I recently dined at Kutir, and the Sea Bass Neelgiri was a standout dish that truly impressed. The sea bass was perfectly cooked, with a tender, flaky texture that melted in my mouth. The Neelgiri sauce, featuring a blend of mint, coriander, and aromatic spices, added a fresh and vibrant twist to the dish. Each bite was a harmonious balance of delicate fish and bold, refreshing flavors. Paired with fragrant rice, this dish offered a sophisticated yet comforting experience. Kutir's innovative approach to traditional Indian cuisine is truly exceptional, and the Sea Bass Neelgiri is a testament to their culinary excellence.

Spent the weekend strolling around Chelsea with some friends and stumbled across this hidden gem—Kutir, an Indian restaurant tucked away in a little alley. The place has such a cozy, garden vibe—super warm and romantic. We went for the lunch set menu and tried a couple of cocktails, which were both on point. I loved the Prawns ~ Masala; the prawns were fresh, and the masala seasoning was just perfect—so tasty! The Chicken Tikka ~ Masala was another winner—the chicken was tender, and the curry flavors were spot on. It was amazing with the rice and naan. The dessert was creative and tasted great too. And the staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Thanks to Kutir, I’m now a big fan of Indian food! Definitely recommending this spot to anyone in London who loves Indian cuisine.

We visited Kutir this weekend on a friend’s recommendation to try their Indian cuisine. We opted for the lunch set menu, which was only £35, and it included delicious starters, main courses, dessert, and drinks. It felt like such a great deal! I particularly enjoyed the masala prawns and the seabass curry—both were incredibly flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant was also fantastic, with a super romantic atmosphere that's perfect for a date. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

I’d absolutely recommend Kutir for an Indian dinner. It had a truly intimate feel, familiar dishes with a unique taste, and a truly hospitable service. Kutir is set in a cozy Chelsea townhouse with green walls and floral print. It’s a quintessential English ambience with authentic Indian food and hospitality. The rooms seem to be divided in such a way that each feels small and intimate. They helped us make our celebration feel special. Food was approved by me and my rather choosy family - we knew the dishes but still felt like we ate something new, which is just what fine dine should be; service was nice and with enough staff to make you feel well-attended. Five stars from me!

A beautiful restaurant in Chelsea, lunch meal 35 pp for a starter, a main and a drink. Cocktails are impressive, it's quite new gin tonic for me and taste 10/10 good, fresh Food portion is fine, feel just full for both adult man and woman. Taste also good, we had chicken and sea bass as main, the chicken's sauce is in good balance of spice and seeet. Sea bass has more coconut tone. A delightful meal in summer afternoon

I recently visited Kutir and really like it. This restaurant serves traditional and creative Indian cuisine. The elegant decor matches the Victorian-style buildings around the area. For lunch, we tried their menu and were really impressed. Prawns Masala that includes Roscoff onions, coconut, sesame, and peanuts was really good. The prawns were juicy, and the combination of coconut sweetness and sesame crunch created a rich flavour. Quail Naan with Truffle is my favourite. The naan was perfectly baked, stuffed with seasoned quail eggs and truffle oil. The creamy texture of the masala scrambled eggs paired well with the strong aroma of truffle, making it one of the most unique naans I’ve tasted. I like the sea bass main course. It was well-seasoned and paired with jaggery and fragrant curry leaves, blending the freshness of seafood with spicy flavours. Their desserts were impressive too. Date Pecan Cinnamon made with dates and pecans, and served with cinnamon-flavoured Kulfi ice cream, caramel, and pistachio crumbs was really tasty. It was sweet but not overly so, with a delightful mix of textures. Sorbet Granita also surprised me. It was refreshing and light, combining mango, fig, watermelon, and ginger beer granita, with a squeeze of watermelon juice. For drinks we ordered Bahaar and Sariska both of them were nice. I think Kutir is really nice. It’s clear that chefs Rohit Ghai and Abhishake Sangwan put a lot of effort into making these dishes. I’d like to recommend this restaurant to others who want to try traditional Indian cuisine with innovative design.

