La primera vez que visité este restaurante indio de lujo escondido detrás de Cadogan Hall por Sloane Square y solo lo hicimos porque había recibido un vale Virgin Experience para un brunch sin fondo como regalo. El restaurante está abajo sin luz natural, pero está bien iluminado y muy bien decorado. Hay varias áreas distintas, y las mesas están bien espaciadas dando la sensación de su propio espacio personal y para este viernes a la hora del almuerzo estaban tocando una banda sonora de Jazz relajada. El brunch es de cinco platos (si incluyes el Keema Nan) y tienes asignadas dos horas para consumirlo. Sin un vale normalmente es de £ 45 , o £ 65 con Prosecco ilimitado, pero fuimos por una botella de tinto de £ 40 de la carta de vinos en lugar de la actualización Prosecco. En resumen, el servicio fue ejemplar, y la comida era muy buena de hecho. We are new to area so thought we would use our local restaurant. Unfortunately our first time was not a good experience. It was a cold evening and when we arrived we were shown to our table which was by the window but it was obviously heating haven't been put on long it was very cold and being sat by the window didn't help. We add some poppadoms and ordered our main meal. It was so cold we did not take our coats off and in the end we asked to be moved. We got moved to another table which was right by the door to the kitchen which wasn't very nice because the waiters were walking in and out of the kitchen and it wasn't very private we felt we couldn't talk properly. My main course was ok but my partner had chicken tikka unfortunately it was very dry and chicken quite rubbery. I appreciate it was a cold evening but surely put the heat in on the long before people start to arrive probably won't return

Food was fine, reasonable choice of curries and a few alternative options well cooked and seasoned, good sized portions Sadly the service was terrible, inattentive and slow. Disappointing.

Fue una experiencia muy agradable para mis gustos. Finalmente un restaurante indio que sirve comida a la paleta india. No edulcoradas, no engañado de los sabores de la India. El Biryani de pollo tiene un gusto increíble, cardamomo, pimienta negra, perfectamente sazonada! y el pollo de mantequilla masaala es más que un simple endulzados aroma.

Madhus nunca deja de complacer! El personal está siempre a mano para atender a todas las necesidades, y Manoosh el gerente y su personal fue más allá para asegurarse de que nos cuidaron gracias!

Our dinner at The Light of India last night was simply wonderful…the food was, as always, outstanding, thanks to Maruf, our service was outstanding…attentive and very welcoming! We always dine at the Light of India each time we visit London, and have recommended this lovely restaurant to our friends!! Hope to be able to dine again very soon!!

Comí anoche con mi novia. Fue el mejor curry que hemos probado en Ladbroke Grove. Se nota por la calidad de la comida. Es un byob así que naturalmente mantienes los costos bajos. Gastamos £ 25 cada uno, pero estábamos siendo codiciosos, se podía gastar fácilmente menos. El personal también es muy hospitalario, amable y buena gente para estar cerca para una cena. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente!

Perfect for take away, very good prices for excellent food and generous portions. An independent business who really deserves to be supported by the local community. Very much recommend!

Nice food. I’ve been here a few times and the takeaways are consistently good. The restaurant itself is a bit ‘school dinner hall’ type decor, but no faulting the food or service. The decor could do with an update, and not really a place for a couple’s intimate meal, but that’s not going to stop me going back over and over again. On the takeaway front, a biryani, a side, a drink and a naan is around £20.
