

This is a definite must try if your ever in wallsend the food is on a different level to other Indians in the area sit in or take away food is always amazing and very reasonably priced if you choose to sit in you can take your own alcohol in with you great friendly service nothings a bother

Excellent takeaway my go to Indians was closed so I try this one 3 weeks ago and have had my Friday curry ever since delicious in every way We had a family meal on Saturday and ordered from here every one enjoyed the food with 6 empty plates

Absolutely amazing service I was in a party of people who are celiac and they went above and beyond to make sure that the food was safe for her to eat. The service is amazing and the staff are so friendly. We will definitely be back the food was beautiful.

First time eating at Burbachi and found the food excellent. Totally as good as any I've had in India or Sri lanka. Sadly I've never been to Bangladesh but better than other Bangladeshi restaurants I've eaten at. If only you delivered to whitley bay I'd be doing takeaway regularly. But we'll certainly eat there again. Really Lovely staff too. 👌

Great food at a great price and very good service

The food here is superb, we have been a customer and have been one of their delivery drivers for a year and a half and what a fantastic family business they are to work for. I would definatly say they are the jewel in the crown for good food, prompt service and they look after their staff. That to me says it all. We no longer work for Baburchi due to I'll health but we will continue highly recommending them in view of how they treat their staff and the first class food they produce. We wish to thank Baburchi for treating us with respect, empathy and dignity as delivery drivers. They have been outstanding.

The staff are super friendly, giving a brilliant level of service. The food is literally the best Indian cuisine in the area, so fresh & tasty! Ive experienced take away & dining in, and I seriously cannot recommend this local gem enough to anyone! They have great special deals for both take away & dining in (kids under 7 eat free), and a good sized menu. You can take your own drinks & alcohol when dining in too. 100% recommend, will definitely be back again soon.

Great food and reasonable prices. No license so you need to bring your own drinks, but that works out well.

The king prawn Puri was the best I've ever had. Deliciously spiced with a crispy puri bread - not saggy or soaked. Fish kharai was very tasty and well spiced - hot without overpowering. Overall an excellent meal. We had the place mostly to ourselves. Bring your own booze. Winner.

I originally loved the lamb curry I have had several times from here. My last experience was devastating I couldn’t believe it almost choked on a hair hoping it was only one but searched around and every spoon full had a hair in it. To top it off my partner also had hairs in her meal. So sad as this is now not going to be an option for my Indian meal that I once loved but just couldn’t face being put off as you can imagine it’s devastating and it went straight in the bin. My stomach turns at the thought of receiving another meal the same so now I’m unfortunately going to avoid.

I was visiting the area last night and got a takeaway for my family. Veg korma, chicken tikka masala and subdries. The food was excellent and we all liked it a lot. Especially the chickpea side, which we had not tried before. It was good value in comparison to other places I used.

Most of our group said this was the nicest curries they had ever tasted. It’s unassuming and the restaurant feels like it needs a bit of an upgrade but don’t let that put you off. The staff were lovely, I couldn’t fault the food and it’s BYOB! Would recommend for dine in and takeaway and will defo be back!

I got a takeaway from here a couple of weeks ago, but only getting round to writing the promised review now. This place is stunning, the best Indian takeaway we’ve had in a long time around North Shields. Top quality restaurant food, fresh, incredibly tasty and great portion sizes. The only downside, the bread (chapati?) was missing from our chicken chaat (which tasted so good!!), but all is forgiven. We’ll definitely be back and we have recommended this place to all our family and friends. Keep it up guys!

Hands down the best Indians I’ve had in a very long time. Very authentic flavours, large portions, we ate in and most of our party had masala which everyone commented was delicious (it looked it) I had kharhia (think that’s how it’s spelt) it was fantastic, you could taste the spices and flavour. Our starters were also cooked to perfection, The service was impeccable also, unfortunately I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name but out host couldn’t do enough for us. Also very reasonable priced. Worth every penny

We just had another exceptional meal from these amazingly good chefs . Try the fish Punjabi kharia it was so so good , my new go to dish. chicken saag gosht also really tasty. Great potions, piping hot and very well priced . Recommend as top Indians in Wallsend.

Been wanting to try this place for ages. The baburchi special box is unreal and worth every penny. The flavours were well above expectation. The chicken tikka was soft and moist, the spicy chips were soft in the middle and crispy on the outside, the plain pilau rice cooked right, sauces very tasty and full of flavour, best nan bread I've ever had from an indians and the lamb was very tender and rogan sauce was perfect. 11/10 from me. Will definitely be ordering again. Great service from the staff when I went in to collect.

Just tried a takeaway from Barbuchi but unfortunately was disappointed with the flavour. Vegetable Rogan and sag aloo were lacking in flavour and far too peppery.

Ordered the set meal 2. Overall was ok for the amount of food and the price. Negatives were: the "sheek" kebab was awful in taste and definitely mostly beef with very little lamb content. The chicken tikka masala tasted ok but was not as advertised, it was not marinated with tikka spices. Was just "chicken in a masala sauce" . The onion salad was on the turn and was not edible. The lamb bhuna was oily but there was plenty of meat.The naan was quite dry. Positives: plenty of rice, cooked perfectly, poppadoms were spot on and the yoghurt dip was nicely balanced. Bombay also was nice with plenty of potato.

Do not order from here!! Ordered through Ubereats. Delivery driver gave my order to someone else. Called to say I didn’t have my food after 90mins of waiting. To which I got told he “delivered it!” Of course I didn’t have my food otherwise I wouldn’t be calling. Again just got told he “delivered it” Didn’t even come across their mind to make it right and get the order delivered properly! Just got told to ask for a refund through ubereats sorry bye. Can’t comment on the food as it never arrived

Forget the over priced akbar in newcastle city centre this is the best food ever reasonably priced bring your own booze use it or lose it coming back tomorrow support it also the owner is a diamond support support

At my recommendation family had a fantastic takeaway from this baburchi so I'm going with friends tomorrow night to this restaurant bring your own booze fantastic had lots of meals in this restaurant the owner is a diamond perfect use it or lose it ten times better than the over priced akbar in the city centre

This is an absolute gem of a place, tucked away down Wallsend High St. From booking, arriving, carefully taking account of vegan dietary needs, the setting, the range, prices, quality and amount of food - everything was absolutely first-class! Arrived at restaurant. Met by a little and large comedy act. Found our own table. More attemted humour Looked at menus ordered soft drinks. Scotsman couldnt understand us. Left without ordering food or drink. Never to return complete shambles. Staff need a "training day"

Was recommend by a friend, first order tonight and it was delicious. Perfect onion bhaji, amazing Tandoori Chicken and Tikka Chicken, loads of salad and good amount of pickles with the poppadoms too. So much food for a really decent price. Just got yourself a regular customer.

This takeaway is amazing!!! Seriously from speaking to the guy on the phone who was so nice...delivery guy was very pleasant and the curry and sides we ordered were fantastic. I can not fault it! Ordered chilli chicken with rice and nan and onion baji starter, right hotness and flavour, onion baji was not up to scratch but still nice so overall a 5 from me.

Literally just finished my food from this place. I am a huge fan of Indian food, and I have to say, one of the best curry’s I’ve had. I had the chicken Punjabi kharai. Amazing. So fragrant and tasty, and not too spicy. Definitely one of the best I’ve eaten. My girlfriend is vegetarian and has a slight dairy intolerance. They were so happy to help with that and she went for a kurma in the end. It was great. So was so happy with it. Will definitely be back again.