We went on a Saturday evening so they were pretty busy. The restaurant is a house converted into a resturant in a nice neighbourhood. The on street parking was free after 6:30pm. I was quite impressed by the speedy service. We ordered mango lassi, somosa, prawn and lamb curry. My favourite dish was the coconut prawn curry, the pieces were juicy, loved the blend of spices- would definitely order this dish again. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the lamb shank, as it was strong of a certain spice. However I liked that the lamb was quite lean and not fatty. Would recommend ordering the mango lassi aswell, felt like home.

Fine dining in Indian style. Beautiful restaurant and service is very polite. The service is flawless. The food was fantastic, unfortunately my rack of lamb was very tough and could not even be cut through. My party's rack of lamb was very tender. The staff was very understanding, but when a new rack of lamb was served, it was again very tough. For the price this should not be allowed, unfortunately the food is 4/5. Nevertheless, I would not recommend the restaurant! Not recommended if you can't handle spicy food.

🥥Appetizer: Black tiger shrimp with chopped coconut, the shrimp meat is very fresh and large, and the coconut is refreshing The bun that goes with the Masala Lamb Pao is creamy and fragrant, and the lamb curry next to it is also very fragrant. I really like the cumin-flavored curry. 🍲Main course: Chicken red curry: My favorite way to eat Indian curry. Red curry is slightly spicy and blended with a variety of Indian spices. The chicken is stewed and is very delicious. The soup is much more amazing when paired with Indian bread than rice. Coconut Green Curry Sea Bass: Not as spicy as red curry, but with more refreshing lemon and sweet coconut cream 🍦Desserts Chocolate mousse with moderate sweetness, delicate taste and novel citrus flavor The cinnamon cake is super delicious. The cake is full of cinnamon-flavored syrup, but it’s not too sweet and is acceptable. The masala-flavored cookies presented at the end were also very unique. Some Indian spices were added to the butter cookies, which was not obtrusive but very distinctive.

Beautiful Interior, decent food and great service. Came here to celebrate my friends birthday. Highlight dishes were the lamb chops and the aloo tikki chaat. However we both really disliked the Srilankan spiced scallop and the paneer tikka. The paneer tikka came with a tomato salsa we feel was too overpowering. Would rather have had the paneer tikka with corn that they used to do. Overall food was a bit pricey but still nice for an occasion.

I would like to thank the management team for rearranging our table last week, moving it back an hour and providing extra flexibility as required, as we battled unprecedentedly bad traffic on the motorway coming south from the Midlands. Whilst the day overall was quite stressful, having the peace of mind we weren't going to miss our table which we had so been looking forward to and lose the holding deposit made things so much more manageable. This understanding and support with something completely out of our control was really appreciated. Upon being seated just over an hour after our original time, we were greeted by friendly staff and a warm welcome. We felt the stress immediately lift from our shoulders. The food was generally excellent, the highlights being the tandoori lamb chops which are some of the best we have tried (succulent, smoky and zingy) and the keralan style jumbo prawn curry. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys a more contemporary take on indian cuisine, with great staff and a clear customer centric focus.

Food 🤔 2/3. This is traditional food, not adventurous, and of colonial India vibes.. the £bill is not for the faint-hearted expecting flavours bursting with southasian music and splendour. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and patient. They even gave my partner and i an anniversary cake and card! Cocktails were incredible. I went for the gin/violet one. 👌🏾 Sadly, I was not blown away by the food. Though one dish that stood out for me was the Lamb chops. I quickly realised this restaurant is of the colonial settings and probably has a greater white audience. There was an obnoxious white lady sat behind me yelling her answers at her husband and the waitress..and not even looking at the waitress. 😫 It's not somewhere i would visit again. But overall, the service made it great. Very thankful. They were lovely and kind to us.
