Little India in Kensington and Chelsea

The food was fantastic!!! Really enjoyed the Spicy garlic chicken and the garlic Naan. Our waiter. Mumit did an amazing job explaining the menu to us. This place is so good. I have already been back again!!!!

Attended Little India restaurant yesterday with family for a birthday. The service from staff was very polite, friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, we ordered two lamb dishes (meat curry and rogan josh). The lamb for both we were cooked very well, was tender and flavoursome. Overall experience at this restaurant was positive and if in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to return and enjoy more of their tasty food.

me and my partner visited on a Saturday evening. the service was excellent alongside the food which was fairly priced. Mumit did an amazing job at making sure our dining experience was as great as it could be.

The owner was eating at the counter standing while he was working. Above all, they are not Indians but are from Bangladesh, so they didn't even know how to cook many things correctly

We had a wonderful meal at Little India. The wait staff and host were very attentive and welcoming, and everything we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed samosas, naan, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken and vegetable biryani. All were excellent! It was a lovely atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening there.

Came here with my friends on a Friday night for dinner after work. The food was amazing, service was speedy and the atmosphere was brilliant. This is an authentic Indian place, would definitely recommend!

Always go to this little gem of an Indian restaurant when I'm in London. There are of course many good Indian restaurants in London, this one is top class in my opinion.

Nice Indian it tasted very good

I came to eat here on a Saturday night and the food was incredible. The service was really quick and the food was authentic. I loved the new atmosphere after the recent renovations. Hats off to the head chef for the lovely food. I would recommend the Garlic Chilli Lamb curry with boiled rice!

A very pleasant, very tasty Indian meal.

Wish there was an option of giving minus 5 star to this pathetic restaurant. We ordered Chicken curry, dal makhani, mutter paneer and 4 garlic naans. Everything ordered was undercooked, made from frozen vegetables, and was horrible in taste. The cutlery were kept unhygienically. Service was bad and the waiter did not heed to what we wanted to order as he kept on pushing for another dish which we didn't want to order. I am indian and have tasted such amazing Indian food in Southall, Wembley, Hounslow, Birmingham, Coventry, Glasgow and many other places .Don't ever visit this place and save yourself.

Just collected a takeaway, it was literally the worst Indian meal I've ever had, ordered tandoori mixed grill, the meats looked liked it was the leftovers off someone else's plates, cold and portions miserable.. avoid.. there's plenty of other Indian restaurants to choose from in the area

Best Indian food experience I've had in the whole of London! These guys make you feel at home in their restaurant and then back it up with some delicious grub.

Six of us- a pescatarian, a vegan, and four omnivores, enjoyed a delicious meal together. The wait staff were pleasant and attentive. It’s a small space but not too crowded. It’s our second time there, and we will be back again.

Amazing authentic Indian food with options for people of almost every diet. The servers were very kind and even gave us some chocolates and a letter for New Years. The chicken dishes are amazing as well as the vegetable rice and the Indian donuts. This is a great restaurant in general and in a nice location. I love this place, It is the best Indian food I've had in a long time.

This is a tourist restaurant. The food is bland and, for what it is, overpriced. If you like "Indian" food, do not go here. I can only imagine that the ratings for the restaurant are from people who have little or no knowledge of the cuisine. Having just returned from two weeks visiting the sub-continent I was looking forward to a nice meal and was deeply disappointed. There are many good "Indian" restaurants in London - this, sadly, is not one of them

Where should I start? The food wasn’t just beautifully served but also stunningly rich in flavor and just delicious. I can honestly say that I’m wonderstruck with how amazing and price accessible this restaurant is. It was the perfect scape after a Museum afternoon. I highly recommend it. It’s very local and quaint, just the warmth you need during a rainy London day. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back again and again when I visit London.

A hidden gem. We just stumbled on this place and we loved it. Our favourite dish was the Sag Paneer. The staff were very helpful and accomdating to our taste.

Mr Mia and team made the experience amazing. The food was lovely and the service was impeccable. We were here for a birthday and they went over and beyond even adding a birthday card. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area. Can’t wait to go again.

We had visited this place before Covid and liked it so much, we decided to come back even though there are probably hundreds of Indian restaurants around London. Unfortunately this time our experience was completely different. The food was extremely bland, no taste whatsoever, I couldn't taste any spices, only loads of tomato sauce. The serving was unappetizing (Ikea plain white bowls that we have at home), we felt rushed, it felt very disoriented overall, it was noisy, neither food nor ambiance was good. When our reserved table was given away (we had travelled from the other end of the town and missed the train, so we were just a bit late, fair enough), my son refused to go to another Indian restaurant next door saying "mom, we can't betray them", and chose to wait for the table. So, I was particularly let down by our experience, even though we told them we had returned from abroad. I am deleting my previous raving review, since it's now misleading. P.s. I also think charging 6£ for a tiny bowl of rice is outrageous. It was called pilaf or whatever, but it was just white rice with a tiny bit of caramelized onions on it. Oh, and I've been to India multiple times and know what Indian food should taste like. I am still giving 3/4 stars because I remember my previous experience very fondly. I do hope they change again and this time for the better.

We decided to try Little India as we are staying nearby on a visit from Glasgow and are both curry lovers. The fish pakora was fine, our mains were chicken madras and lamb vindaloo as we both like spicy food. These dishes were by far the best curries we’ve had for some time, absolutely delicious. Good atmosphere, the service was excellent as was value for money. Highly recommend.

I went to dinner here with my mother and it was amazing the food was amazing and the ambiance we enjoyed throughly our waiter Mumit was a pleasure he was really warm and friendly and extremely helpful. All in all I would recommend everyone should go.

Visited last Friday with my wife. Food was acceptable if a bit bland. Annoyed to notice that they overcharged us for papadums (4 when we only had 2) and they charged extra for the condiments that came with the papadums, which is really tight. I only noticed after I'd paid and couldn't be bothered to argue over a fiver, but it annoyed me. Doesn't surprise me that they have so many negative reviews.
